Peter watched the display of swordmanship rather boredly. Well if Gizmo was attacking him, then he probably wasn't an ally.

Pulling three pieces of paper from the stack in his hand, he let them straighten into rigid sheets before tossing them in a vertical line at the man's back. There was no honor among cubicle workers.

"Swordsman, huh?" He mumbled, grinning as he dropped the handle of his bag into a specialized loop on the back of his belt.

Suddenly the pad in his hand moved as if it had a mind of its own, the sheets flying out of his hand and folding but remaining connected. The writhing mass of paper quickly formed the likeness of a Japanese katana.

Wielding the weapon without even a hint of expertise, he charged, bringing his sword around for a horizontal slash in his best imitation of a Japanese action movie.

((Sorry... but it did only take about 10 minutes... I got interupted by my family...))

((First roll, Grenade use. Second, Defense against Grenades. Third, attack of opportunity vs. Mister Count's character. Mister Count. Roll defense against 36 for the strike with the bot.

To clarify, since you didn't roll for the grenades I rolled for the result of your grenades Kami. Just to be fair. sweatdrop Then the next roll was them defending against the blast... then the attack against the Count's character.))

The grenades flew at the windows, one of them bounced off the traincar, splashing down into the water (Liberty taken because of low roll. Sorry if you have a problem with that. I thought it was fair).

Inside and in the water, they erupted, fire sorching inside the car, and water and sharpnel flying out from the pool (Bad news Count guy).

The Cement was slowly pouring into the pool. It was almost a minute, before you could see it below the surface of the water, just a few inches down. Matching the speed you could guess that it was only 5 feet deep, at least at that end.

Inside there was whiring and clanking, buzzing. Finally, a robot, tall, round, sent a fat, glowing red fist out of the door, slamming into the wall in frotn of the Count as he ran. Shrapnel from the pool, and the resulting explosion of fire energy and metal fist against the wall pelted the arm, but didn't seem to get anything more deadly than a few scrapes against the armored fist and arm.

(( Am I to roll against that first one? for usage of grenades? ))

Finally, it was time for Vincent to use his strength. He leapt onto the tracks, right behind the train, and ran to catch up to it. With every step, testosterone flowed through his body, increasing his strength. He was no longer hiding in his sprint toward the train. Eventually he reached the back car of the train, and grabbed hold of the hitch on the back end.

"Construction mimcry...FORKLIFT ATTACKING!" With that, his muscles bulged as he used his forklift technique to try to flip the train over. If successful, his attack would roll the entire train toward his teammates.

((Since I'm attacking the train, not the robot, I don't need a roll, right? If I do, I'd be more than happy to roll. I'm aware of the strength needed to flip a train, but it's completely within my character's powers.))

((I think the ceiling would prevent you from flipping the train towards your teammates. sweatdrop Without knowing just how strong your are supposed to be, I'd say it would be near impossible. The train would probably give way, before the ceiling would.

Okay, now are you flipping the train towards the ditch, or towards your 'teammates' as you said. Most of your teammates are on the other side of the train, long ways. Which would be impossible. If you're just tipping it over towards the ditch, then I have to think about it. I'm sure that is considerably more probable.))

((Yes, but no one ever said how high the ceiling was, unless I missed a detail somewhere. And since that was never mentioned, it becomes irrelevant, right? If people don't defend, we can ignore them. If people don't say how high the ceiling is, we can ignore it as a factor.

Then, even if the ceiling blocks me, the car is at least shaken.

Oh, and I'm basically as strong as construction equipment. I literally have the destructive force of a wrecking ball moving at full speed.

EDIT: Oh, just to make sure, you're aware that I'm flipping the car to the side, right? Not lengthwise, since that wouldn't be "toward my teammates." I would think there's enough of a gap between the ceiling and the train to make that possible. Plus, with the puddle, there is even more space than usual for this to happen.))

((In the thread's room description, it says that the ceiling is 15 feet up.))

(Wen Li Weinburg Associates)

When he heard the words hit the deck he ducked down and brought a large baggy sleeve over his face. the shrapnel, fire and such hitting his thick, fire/explosion resistant uniform and harmlessly falling to the ground. Since he was ducking. the moment he heard the fist smash through the door he pushed himself back as fast as he could. The heat and such wouldn't damage him since it just grazed him. However, he whipped out three small balls of what looked like lots of metallic fabrics wrapped around each other. He lit them by striking the match in his mouth on the brim of his hat and tossing them at the robot as he kept bicycling backwards. the balls would then explode, sending small metallic filaments into the air aroun dthe machine. Chaff grenades. He grunted slightly as he skid to a stop away from the robot.

His eyes almost bulged out of his head when the TRIAN started to tip over towards him, and he quickly somersaulted and gracefully backflipped away so he wasn't crushed by the train.

"Woah now!" He commented as he spat out the lit match and quickly stuffed another between his lips.

(there, I'm posting anyway! he'll react just seeing the train start to shake razz *L*)

((Well, there are things you can presume, that shouldn't need to be said really. Like unless magic is afoot, gravity works downwards, etc. The tunnel being the hundreds of feet high needed to flip it end over end, when you only went down one flight of stairs to reach the tunnel, should not be said.

Ruling is for now: Edit: Back train tips over. Back of the middle car is dragged a foot off it's tracks, before the coupling breaks. Back car is in the water, fourty five degree angle. The ceiling is down and towards the wall, wheels up and towards the middle..))

(( I was under the impression we were on the other end, but slightly to the side of the train. unless i got mixed up somewhere. But i believe bryce effectively meant to flip it towards the ditch either way. ))

Matthias had already lept clear of the train to escape the grenade blasts. He grinned and got himself to a kneeling position. Now that he was certain where the robot was, the rest should be pretty easy. Since the magic cancelling field was still growing and he had moved away from the area, he was well outside of it. He used his Economancer senses to try and locate precious metals in the area. The most common material for top of the line circutry in robotics these days was Gold, which he was looking for specifically.

He unshouldered the M82 Barett .50 caliber anti-material rifle and aimed it into the train car, and closed his eyes. The highest concentration of gold inside would likely be the robots main computer core. He felt it out as best he could, and squeezed the trigger several times. This was one of the worlds only Anti-Tank rifles, and should have more than enough penetrating power to ignore the materials that made up the train between Matthias and his target. The depleted uranium shell itself should also be enough to pass the robots armor. Or so he hoped.
