Andrius stopped short having heard her thought. "We do not need to talk now...I know you do not want to be here." He turned towards the woods, heavy hearted at her rejection. How could I expect her to be so warm to me. her life is changing...she does not know me...but...I had hoped...

"Gah! You heard my thoughts again!" She said hanging her head hearing his thoughts, "I suppose I should explain it to you. I merely meant that where I would like to go is a place you cannot. I would like to go to a place where the sun shines but you can't go there." She shook her head gazing out towards nothing. "I don't know this area at all so I don't know where I'd be comfortable."

Eos was trying to think of a way to explain so he'd understand. "Um.... How about this...... I don't mind talking to you right now but I don't know where to go to talk since I've only been here like one other time." She said, "And when you asked me where I'd be comfortable I thought about how I'd be comfortable in a place you can't go, in the sunlight. So that wouldn't work so I said I didn't know where to go."

Eos smiled, feeling relived. Why she felt relived was beyond her. She nodded and began heading towards the river. "So is there anything else important that I need to know?"

Andrius frowned in thought, "Yes...It is unhealthy for lifemates to dwell apart...they share everything, air, blood, bodies...minds...everything. Eventually, for your health, you will need to be converted to be like me. There is also a good bit of discomfort that comes from our being apart. And while we will need to be apart at times, during our separation, sharing minds is necessary to keep ourselves sane. And do not fear that I will expect all this at once. That is illogical, unreasonable, and insensitive to you. Know that my duties as your lifemate are to see to your safety, your health, and your happiness, in that order. I will not shirk these duties."
