Taiyou laughed. "If that was true, he wouldn't have lost the fight! And I'd be fading away to darkness. But he didn't, and so I'm not!" He smirked. "The only worth he has are his looks. Father would sell him, but no one wants to say their eldest is a toy!" He then walked down the street to the grocerie store.

Tsuki looked down. "... ..."

Tsuki looked up at Hisoka. "...You are so...kind to me. But you know nothing of my family." His eyes dulled. "The Mist family...is living mist. We take on human form. But there is limited space. So, only the strongest of pairs survive. My father killed his brother. My mother killed her sister. And Taiyou has killed me. Those who are killed, return to mist and disperse into the sky." He stood up. "...It's Fall now. You have until the first dew of Spring. If you can find an alternate way for me to live...as a real human...I'll repay you with one wish. Be it riches, fame, or women...I'll grannt it. After all, Mist is everything."

Tsuki looked slightly surprised. "You want me, huh? Very well. That'll be your reward." He looked at the house. "With that said, I must prepare my self. Under normal circumstances, would die by Winter. But I want to live. And thus, I shall go into a deep sleep that'll let my body preserve its form longer." He looked back at Hisoka. "Your secret place. I'll be there. Come seek me out when you learn of something. Ok?"

Tsuki softened his expression. "I really don't want to die. I want to live...as a normal human." He gave Hisoke a chaste kiss. "For luck...for both of us..." He then disappeared into a small mist cloud which then went through the sky towards the cave.

{Fall to Spring. Since it's already Fall, due to the school term start, that gives Hisoka 8 1/2 months. ...Oyasuminasai.}

Taiyou was at the library at that time, as well. He was reading from an ancient book with great concentration. "...not fair... ...this is stupid..." He closed the bok and went to check it out, but ended up bumping into Hisoka. At first he was shocked, but then put a sneer onto his face. "Heh, is that corpse dead yet? I haven't seen him moping around as of late."

Taiyou chuckled, as he touched his reddend cheek. He followed Hisoka and stood on the other side of the bookshelf. "Mortals books will tell you nothing. And even if you were to look inside this tome of mine, you woudn't not know anything still..." His eye darkend. Take the bait, you damned fool...

Taiyou smiled. "Heh, I'll never die! I'm a fighter!" He then walked away, a slightly relieved look on his face.

The book contained the individual journal entries of humans who encountered the Mist family. There was a family history as well. One particular one read:

"The Mist Family are cursed, to only exist one at a time.
Their bond as humans is very weak.
They have no true ambition.
Achieving everything with ease.
Those who lust after life, die.
Those who lust after power, live.
A greedy family, the Mist are.
If only a container existed that mimicked their form.
Will there ever be such a thing?"

Tsuki lay on the cave-floor, in a deep sleep. Due to lakc of sunlight, his skin had paled to a misty color. Like that, it was obvious he wasn't human.

Taiyou was at home messing with something in a box. "Yeah, this should do the trick nicely. But how to deliver it without... Ah-ha! That's easy! Lure him here."
