"Don't plan on it, Jett." Dante shot down the F-15 and pulled the Fangs of Fenrir on a Belkan Raptor, shoolting up to stall height, then coming from above, shooting Sidewinders at the target.

"Copy. Jett, Out." he said looking straight up. then he ran in the direction of the base. a few minutes go bu and jett never returns.
"this is valais Air base to AWAcs. were is Arcane 2?"
"he should be there by now." awacs replied
"He's not." Tower said.
" Attention all planes. Arcane 2 is missing." awacs said

"I know that voice! Everyone, stay away from that MiG! He's mine!" Silas shouted as the new enemy drew closer. "Now, now, boy. Is that any way to speak of your own father?"

"This isn't good. Cypher, Blaze, on me!" Two SU-37s and an SU-47 went into attack formation, Fenrir at the lead, and began a Fangs of Fenrir attack. When they began decending, Cypher went left, Blaze right, and Fenrir forward to attack the top aces of the attacking force. Fenrir focused on a formation leader, until he was nearly killed by an F-15 S/MTD.
"You son of a-. You killed my squadron!"
"Defending my self and my comrades. Who are you, anyway?"
"I am Yuktobania's top ace, Liam Stratos, better known as Draken."
"Well met. But Fenrir won't fall to a lizard."
"I'm no lizard, pup. You're mine."
Fenrir and Draken begin to dog fight, reminicent of old style fighting.

The red MiG was phenomenally fast, but no good in a dogfight. Silas's father made a high speed pass, firing AMRAAM missiles at Ustian, Osean, Belkan and Yuktobanian planes alike as he went by. Before anyone could alter their flight path to engage him, he was already out of range, and turning to make a second pass. Deathtoll turned away from the plane, anticipating the direction of his next pass. Silas's YF-23 was seen breaking the sound barrier just as his father passed. Silas was able to engage him and fire in his direction, leading the MiG with his vulcan. A funeral bell could be heard by all pilots. "Ask not for whom this bell tolls, Misanthrope! It tolls for YOU!" Deathtoll shouted.

At that moment, about 8 missiles come from the west and hit 8 unsuspecting planes. "yo guys. You miss me?" came a familiar voice over their comlinks.
A seconded voice came on saying, "you ready arcane 2?"
"i sure am, lets take them all down arcane 5?

"woah. AWACS Thunderhead to all friendly forces. All Belkan, Yuktobanian, and Sapin fighters are retreating. A general order for this was just broadcast."
"You hear that, Draken? Time for you to leave."
"You got lucky." Draken flies, alone, to return to his home base.
"Now for that last fighter."

Jett switched his radio to arcane 1 & his private channel. "looks like my false broadcast worked." he said over their private channel.

Misanthrope broke from his son's line of fire, and barrel rolled to come to rest behind a red F-22. A wolf was emblazoned on the stabilizers. "Nighty, night, Arcane 3!" He fired two sidewinders in rapid succession at the plane. "No! Father!" Silas shouted just as they made impact. Arcane 3 crashed and burned. ((since he hasn't been posting at all, I figured I might as well kill him with my villain.)) "Those fools don't know a fake RTB order when they hear one...I think I'll destroy them, now." With that, Misanthrope broke from combat to pursue the Belkan and Yuke planes. Deathtoll was silent as he re-formed on Fenrir's wing.

"STRIDER!!!!" Dante flies slowly over the crash point of Brigadier General Alucard Harrington, giving him his soon-to-come post-humus two rank promotion. Throwing a salute, then contacted the control tower and was given permission to land. The rest of Arcane followed and they proceeded in silence to the dorm.
