Angel purrs as she smiles, nodding.. "Not a problem, dear. It is alright to be nervous. I am alil scared but isn't trying something new is scary at first?" She looks at the pink fluffy with a smile.

"Trying new things is scary at first, but once I try them I feel much better and it isnt that scary anymore. It just looks so beautiful around here." Sienne looked around the temple, it was beautiful. So calm and peaceful, just the type of place that made her feel relaxed. She purred along with Angel.

::Lavender giggled softly as she watched the two new girls, she had not known that it would be so busy today... she'd smile at both of them...
"Becoming a follower of the goddess is a commitment... are you both very certain that you are willing to follow her and do as she expects of us as her children? Our Goddess loves us, yes... but she can be cruel at times.... it is the way of things... for she is not only our mother, but the mother of those that dwell within the Western woods..."
a slight shiver ran along Lavenders spine... she wasn't purring.... but she was looking at the two to see if they had what it took to be an acolyte before it was she'd show them anything more.::

"You are ready for the induction... I will be back for you later Sienne, you make yourself comfortable here in the temple... I need to show Angel around...please follow me...."
she'd smile at Angel and lead her out of the main worship area and down a back hall of the temple....
"Your guardian will not mind you staying here with us, will she? It takes great devotion to become an acolyte, and even more to become a priestess... I can tell though, you want to be all that you can for the Goddess, so it is important that you live here.... You may of course, still see your loved ones, you may go for a visit to your guardian's home.. but you must always remember your daily prayers and service to the Goddess even when you are not here."::

Angel purrs as she says "Not at all, Miss Laverne.. After all.. It was her idea to send me here.. She knows i would be happier being the best i can be here.. Working here would do great.." Angel looks around as she smiles, loving the place already.

::She'd purr with a nod of her head... leading her into one of the important rooms...
"This is the kitchen, it is where the Goddess provides us with food... she is very kind and giving, Thanks to the Goddess that blesses we children with her gracioous gifts..."
... there she had bowed her head in prayer at the mere mention of a gift received from the goddess...
"and over here, this is where the applicants sleep..."
she'd show her another room that was near by where there were a few Fluffy cats busily working on things for the Goddess, some doing artistic things, some singing... some of them working on their strength...
"this is where you will stay and sleep when night falls...."
she'd turn and smile at the other cat, making sure that she was following her.::

Angel purrs as she looks to the one singing and smiles.. She continues to follow her as she looks around.. "It is all so gorgeous, M'lady.." Her face beams as she slowly starts to realize that she was gonna live here while working.

::Lavender smiled, pleased... now came the time where she would explain Angel's new duties....
"As an applicant, you must embrace the Goddess fully, you must look inside yourself for what is your gift that has been graced upon you by the Goddess. As you see, some can sing, some can dance, there are other's that were born with greater strength and there are those that are wise and will become scribes or sages of the Word of the Goddess."
She'd lead her to one of the empty pillows in the room, this would do for her... it was nice and soft and the sun would glitter through the windows to waken her...
"There is a garden, we must all tend to it, it is to show our love and appreciation for all that She does for us.... we must keep the temple clean and free of vermin... So a lot of work is physical... You may chose what you wish to do, if you see something that needs to be done, please do it. And if you need help do not be afraid to ask for it!"
she'd giggle softly, this was a big place and there was a lot of work to do for all of them.
"Prayers are in the morning and in the evening. We all gather in the worship area and spend a while Praying to the goddess, you must make your own prayer to her, she likes diversity, difference. She is very unique and she desires her children to be as she is."
She'd wave a hand towards the other applicants...
"Only through hard work and dedication will you become an acolyte, on that day, you will begin your journey to become either a Priestess, a Sage or a Monk, depending on what your talents are in the service of our beloved Goddess..."
She'd turn as if to leave her there... but she would turn...
"oh, there is one more thing... the Goddess loves to have gifts offered to her... you can do so by leaving them on the alter out front... whether it is a poem, some fruit, a fish... whatever you think she would like and if it is a gift from the heart, she will accept it in Grace as you must carry yourself in her Grace at all times..."
her head bowing to her as she'd leave the other cat to do as she would, to follow the Goddess in her own way, her own path and find her destiny.::

Angel looks at her and says "M'lady.. How will I find out my ability? I am sorry if I am keeping you from your duties." *She bows and lays down on the mat, purring softly. She looks to the sky and sighs.. "I hope i can fit in here.. Like mother said i would.. " She closes her eyes and says "O, Mother Goddess.. Help me find my one true ability so that i could serve you however you wish me to. May your love for us help us throughout the day." *She licks her paws softly as she looks at her friend.. "Did I do that right, M'lady?"

"Yes, you did it right...There is no wrong when expressing your love and thanks to the Goddess..."
Lavender turned to look at the poor cat on the mat... she'd give a little sigh...and then pad over to her....
"gifts are given to us when we are born, some can sing, some can dance, it is up to you to develop what you have already... or to learn of something that you want to be able to do... for instance.... he studies the plants in the gardens, most likely he will be gifted with some form of healing or nature ability... she, can sing, her song may bring comfort to those that have been harmed, or possibly heal..... there are many different ways to develop an ability.... you just need to focus on what you want to do, how you wish to serve the goddess and go from there... I do not have all the answers, I am an acolyte yes... and I have been down this path, though you need to find your own path Angel..."
she'd smile at her....
"don't worry, you will do just fine, you love the Goddess and she knows this... she will hear your prayers and answer them when you are worthy of it."
and with this, Lavender did leave... Angel had to learn on her own... think and become what she would by herself and not follow the path of another because she was as unique as each and every one of them were::

Angel watches the kitty leave and purrs softly but sadly.. She looks to the sky and closes her eyes.. She wished she had her music to sing along with.. It always made her feel safer about herself.. She shakes her face and her body.. She could hear some harps and panios playing. She decided to sing to her Goddess.. She didn't know what to sing but one song that her mother was always listening to.. We Belong Together by Mariah Carey. Her voice began to sing beautifully and angelic-like as it seems to spread out throughout the palace. She knew she felt her singing could help out the palace out and spread the love for her goddesss. She flaps her wings as she hits the chorus and the high notes of the song.. She felt tears shining thru the rims of her eyes when she closed her eyes.* "We.. Belong Tooooggethhhherrrrrrrrrrrrrr" *She hits the final high note and pants softly. She smiles as she licks her front paw and passes it over her face softly. She begins to fly to explore the palace, wondering what or who she would find in this place.*

Sienne nodded and bowed slightly as Lavander and Angel left. She sat and admired the beauty and tranquility "Our Mother Goddess is all that is, it is her that has made things so beautiful, it is her I have to thank for being here to witness this beauty." She closed her eyes and purred softly. Sienne did wish to learn about the Mother Godess but learning something new always worried her. She decided not to dwell on that for the moment and to be happy that she was here. Sienne hummed a little tune as she sat, she had no idea where the tune had come from but she hummed it with not a bad note in her hum.

Angel continues to fly down the hallways, exploring the palace.. She wonders what she could find.. She sees the statue of the goddess and lands before it in a bow of grace to it.* "Hello, my dear goddess.. I hope you will help me find what I am destined to be in the temple of your wonderful love." She purrs as she begins to sing an irish song that seem to be about showing one trust to another..
