Everyone is changing There's no one left that's real To make up your own ending And let me know just how you feel
Silas heard the commotion even through the thick cell. A voice shouted out three numbers. The first two were how dangerous the students were and how many there were. The third number was what they were doing. 'Dangerous students, two of them, weapons/powers fight,' He put down his instrument of torture. "I'll finish with you later," he told the girl.
Silas was soon running out to the lawn, following the stream of other teachers, threatening student along the way. "Get back to bed! You want a cell for the night? No? Finley, don't even think about it," he called to a student who was sticking his head out a window, getting a better look at who was fighting. The students were chaotic however. Control while there was a fight was difficult.
He stood on the lawn, looking at the two fighting students. Evangeline, the smartest half-wit ever to hold a sword was now bleeding in a few places, nipped by Eliza, dangerous enough without his sword. "My sword," he said softly first before shouting, "that's my sword! You vile creature! Drop my sword now or I'll double your time in a cell!"
'Cause I am lost without you I cannot live at all My whole world surrounds you I stumble then I crawl

Eliza turned her head away from Eva, letting her get in a nice gash on Eliza bad fighting arm. Good. If it was the good arm, they were screwed. Silas was screaming at her and she could only hear the voice. The words didn't carry through the wind. "If you want it back, you'll have to fight me with for it! You and all your teacher haters!" She snapped, holding the sword above her head.

Conrad's breathing deepened as he ran down the corridors, heading to the basement, then to the cells. Student's didn't notice him and all teachers - including, thank the stars, Mr. Rigger - were outside. His swords were now drawn, since there was no fear of being seen but plenty of fear of a lingering faculty member. He skittered into the cells and went silent. He took a moment to get his breath back under control, and he returned Bite to its sheath hung on his back. Holding Slice in front of him, he stepped forward, out of the shadows and into the aisle of the cells. No one challenged him. Returning to the shadows, he slunk across the wall, whispering as he came to each cell. "Are you in there?"

In truth that she learned, or the times that he cried Mr. rigger continued to shout as Eva and Eliza battled. Eva had obtained a painful bite on the side of her stomach, just below her ribs. She managed to inflict two more small cuts on Eliza, but they were small indeed.
Time was running out for how long a sword fight might last. Evangeline spread her wings out and morphed her torso. Her hands turned into claw-like talons and she made a risky, but successful move to pick up the second sword. "On with it," she challenged to Eliza. Her eyes were drawn to Eliza's hands where she knew Eliza's powers were focused.

They painted up your secrets With the lies they told to youAnd the least they ever gave you Was the most you ever knew
Abigail heard a voice calling into the cells. She felt so weak and her voice barely worked, but she managed a moan of some sort. She lifted her head and looked to see who was rescuing her. "Oo's 'ere?" she tried to ask. The mumble was disoriented and ran together. Abby somehow managed to pull herself somewhat upright, although using the chains to balance herself.
And I wonder where these dreams go When the world gets in your way What's the point in all this screaming? No one's listening anyway

Conrad unlocked the cell door and stepped inside. These cells were designed to sap people's powers, but seeing as he had no powerful powers, he thought it wouldn't affect him. He was only a little wrong. He was no weaker, no less experienced than before. But his nightmare of nightmares suddenly loomed before him. He didn't know. Knowledge was what kept Conrad going. He filled himself with it, gazing at the stars with a hunger surpassing a starving man's. He kept his ears and eyes open to all around him, longing to know, for only in that did he feel safe. In these cells, the stars could not speak to him. And suddenly, this feeling of security left him. He shook it off. Sheathing his sword, he knelt on the floor and draped the small girl over his back. It was a bit of an awkward position, mostly because she was too weak to hang on to him herself. Holding her weight, he stood - a bit shakily at first - and left the cell. The stars' voices found him again, and he took a deep, peaceful breath. "I'm to take you to the girls' dormitory," he said. "Help me find it."

Abby felt some strength return to her as soon as she was beyond the power of the cell. "The top wing on the east side of the school," she told him where the dormitory for girls was. It was a long walk from the cells. Although Abby was stronger than she had been, she was still exceedingly weak from spending nearly an hour and a half within its power-leeching walls.
"Who are you?" she asked him after taking several deep breaths to bring fresher air into her lungs. Abby felt embarrassed to be carried, but knew she was incapable of walking by herself at the moment.

Conrad grunted. "Do me a favor, will you? You can't walk yet, but hang on around my neck and waist by yourself. I can't carry you and a sword at the same time." He paused as the girl put herself into a piggie-back-riding position. "I'm Conrad. But as far as we're concerned, you were never in that cell and I was never out of bed after hours, agreed?" He continued moving, going at a swift jog this time. "What's the shortest way to the dorm? Never mind," he said as a group of teachers surged down a nearby hallway. "We'll go this way. What did they put you in there for, anyway?"

Blood feeds us all in one way or another
Eliza gave a grim nod towards Eva before turning and facing the mountain of teachers rushing towards her. She plunged the sword into the ground, sucking the energy out of the moving beings as is cut deeper into the earth. The teachers faded one by one into a hypnotic state as she drained most of their energy away. "You will now walk to you rooms and fall into a peaceful sleep of which this is dreamt. You will not remember any this."
Slowly they dispersed, wandering mindlessly to their rooms, hopefully. She was still getting used to the whole mind control thing. First time tried in large scale, actually. But normally, if you drained enough energy, people couldn't remember what had happened only minutes ago. It was a handy little trick.
"Lets go find Conrad and Abby, put the weapons back, and get this night over with. " She took a deep breath in, feeling powerful, to say the least. Eliza felt like she could fly; the energies pulsating within her swirled into a cataclysmic array of colors and emotions. The memories that lie inside the energies filled her mind. The one downside to her power. And also part of the reason they don't remember anything.

"I accidentally started to absorb someone," Abby paused for a moment, "a teacher someone." She had passed through Mr. Rigger on accident. It happened sometimes with her powers. She lost control and became like a vacuum-ghost. She could pass through people and absorb their energies, powers and soul. She had a necklace of crystals, varying in colors, around her neck of crystallized souls. Generally she kept that part to herself though.
"Why did you come to rescue me?" she asked him. Abby had almost no friends at the school. She had a roommate, but no one who she really liked to hang out with.

In truth that she learned, or the times that he cried Eva watched, impressed, as Eliza did a massive memory recall. It gave her chills, knowing that all those people fueled Eliza at the moment. "Agreed," she said to the notion of ending the night. It was beginning to get long and they would raise suspicion if they slept in too long. "Abby should be in the girl's dorm and Conrad will probably be with her," she rationed.
They made their way inside, returning the weapons quickly, before they began to go to the dorm. "Not a bad call-break," Evangeline said conversationally.

Eliza nodded, feeling a bit twitchy. The power flowing through her energized her like a battery. She wasn't going to sleep much for days to come unless she worked most of it out of her system. And that usually meant long nights at the gym wearing her muscles down to the point of breaking. But she was overly excited about that. She hasn't had this much energy since she was a child.
"Not bad, at all." She agreed, pleasantly. Well its not like she had to hide the Energizer bunny hiding within her skin from Eva; She already knew.

"Why not rescue you?" Conrad asked back. "You're one of us..." he paused, not knowing her name. "Anyway, the teachers have no right to do that to you for things you can't control. Do I turn here? Good." Then he met a problem: stairs. Stairs were difficult to climb when you're carrying a small person. He started up the steps very slowly. They passed a window, and he looked into the courtyard. 'Aw, shoot, they're done!' "We've got to get to the dorms quickly. The teachers will be coming in any minute... Know any way to get there faster?"

"Of course there is!" Abby said as she searched for a crystal around her neck. She found it, a pale yellow one with white steaks. She rubbed it between her fingers for a moment before it slid off the chain. Abby pressed it to her chest and in a few seconds, it slid into her skin. It was the soul of a magic using toddler she had been forced to absorb. He had been dieing after being diagnosed with a disease. She had been forced to absorb him and his teleportation powers.
Abby brought up a swell of energy and with the faintest exhale, they left with a crack. When she opened her eyes they were just at the beginning of the girl's dormitory.

"Woah." Conrad blinked, then took the girl firmly by her shoulder. He didn't know how much energy it took her to do that, and didn't want her fainting while they were still within the range of teachers. Exactly why wasn't he screaming or freaking out? Exactly why wasn't he absolutely petrified of this small girl's powers? No one's saying he wasn't. He just held his emotions like that. They stepped into the dormitory and were confronted by Pheonix and Willow.
