Charlie yelled at he slamed the door to his house so hard the chipped paint of the door started to fall around him. He started to walk down the road, he wasn't sure if he should go to school today or not. Senoir year, he thought, it's not like I'm applying for university. He crossed the street without looking, or realizing it. He soon noticed a truck coming his way and jumped back a bit before it ran over him.
"Jesus Christ!" he yelled, not looking up, "Watch where you're ******** driving!" he added. Then he looked up to see a hot blond girl at the wheel. He smiled kind of devilishly, but it was still drop-dead gorgeous.
"Sorry, sweetie. In a bad mood today." he said sweetly, walking over to the passenger window and crossing his arms and leaning them on the edge of the window.
"Where are you off to in such a hurry?" he asked, he sort of recognized her from his class but he couldn't fit her in, he wasn't very down to earth when he was in school. But every girl noticed he was in school when he was.

(yeah, it's still lunch. sorry! we're just having sex time right now, since they are both addicted to it XD we'll see where it goes though)

Lyla looked at Oliver and got out of the car. She started to hurry. Patience may have been a virtue, but it wasn't one she had learned yet. She watched his eyes and smiled. She went to the door and unlocked it quickly, dragging him inside. She then closed the door and locked it behind them. She started to lead him up the stairs.

Laneigh was too caught up in her thoughts to see a guy crossing the street. She slammed on her brakes just in time before noticing that guy was Charlie. Mmmm Charlie... She rolled down the passenger side window for him so she could apologize. She couldn't help but blush when he called her sweetie. "Well I was actually going after a card shark but now I think my plans have changed." She said with a grin. "Hop in." She offered, unlocking the doors for him. Goodness gracious he was hot. She looked behind her to make sure no cars were waiting, not that she would care because her truck could crush and puny cars that tried passing.

Gabriel noticed that everyone was leaving campus... he sighed at this and just walked on to class. He didn't want waste the gas in his motorcycle, so he decided to stay in school unlike everyone else. He went to the gym and sighed, setting his stuff down. He then headed up to the roof... he needed a smoke badly. He sighed, hew anted to need it so badly, but it was habit that turned into a lifestyle.

"A card shark? Drew?" he asked, as he took a seat in the girls truck closing the door. "He's a f*****t." he murmered, watching the blond girl as she grinned. Damn, she was hot, how could I not remember her?
"So, darling, you're in my class right? You must be..." he said, pretending to go through a list of classmates in his head, not that he had any friends. He would just have to see if she'll remind him by telling her name.
Charlie laid his bag on the floor of the truck it was a ratty backpack with all his belongings in it. It was packed full but it was the only bag he had for his stuff. It was fully black, a "Dickie's" backpack.

Laneigh laughed at his comment. "Laneigh Davis." She said with a smile. Once he got in she decided to go to the coffee shop, after all who didn't love coffee? She started driving along the streets, deciding to take the long way so she can get to know him a little better. "So, Charlie, what is it that you don't like about Drew?" She asked him curiously. At her mention of Drew Charlie got quite worked up, and it made her even more curious.

Drew pulled up at the cafe and walked in, tossing his pack of cards from one hand to the other. He stepped smartly to one side as a hard plastic cup hit the wall where his head had been a moment earlier. "Missed me again, Oli."

The old man who ran and owned the cafe snarled. "You think I want a delinquent like you in here, Andrew Bentonsley? You're bad for business."

Drew flipped his cards from one hand to the other, the little squares of cardboard neatly flipping over his head in an arc and landing perfectly in his other hand. "Ah, shut up. you know this is the closest place to Vanderbuilt HS."

Drew was right. The Chestnut Cafe was the closest - and in fact the only - cafe in the area around Vanderbuilt High School. Drew was a regular, as were most of the teachers and a good number of the students. It was well known that Roland 'Oli' Groat, the ancient proprietor and barman, kept a loaded Glock behind the counter, and that his middle-aged son Tolliver and twenty-something grandson Stanley weren't averse to punching someone's teeth out. There was a sign that Oli had written years ago hanging over the counter, since this was less than five blocks from VHS. It read: No crack-heads or similar on premises are to scratch their itch, as cracked heads and similar often offend.

Drew loved the place. He was the sanest - or, at least, the least insane - person in there aside from Oli and the other two. He sat in his chair in the window, a worn-out armchair with so many years on it that the spilled coffee stains covered completely whatever color it had originally been. He started dealing out his cards as if playing against an invisible sucker. He was confident that one of the regulars would be that sucker soon enough.

Charlie started rummaging through his backpack trying to find a CD to put in, Charlie couldn't go very long without music. He found his Marilyn Manson CD; Lest We Forget - The Best Of MM. He took it out of its case and slipped it in the CD player, "The Love Song" came on, he turned the music up and lay back in to his seat.
"Mother ******** took all my drug money.. we used to be good friends too." he said, angrily. Some of the anger was from the morning he spent with his family, so it was extra easy to get him worked up.
"But enough of that, shouldn't a cute girl like you be in school?" he asked putting his arm around the driver's seat, relaxing a bit. He wished he had a car too. He took out a little tin bx from his backpack and opened it with on hand taking out a pill and slipping it in his mouth, swallowing.
"Want some?" he asked.

Laneigh glanced over at him to see him relaxing. It was funny how comfortable people can get around each other in this town, it was so easy to start trusting someone you never met before. She pulled into a parking spot at the cafe, noticing that Drew was inside, this should be interesting. She shook her head as Charlie offered her a little white pill. "No thanks, I'm good for now." She said with a sweet smile. "Make sure to leave all your stuff in here, the old coot in there is strict about drugs. With that said she turned off the truck and got out, leading Charlie inside the cafe, making sure that they were in the view of Drew. "I'm gonna get coffee, want anything?" She asked as she pulled out a twenty from her skirt pocket.

Drew noticed the blonde from earlier and one of his old pals walk inside. He smirked and kept dealing. The place was pretty busy today, and there weren't many empty seats. He would bet money - OK, not money, that would be stupid - that they would sit with him or near him.

At the counter Oli walked over to the two new arrivals with the aid of his two walking sticks. They were thin, twisty, and had claws carved into the handles. With them moving and his legs jerkily following he resembled nothing so much as a large spider. "Well? What do you two want?"
PostPosted: Mon Dec 28, 2009 9:13 am

"A large black coffee." he answered, not caring tha she was being nice and paying for him. He took any money he could get from people, he was kinda rude in that way. He turned his head straight ahead to see Drew sitting at an old battered chair in the corner at a window.
"Mother ********> he whispered, heading straight to where Drew was. "No ******** mercy, huh Andrew?" he said to Drew when he got closer. He laughed kind of wickedly and then smacked him in the side of the head before walking slowly over to the other corner and grabbing a seat for him and Laneigh.

Laneigh blinked nervously at the old man, just something about him made her want to turn and leave, for good. "Um, a large black coffee and a caramel coffee..medium size." She smiled and gave him the twenty, taking the change after he gave it to her. She waited patiently by the counter and watched Charlie smack Drew in the side of the head. She giggled, hoping that it wouldnt get any more out of control then that.

Drew snickered and flipped a card into the air, batting it towards Charlie so that it dinged him in the ear. "Not for you, Charles. No torment that isn't asked for, either. Up for a hand?"

He loved needling the uptight constantly-high Charlie. No pun intended. His reactions were hilarious, and (always assuming he was sufficiently in touch with this world at the time) Charlie knew enough not to mess with him. Oli drew the line at illegalities, but bar fights were up his alley. He had sure-matches written up on the giant blackboard behind the counter, and would take bets if both names were at the cafe at the same time. Drew and Charlie were on the list, with the recorded 'score' being at 42-31, Drew's favor. Drew was, in fact, on the list in seven different places. He had a knack for pissing people off. Mostly because he also had a knack for taking them off the piss.

((I've gotten questions about that last phrase before, so just in case: 'On the piss' means drunk. It is also used in my school to refer to being high, drunk, hung over, or having after-glow.))
