Theres not much technical things in EBM, its pretty straightforward and easy. However, apparently its hard to make it sound good. lol

I dunno about good, necessarily. Most EBM, by my estimation, is at least competent. I.e. no glaring mistakes or annoying qualities. However, very little is original or at all innovative.
In that way, it's a lot like metal. xp
Progressive EBM would be so cash.

Well, the reason why its usually good quality is because its all pretty much digital, less anologue-to-digital conversions as well as not much external recordings have to be done either. All you have to do is plug the synths in and BAM! quality recordings, aside from mixing of course.
I'd like to think of Cult of Cadavers as progressive EBM.

I was snooping around and I found these guys: http://www.myspace.com/fgfc820It's not the most original thing in the world, but it's catchy. I hadn't remembered seeing them mentioned yet, so I thought I'd give it a go.

For some reason they remind me of an american version of Centhron. I also just came across Freakangel, apparently they have no albums or anything out yet but when they do I'm most definitly buying it, I'm really enjoying this one song.

The other preview songs on their vampirefreaks gives me the impression they are actually doing something different than most EBM/Aggrotech bands and I enjoyed what I heard so I'm quite excited about their release in a few months.
almost forgot about that tour, thanks. biggrin
I'm more excited for Cyanotic to be honest, I love Cyanotic. That being said, from what I've talked to Erica, she seems quite nice and I heard Unter Null put on a great show. I really can't wait, especially since its in a club I haven't been able to get to yet since I just turned 21.
Also, if you haven't heard, I think this is Unter Nulls last tour for a while, especially since its kind of her last album. Thats what I though she said, but then she said I read the post wrong....

There must be at least one band/artist, but I can't think of one. Well, actually Psyclon Nine has a few songs about the dislike of Christianity.

I suppose that wasn't an appropriate rec due to the lyrical content. A shame, since they're really pretty good. And yeah, INRI was pretty much an entire anti-religion album.
