Tassador didn't notice the tree root at the moment as he leapt forward suddenly, the fireball flying out towards her as he raised his scimitar to slash at her chest.

The tree root leapt out and wrapped around Tassador's foot as the fireball hit her armor and the scimitar got her in the side. "Damn it!" She growled, ripping the burning armor off her arm, and then holding her wound for a moment. I could use some help! She thought angrily, letting the tree root move to slam Tassador into the ground.

Tassador grunted as he hit the ground, but with a flick of his wrist the root was cut in half, freeing him as he stood up again. "Tripping me? Is that the best you have, Strider?" Tassador sneered softly, growling as he swiftly moved forward again, aiming to disarm her of one of the swords this time.

"Nope. Just a nice distraction." She told Tassador as she threw a few daggers and then appeared beside him, slicing at his side.

((Dinner, be back in just a little bit!))
Tassador blocked the daggers, all of them except one, which sliced his cheek lightly, the male grunting as he turned and blocked the slash, stabbing at her leg in return.

((For real?))
"Oh no, I cut your pretty face." She mocked. Amaya barely blocked the stab and sliced at his head, then moved to stab his gut.

(For real!))
Tassador parried the block, and the clash made both of them lose their grip, each of them left with only one sword as the almost matching scimitars flew out in different directions. "And I'll cut yours off." He promised, slashing down at her stomach once more with his remaining scimitar.

"Doubt it." Amaya snapped, barely blocking once more, losing her last scimitar. "Aw damn. Oh well, so momentarily have my hands."
((Sorry, working on cleaning my room while doing this.))

((It's ok))
Tassador laughed as he kicked her scimitar away, slashing at her leg this time, merely to try and incapacitate her. He was aiming to try and capture her right now, not kill."

The attack hit and she growled as she fell, holding onto her leg. She was distracted by trying to protect the prince on her own. That, and trying to make sure the wrong pieces of armor weren't knocked off. Still, she got the roots to come up and hold Tassador's feet once more, attempting to keep him back. It was harder to fight in this bulky armor.

Meanwhile, the prince that the Black Riders were protecting was watching with interest. A small smile played at his lips. The scout, the one called Strider, did not seem to be doing as well as his opponent, the one named Tassador. The name was familiar, and it dawned on the prince. For the prince's ambitions, he had to keep track of who was who. Tassador was the leader of the Dark Guard, the Black Riders arch rival.
The competition between was two groups could prove to be a very beneficial trait that could be manipulated. He couldn't have them fatally injured now. Defying all logic, the prince stood up and walked toward them.
"Tassador and Strider, why don't we have some chocolates together and talk about our grievances for a moment? " This was definitely a WTF moment. It was an extremely lame excuse to get them to stop fighting, and he doubted they would listen.

What is the idot prince doing? Kray thought to himself. This was no time for talk but thanks to the prince's interfearence, the fighting did temporarily stopped. He would take advantage of the situation. "Strider, take the prince and go. If he's here, the other 2 have to be nearby. Make sure that you are not taken by surprise. Nicki, go with him. Get the prince away from here. I'll cetch up once I finish with him." This was for the best. One, the prince was out of here. Two that group was unlikely to be caught by surprise. Three, 2 people protecting the prince was better than 1 and 5, Strider would refuse to leave without Nicki.

The fighting did indeed stop, Tassador literally freezing at the prince's stupidity. Was he actually serious? Tassador almost laughed. Almost. Instead he cut himself free, just as Kray made himself known, the male laughing. "Like I'll let this one get away. Strider is mine." He smirked, flicking his scimitar down to point at Strider, who was still on the forest floor as his eyes watched Kray.

Kray took the pike off his back and stabbed it into the ground. It was only slow him down. His next move had to be swift and unexpected. He glanced at the surroundings. It seemed Tassador was the only one here at this moment. "Do you really think it will be that easy? Do you really think that Strider will just allow you to make that move without any retaliation?" He asked. This was it. He had to make his move while Tassador was speaking. It would be his best and only chance.

"She won't have a chance when I knock her unconscious." He smirked, his eyes watching as he got rid of his pike. What was he planning....
