Goddess he hurt. The welts rising up over his black skin burned as if he had sat on red coals. It was almost a relief when the switch broke, save for the fact the amount of strength behind the switching needed to actually break it promised to leave him feeling pain for days. Despite his humiliation, Zerk lifted a hand to push at the hand Rile used to rub his head in a tantrum like gesture. Though it lacked the flailing strength he had exhibited before. "Your going to p-pay for hurting me Lady Danni." Zerk spoke unhappily.

It was quite but audible and she nodded. "Perhaps, but unless you wish to get switched again you will remember to address me as such. Rile, take care of him. Get him something decent to wear in our colors and see a mage about getting his hair dyed a proper color." Danni ordered before disappearing back into her tent.
"Well, you managed to piss her off well brattling." Rile shifted Zerk down, standing up brushing his clothing. "Do you need help up?

With painful movements Zerk reached back to pull his pants up. His head snapped up a bit and his hand moved instead to his hair. "D-dye!?" He exclaimed with horror. His hair! His beautiful hair! She could not be serious! When Rile set him to his feet, he staggered a bit, though he was quick to shake his head and shuffled a step away with a glaring look for the pale eyed male. "I don't need help from one of your kind! And your not ruining my hair color!"

He arched till his back cracked, yawning as the youngster glared at him completely at ease with the angry cyan eyes. "Mmmm, you stand out to much with that hair color. Dye would be best Zerk, unless you want to be targeted. Now come along or be dragged," Rile command voice warm and rough.

Zerk fastened his pants and forced himself not to wince as the fabric brushed over his lashed hide. Just because they had hurt him did not mean he was going to make this kidnapping easy on them! "No! I won't let you. Your not ruining my hair!" He adamantly insisted, and to even add to his point he crossed his arms over his chest and narrowed his eyes.

"I guess we could always have it shaved down so it doesn't attract attention instead if you are so against having it dyed a proper color. "Rile muttered eyes half lidded in thought. "Either way, you need new clothing and some form of cream to stop you wincing like crazy."

Furiously Zerk pressed his fingers more tightly into his hair. The thought of becoming bald was even worse! "Fine...but...it better be white...pure white...as pure as spider silk. Anything else would be a insult!" With a slow painful shuffle, Zerk gave Rile a scathing look. "I do not want to change my cloths. Just what are you planning? Why did you kidnap me anyways?"

"Why would it be anything else but pure white?" Rile muttered amused, eyes crinkling up slightly at the edges. "It is not like I'm going to dye your hair red...though my brother loves to have his hair streaked with colors." Rile turned walking towards a house. "You're clothing is just going to get ruined here." He added.
"We kidnapped you because someone paid us to. Why else would be care about you little brat king?" Rile grinned. "So we'll get you a proper uniform, some work clothing, and padding."

Zerk shrugged his shoulders slightly, as that did not cause his rear end to chafe and burn. "Some drow have blond hair. That means they have surface elf blood in them. I won't stand to be degraded like that." He explained as if Rile should have already known such a thing. "I do not want color in my hair. I think it is foolish and vain. My hair is beautiful just as it is." He reached up and ran his fingers through the black strands with a small frown as he considered the information he had just been given. "Why was I kidnapped? Who would be so foolish to risk my Houses wrath? Why do I need...what? Work cloths?" Zerk's frown grew even deeper. "I'm a noble! I don't do 'work'. How long are you supposed to hold me? For what purpose?"

"I see," Rile said dryly eyeing the dark hair lips twitching in amusement. "Having your hair color can be quite soothing and everyone works here. If you do not work you will not eat. Probably get switched again from Danni as well." Rile shrugged. "I don't know, I just know we were paided to kidnapped you and hold you till we get the word to return you."

At first Zerk merely scowled arrogantly at the mere thought of dying his beautiful black hair any other color. His agitation grew as Rile would inform him of the expectations he had. He shifted unhappily at the threat of being switched again, and he frowned more darkly. "I want to go home.That is hardly an answer. You do realize my father is going to kill all of you for this. No amount of money is worth what he is going to do to you all."

"He will first have to find us Zerk, now keep close. I rather not have you getting lost. Probably get devored by a hook horror or something else nasty that makes its home around here." Rile leaned over running a hand though Zerk's hair. "Come on, we'll get your hair dyed and dress you in something proper." Rile grinned, making his way carefully though the tents.

"I can handle a hook horror." The boy grumbled under his breath unhappily as he moved to walk slowly with Rile. When he reached over and ran his fingers through his hair, Zerk turned his head and lifted his hand in an attempt to smack Riles hand away from his head. "Do NOT touch me with your tainted hands!" He snarled. "I may have to tolerate your presence for now...but your all going to pay severely soon enough."

"Is that so? Could you handle a who group of hook horros bent on eating your squishy brainmeats?" Rile snorted still relaxed and lips twitching in amusement. "From where I stand younging you are the one tainted with yoru black hair and cyan eyes. They seem just as unatural as my blue or my sisters yellow." Motions Zerk into a tent. "Lets get you some decent clothing."

"Yes." Zerk replied without a moment of hesitation. His head once more tilted upwards arrogantly in his surety. "I would dart around and slash them to bits with my knife! Their hides would be nothing against it's edge." Zerk's proud arrogance quickly turned to a aggressive glare as Rile would call him unnatural. "I am NOT tainted! I am special. My hair is the blessed color of darkness. And my eyes are only cyan cause of my power! It makes them glow this color. Unlike -you-. Your obviously related to the surface elf with your ugly blue eyes. And your line is clearly tainted with madness if your sister has yellow. Your all lesser creatures and would have been better off never born." With a sniff Zerk moved to follow Rile unhappily. "My cloths are decent. They are fitting for a noble son."
