Snape is one of the best and most mysterious characters in the whole series! He killed Dumbledore when we thought he was working for him but mybe he had to kill Dumbledore. J.K Rowlin my have a little trick up her sleeve featuring him. But then again, when Snape killed Dumbledore, there were "lines of hatred etched in his face". So who knows? Wether he's good or bad, I hope Harry kills him because he's such a nasty person

I don't believe Snape is good or bad. But I do believe he was loyal to Dumbledor...but only the 7th book of HP will tell.

snape is horrible!! i suppose he's a somewhat good teacher, but definitely not fair... ugh! i hate him for killing dumbledore!! why did dumbledore hafta trust him? in the sixth book, it was revealed that snape was always on voldemort's side...ugh...i...don't....like....him....!!

Yes, it did seem like that in the 6th book but J. K rowling has not made it very obvious as to what will happen. I mean he made the Unbreakable Vow to Narcissa so that he would save Draco's life and killing Dumbledore was the only way he could have kept the vow-Malfoy could never take on Dumbledore-even an unarmed one -he's just too powerful! At the moment, all we can do is speculate

I think snape is innocent 'cause he wants save life ( ok it was draco's life, but it's a human life all the way !)
For my part, snape is misunderstood by everyone in the book !

I personally think Snape is innocent (well as innocent as an Ex Death Eater can get) and I think that he is one of the best characters in the whole book.

Ceribri Ok. Listen. MY theory is that after Snape made the Vow with Bella and Cissy, he told Dumbledore, and Dumbledore got him to do one saying he would do what he had to, in this case, having to kill him.

Snape was bad before remember. Hew used to work for Voldemort which requires bad actions. Snape os more than capable in makeing one of those things
