Lina's panther groans as it's back is split open, exposing the machinery and crystals underneath, hot fluids spraying into the air, becoming like mist. It took the shock , falling to the ground again. It layed still for a moment before trying to stand back up, groaning and squealing as it's previously fluid movements became jagged. It slammed a claw against the barrier, locked onto Lina.
Reeve's Panther squealed and reeled back, catching itself before it's legs gave out. It shook it's 'head', the movement rolling down it's back, after which, it lowered itself closer to the ground, letting out a spray of smaller energy beams, a soft 'taktaktaktak' echoing from the cavity in it's face.

She didn't even look at him.
" Bit busy, but which do you mean, the new people or light orbs?"
She asked calmly.
Lina jumped back ontop of her barrier. Grabbing the panther and attempting to lock it's joints with metal molding.

Reeve again sidesteps and attacks, shoving the panther's barrel down into the ground. He even jumps on the back of its neck for good measure.
"Eh, a little of both."

There is a bright white light burning a few miles off, lasting for a few seconds before dissipating.
The metal molding didn't seem to work, the crystals beginning to glow a soft yellow, instead of their previous blue. The panther looked up at Lina before twisting away, slamming into the barrier twice, the third time, crashing through it. It projected a barrier of it's own. When it slipped free, it dashed into the forest, it's energy spiking before disappearing. The fluids it was dripping would lead off into the forest, towards where the explosion was, before stopping abruptly.
Reeve's panther dug it's face into the ground, the dirt smoking and smoldering from the heat generated by it's attack. It bucked wildly, eventually leaping backwards into a tree, whether Reeve was there or not.

Lina looked towards Reeve.
"Then yes" she said in a deadpan voice.
Lina tilted her head towards the light after the panther escaped.
"Want to hazard a guess what that's about?" she asked.

Reeve flings a bolt of lightning up into the tree for good ******** cat.."
He frowns, breathing a little heavily as he tries to remain collected. It's getting harder to do lately.
"Who knows- Probably more bad news for us."
Fishing his pockets, he digs out Ish's ring and looks it over.
"Bet she didn't hear."

"Probably... pull back since we lost them, but found them?"
She tilted her head to the new presences a few times.

Rains gaze turned into a steady glare as she pushed herself off the tree. She turned, so her whole body would face the people, and hide the girl behind her. Her blue wings stayed tucked to her back as she waited, wondering if the two were going to attack them.
Dja caught Rains movement and followed them with his own, taking his rightful place behind her. She had always noticed small signs that he hadnt, which bothered him to an extent... But she wasnt in command because she was cute, she knew things and could do anything a warrior could do if not better.
The spirits took their place behind the two guards and right by the hooded girl. She had known not to say anything, and to stay still until her Warriors told her otherwise. They were much better with combat then she was.

The panther slammed through the tree and slid to a stop, facing Reeve one last time before bounding off into the forest and disappearing with the other.

Reeve sighs, gazing out to to where the flash had been.
"I don't know. I think that might have meant we're out of time. I don't wanna give up, but..."
Dragging his palm down his face, he shrugs.
"Okay, let's go find out these guys work for Neko, too."

She sighed.
"Fair enough, though given everything that happened around here I figure that's a given."
Lina flipped on her eyepiece and waited.

"Go forward... I can run if needed... We need to find Ishira, and she was just here..." The cloaked woman looked at her guards, her eyes full of confidence, and nodded. She wrapped her cloak tightly around her as the spirit orbs took their place on her shoulders, two on each while one stayed in front of her.
Dja looked back to the girl and smiled.
"Dont worry so much." He said, patting her head. Rain scrunched her nose and just walked forward, her weapon at her side in and none hostile way. She raised her free hand as if to show she wasnt trying anything. Dja and the girl followed behind, the girl being sure her face was out of few of the strangers, they may mistake her for her other half... Dja just balanced his staff on his head as he put both hands on the back of it.

Reeve stretches his arms above his head and cracks his neck, then starts striding toward them.
"Okay," he says cheerfully. "I'm going to skip the trivialities. I don't know who you are, you don't know who I am, most likely. So, to save us time and tedium, I'm going to give a couple names, and you're going to tell me what they mean to you. If you answer incorrectly- suffice it to say you'll know."
He is, of course, patently aware that he's being tactless, but his patience ran out right about the time the goddamn-cat-with-a-water-faucet-for-a-neck-that-shoots-freaking-lasers showed up. Eyes wide and cheerful, he spreads his hands disarmingly.
"First up- Nekojiri. Survey says...."

The girl reached out and touched Rain, who was glaring up a storm. Obviously she didnt like this man at all.
"No, we dont know anyone by that name...." Rain relaxed at the girls touch and looking over her shoulder to make sure her face was hidden. It was... Rain looked back, she could guess the next name this man would say... He may have had a smile on his face, but she knew better, it wouldnt be wise to let the girl speak to him.
Djas hands didnt move, he just narrowed her eyes. Well, wasnt this getting interesting.

"That's a bingo!" Reeve says, holding his ground with folded arms. "A good, if easily expected answer."
Here, our exasperated hero decides to get a little sneaky. He'd heard one of them form a word, however faintly, during his fight with the mechathing, one he'd been using fairly often. Time to see if honesty was the policy on the table here.
"Time for the second round. Show me.... Ishira!"
