You should always finish a book first before you give your opinion of it whee heart rofl . As you read the book, you do get a sense of who Chiyo is and you "watch" her, so to speak, grow up and learn valuable lessons in life. Mameha is my fav character xD.

Chiyo, herself, is confused and not too sure of what she is, so it's hard for you to.
But great book, nonetheless.

Finished in about 5 days, I actually sacrificed some private time to make a stretch for the finish.
The ending seem fast-forward and predictable, real downside and I hate how she goes to New York.
I like the begining that the conclusion although the book is great none the less.
Now, I'm off to start The Da Vinci code.

Quite the eye you have there, didn't know she was new.
Looks like I'll end up seeing the movie with mother. No joy included except for the buttery popcorn, cheap and good.
Though, I heard the plot was butchered up a lot. That's a shame

I'm an oldbie biggrin Whee!
I saw the geisha movie.
I gotta say, seeing how much popcorn can fit in my mouth was more intriguing than the movie. I couldn't folow.
So butchy and crappy. As soon as it jumped the part that I read, my mind would play that part and I wouldn't folow the story. It was like a racetrack missing a few tracks to connect each segment.
I don't know where to start, just that everything was half-assed. So it seemed.
