 RunouraLoosening her grip on the tall Sableye, she glanced about frantically as the names were called. Normally, she would have just shaken it off and left but after everything that had happened, it was safe to say she was in the middle of a break down. Opening her mouth to echo what the Doctor had said, she remembered her vocal cords didn't work and could only stare into the darkness with a questioning and fearful gaze.

"My gift.... your burden..." The voice whispered.
A soft purple cloud began to float around the two Pokemon.
"Suffer my curse.... for the sins of your ancestors..."

the Good Doctor
Well, obviously his question would go unanswered. It looked like this was about Rune...and if the owner of the voice was intent on hurting her, it would pay dearly. But for now it seemed content to deliver cryptic words. Rune may have let go of him, but she was still close enough to defend, and if it came to it, that's what he would do...especially since the voice started talking about 'sins of ancestors', always a dead giveaway for those who held grudges unfairly. He said nothing, though, just listened and waited.

RunouraRune slowly shook her head from side to side. She didn't understand. What did any of this have to do with her? As far as she knew, she had never hurt anyone and yet... this terrible sadness engulfed her soul. Had she been alone, she might have given into a panic attack but that was just it. The Good Doctor had not left her side even when the odd entity had appeared. Although she was still scared, the tears in her eyes dried away and she took a few calming breaths, forcing herself to gain control of her emotions. She felt the Sableye next to her tense, ready to act if need be and this helped her somewhat. Turning her sorrowful blue eyes to the purple cloud, she waited for it to continue. It surely wasn't done yet.

 The cloud then began to form a shape.
It was that of a Gengar.
"You... are the descendant of heartless murderers... for that, my curse will ravage your life..." The Gengar said softly.

RunouraAt last the form took shape, assembling itself into what appeared to be a Gengar. She had never seen the Pokemon in her life, leading her confusion to a whole new level. However, when she heard that her ancestors had apparently been murders, she blinked repeatedly, unable to comprehend. Her... her own blood had killed others!? The thought horrified her and she crouched in front of the ghost type, bringing the three thingers on either 'hand' together in a pleading gesture. 'Why!?' she mouthed. Why must she be punished for the wrong doings of others? Curse... Curses could be broken, couldn't they? Willing the specter to hear her thoughts, she prayed she would not forever be stuck in such a pathetic state.

"You will be unable to speak until you prove yourself to be pure of heart..." The Gengar spoke.
"Do not blame yourself for this curse... Blame your ancestors..."
The Gengar then began to fade away.
"God, he was a dickhead, too..."

RunouraProve herself to be... pure of heart? How did one do that? The Froslass turned her head to try to mouth out another question but it was too late. With the specter gone, she could only tremble and float in place. She felt lost, for the first time unsure of her place in life. What if she never found a way to break the curse? What if she never got to tell... No, couldn't think about that. It would only make things worse. Completely withdrawn, she almost forgot the presence of her Sableye friend.

Rune had a curse? That did explain a lot, but it did not make it okay. Still, the terms had just said she needed to be pure of heart. The Rune he knew was the kindest Pokemon he'd met. Stepping closer to her, he took her hand in his. "Rune, you vill be okay," he said reassuringly. "If zis 'curse' is to be broken vhen you are pure of heart, it vill be over very zoon." The Sableye could tell she was uncomfortable here, though. "Ve should go," he added.

RunouraBarely registering the sound of the Good Doctor's soft steps, she jumped a bit when his hand closed around hers. Looking up at the gleaming red eye and listening to him oddly made her feel better. That damnable despair was still there, but she saw the truth in his words. It would not be long. She would have a chance to break it and then... then she could tell him everything. Nodding, the Froslass left the Corridor alongside her dear, dear friend.

Kain and Kyo Kain and Kyo walked into the corridor they had heard a few rumors about this place but they had never checked for themselves so it was as good as a time as any for them to do it. '' Maybe we can find something rare here.'' he said looking back at Kyo who was staring into space. '' Yea but it feels weird here like somethings watching us.'' he looked around trying not to let his fear of darkness get to him.

A small Shuppet watched them out of the shadows. Huh. They didn't look like they'd been at the guild long. Then he grinned.
Closing his eyes, he created a large, scary illusion of a Shadow Lugia, its eyes terrible with malice and anger. Surely this would cause them to run! While they were distracted he slipped behind them and carefully laid a something around Kyo's neck; a Magical Bow. Then, giggling lightly, he withdrew to the shadows again.

Kain and Kyo Kain looked at the giant shadow Lugia then shrugged while Kyo was shivering and frozen from the sight of the beast, kain saw something flash on Kyo's shoulder and picked it up. '' A magical bow how did that get there?'' he asked then looked back at the giant pokemon. '' What do you want?'' he asked getting ready for a fight.

The great Lugia roared and, instead of answering the two, brought a wing forward at high speed. Seconds later a huge gust of wind blew the two Pokemon into the air; they landed at the entrance and the creature disappeared. Once again everything was silent.

Kain and Kyo Kain opened his eyes everything was spinning and everything that had just happened felt like a dream the only thing that kept him from believing that was the magical bow that was in his hand. '' Kyo lets go.'' he said then looked at his partner who looked like he was ready to kill someone. '' Yea i want to fight that Lugia!'' he yelled and with that they entered the corridor again.
