 Cory Anaboko "Bred to Kill" Weapon | Genin | Sound ((Kk))
Cory tilted his head.
"I am a weapon-user-guy... I think..." he tried to explain, not knowing the terms for such things. "I have a weapon that my family made for me..."
He took out the kodachi from it's seath, which was fastened to his middle-back. At a single glance, Gin would be able to tell that this was no mass-produced Kodachi, seeing as how every aspect of it was absolutely perfect. Steel of the perfect shade, perfect grip, straight, and sharp to the point you wouldn't feel any pain when it cut flesh.
"This is Tsume no Hooku..."

Gin took the blade and placed a finger before him, balancing the sword on the width of his finger. He then twisrled the sword around by moving his finger and flicked it into the air, catching it on the width of the other finger, twirling it again and then stopped, handing back the sword. "That is a very good sword you have there. Sharp and balanced. Strudy too. So being of that class you probably only have one element am I right?" He asked Cory

Cory Anaboko "Bred to Kill" Weapon | Genin | Sound Cory smiled, seathing his sword gracefully. There was more- Far more to Tsume no Hooku than just a normal kodachi. Although those who used chakra-sight or vibrations to see could see that his kodachi was heavily engineered.
"Thanks..." he said, smiling. "I'm not sure what my element is though... I jsut got out of the academy this morning..."

Gin rubbed is chin then reached into his coat pocket, pulling out a sheet of paper. It looked odd but all villages have one. He handed it to Cory. "Go ahead and touch it. It'll show you what is your element. If it catches fite, your element is fire. If it becomes soaked, its water. If it turns to dust its earth, if its wind it'll split into two. And if lightning, it'll crumble up" He said as he waited for Cory to touch the paper

Cory Anaboko "Bred to Kill" Weapon | Genin | Sound Cory barely grazed the paper with his palm, cuts appearing on the paper until it was reduced to mere confetti.
"Like that?" he asked.

Gin smiled looking at the shredded paper. "Yes, it seems you possess the element of wind. This is good for weapon users since wind can assist in cutting power and speed. So I ask you this question though, do you want to learn wind jutsu first or sound jutsu? Both are very useful in many ways so I'll leave it up to you." He said for this was important for Cory. Both elements were useful, but he had to choose so they can get started. He knew which jutsu to teach him in either case

Cory Anaboko "Bred to Kill" Weapon | Genin | Sound He personally couldn't care either way. seeing as how he had no idea what was going on at the moment. Things were moving so fast, especially since this was Cory's first day as a genin.
"What about jutsu that will specifically help me with my class?" he asked.

Gin rubbed his chin thoughtfully. Honestly wind would be suffice. He pulled out a scroll with a wind symbol on it. He read through it and found one. He stored it once more. "Alright we'll start with wind. The first technique is known as Yadama Furooseigyo (Projectile Control Skill). As it says you use it when you use projectiles like kunai or shurikens, making them faster. And once your stronger, they will travel twice the speed thrown" He said as he showed him the handsigns to perform the needed technique. "Your manipulating the air behind the thrown weapons to propell the objects thrown" He said finishing

Cory pulled out several shuriken, and two senbon, the projectiles being the lightest out of anything that could be thrown that Cory had on him. Throwing the projectiles at a far-off tree, Cory started performing handsigns as a midnight-blue aura of chakra slowly emanated off of him and his fingers. Thrusting an open palm towards the shuriken and senbon, the two suddenly split and curved, coming back in to strike the tree on both sides.

Gin watched as Cory practiced the technique. He smiled as he watched the projectiles split off and struck the tree in its sides manipulating the wind. "Ah, good job! I suppose we can move onto the next technique for your class. But its basic techniques come first. Its called Kaze Bunshin (Wind Clone). All what you do is manipulate wind with your chakra and mold it into the image of yourself" He said showing him the handsigns

Cory Anaboko "Bred to Kill" Weapon | Genin | Sound Cory smiled, performing the handsigns and focusing the chakra throughout his body. After a faint aura of his colored chakra engulfed his very being, it separated from him and condensed the air around it, making a wind clone.
"Hows this?" he asked bashfully, looking at the clone as it looked around for itself. As of now, it had a mind of it's own... Well, at least the mind of a retarded armadillo, which was signified by the fact it did somersaults everywhere.
"Do you know any Kenjtusu?" he asked, 'kenjutsu' being hte only term he knew of the art of the ninja.

Taya arrived at the training grounds, a little later than expected. A small bird flying by had intrigued her. Being the middle of the winter should mean the tiny bird be gone somewhere warm, yet here it was, battling the winds and dodging the white flakes. Her feet sloshed through the snow as she made her way to Gin. Despite the lack of clothing, Taya wasn't cold. It was quite natural for a shifter to run at a higher temperature than normal people.

Gin turned around and greeted her with a smile. "Well I was wondering when you would get here Taya. I was beginning to think you had second thoughts" He said as a gentle wind blew through the field, his cloak swaying with the currents as his hair was played with a bit, his eyes looking at her's as she approached

Taya smiled and laughed. "I did get a bit side-tracked, but I would never go back on my word." Her emotions were cool and collected, though she was beginning to feel a bit on the playful side. Maybe it was her eagerness to learn something useful, or possibly the proximity of her and Gin. Koutaya noticed Cory and flashed him a smile and a slight head-dip before returning her azure eyes to Gin's misty ones.

Gin grinned at her eagerness and approached her. "Well I guess I shouldn't distract you so much." He said laughing a bit, recieving intel from his clone. "Well I suppose we should get started on your training with earth style yes?" He asked as he drew out a scroll with doton symbols decorated on it. He got a peek earlier so he knew a handful of jutsu to teach her
