Krystelle sighed. "I should have told you about that. I'm sorry." She said, "Yes it'll be temporary. Try blinking a bit." Of course. Someone would decide to give her their trust and she would do something to betray it. She truly wasn't worthy of having another's trust.

Errdegahar blinked as he was told, his sight coming back. "You sparkle in the sun unlike you did in the dark."

Krystelle chuckled and nodded. "Yes I do sparkle. Very much like a crystal. However if I step out into the sun, I'll surely blind you much like the sun did moments ago."

Krystelle smiled, it reached all the way up to her eyes for once. "You're welcome. And thank you for calling me by my name." She looked out of the shade and into the field. Off in the distance, not visible from here, was the Sparkle Lake. Perhaps another day she could show him it.

Errdegahar closed his eyes tightly, pulling a wing over his eyes for extra protection.

Moving out into the light Krystelle looked up at the sun. She closed her eyes and bathed in the light and warmth. She was sparkling and the sunlight was shining off of her brightly. After a moment she moved off to the side so Errdegahar could open his eyes and not be blinded. "You can open them. Just don't look over to your left. I'm standing over there."

Obediently Errdegahar opened his eyes, looking at the sun and all the bright colors. "How does one hate this?"

Krystelle shook her head. "I don't know. Perhaps it from living in the dark for too long." She said watching him, "If you don't look at the sun or me for that matter, you can probably step out into the light. See how you like that."

He moved out into the light, his skin feeling warm for the first time, without being pressed against another being's. "I...it...is warm."

Krystelle had been in the process of spreading her wings when he asked his question. Pulling them back against her body she looked at him. "...... I don't mind if you do. Just be prepared to close your eyes if it's too bright."
