Damn, he'd missed - the bullets that struck the gunblades were normal, not the high-explosives he'd loaded into it. Still, it did a fair amount of damage as his blades ripped easily through its body, still gaining the benefit of the regular bullets vibrating through the gunblade, shearing through its flesh. He only hoped that would be enough.
As his blades left the Tri-Face's body, throwing gouts of blood into the air, he leapt off to the side, being more careful of its jaws this time. He landed and tucked into a roll, coming up with both blades bared. It turned towards him, growled and took a step forward, but its leg stumbled beneath it and it fell to its side, howling as it died.
Alexei let out a relieved breath and collapsed to the floor. A great gash in his leg bled from where the Tri-Face had bit him and his chest hurt from being slammed into the wall.

Aki watches, sword still drawn, as the Tri-face falls. She sprints over to Alexei and casts a curaga spell on him.
"Very good Alexei. I knew you could do it. Focus is the key to any battle, and if you can master your mind in battle as well as your body, you'll make an excellent SeeD," she says, giving him a pat on the shoulder.
She returns to the compound and says, "Who's next?"

Shiro watched with a big grin as Alexie took down the mighty beast with a slash of epic proportion if he'd ever seen one. "Damn impressive cowboy. Stuff like that almost makes me feel like I should pick up a blade. Almost." He said with a chuckle. But that was a fine end indeed. Shiro was shaking with anticipation, he was more than ready for this...maybe. He still wasn't sure about the text book stuff. "Hope all the good monsters haven't been taken yet, cause ol' Shiro's up and he's looking for some action! Yeah!" He happily battled the air again with his boxing, getting himself warmed up. But he was beaten to the punch again, and some other student he didn't even know volunteered before him while he was busy hamming it up. "Noooo!"

Hunter Channels His Guardian Force, Bahamut Fury through his sense but Not Enough to Summom him and looks at the remaning Gates, Hunter Speaks in his mind to Fury "Which one Should we take Fury" Hunter looks around at all the Gate when Fury spoke in Hunter Mind "This one Hunter" Hunter Looks to Aki "This one here Miss Aki"

Hunter had to think on this one since this is one of those Monster Hunter had never seen.
"Now where have I seen this Monster before" Hunter was trying to remember back to a Textbook he had seen
Then a Lightbolb Turn on "Thats Elnoyle, I thought I seen this one before"
"Elnoyle is a Monster that appears close to Esthar, Its Weak to any Wind Spells and Earth Spells will miss it, and Your Able to Draw Pain, Double, and Holy from this Monster"

"You guys have been studying! Good! A few notes, stronger Elnoyles can cast some nasty magic. They also have an attack called Tail Needle, which deals massive damage. These are good creatures to study up on, because being unprepared will get you killed. Alright Hunter, ready or not!"
Aki lifts the bars, and the Elnoyle comes flying out.

Adara made a mental note about the creature, having never heard of the Elnoyles before. She noted it weaknesses and invunerabilities and sat back to watch the battle.

Hunter Quickly Drawed His Katana and Douge Elnoyles and cast the Wind Aero on the Elnoyles
As The Elnoyles Flys back Around it uses it Claw Swipe Attack and Hit Hunter in his Side but not Deep enough to cause any internal Injury
Hunter Runs At the Elnoyles and Flash Slash the Elnoyles 9 Times and Hunter Uses the Spell Aero again to Finally kill the Elnoyles.
"Much Harder then I thought it would be"

Shiro watched impatiently as the other guy dispatched his monster as well. "Ooo, well done." Looking around to make sure no one else was around to steal his thunder this time around he nodded when Aki asked him if he'd like to go next. "Yes ma'am!" He jumped forward into place, looking at the compound. "Guess I'll take that one." He said pointing to the very next unopened one in line. "Man oh man I hope I get a fun one, heh heh heh." Rubbing his hands together in anticipation Shiro got ready to fight, almost forgetting that he had to identify the damn thing first.

Shiro got more and more excited, waiting to see what was behind door number four. Through the bars he could see some angry snarling beast, dragon like in it's appearance. He looked at it, taking it in and wanting nothing more than to get a good fight from this thing, scanning his brain for information. He knew he'd seen this one before somewhere. "..Um...no not really. Sorr-wait! That's it! Score, use to have this card in my Triple Triad deck! It's called a Grendel!" Just having a name and picture to go with it made the job a lot easier, and Shiro was able to remember more about it from the text books. "Its a smaller dragon that has thunder breath...and um it's weak to earth I think. Oh and it's got a sharp tail it can attack with...yeah. I think that's it." he said looking at Aki, hoping he was right.
