Khalidah patted her stomach and burped, blushing gracefully with an appology. "I've got a pack of dried meat and some cakes." Not that it would get them far, but Khali was a fearsome beast indeed when she was out of sweets. She trotted after Aaron and slipped out, taking a look around wistfully. "Are you sure you don't mind going? I wouldn't be offended if you wussed out."
She wasn't asking either one in particular, just mussing aloud.

Tzeitel smiled, following after Khali. "We'll use the fresher items from our houses first. Your dried foods will last longer. Will be good for later." At the girl's comment, she reached forward and flicked the slim shoulder. "Us? Wuss out? How dare you suggest such a thing!"
Aaron shut the door, securing his pack to himself and bringing up the rear. "Indeed. I seldom am referred to as one who wusses out of anything." He held up his arms, flexing his arms playfully to Tzeitel's laughter.

"Hey!" Khali rubbed her shoulder and pouted, with a little quirk that resembled a smile. She burst out laughing at Aaron's macho display. Immediately after she followed his by holding her arms down, flexing with a resounding growl. "Yaa, check out my guns~ Their so much tougher than yours, Mr. Strongman."
The teenager popped back up with a exhale. "Then it's settled! Onward, to Tzeitel's house!" She pointed in a random direction, then did a 360. "Wherever that may be!"

Tzeitel smiled, a hand flipping up to cover her mouth as she laughed at the two show offs. "Come on, it's this way." She started in the direction of her hut, though was slow at first. She suddenly was starting to feel embarrassed about the condition of her "house." She didn't have the money to keep it up as well as it should be.
"Believe what you like. Whatever makes you feel better about yourself." Aaron said with a chuckle, letting his arms hang lightly against his sides after turning Khali's torso by her shoulders to face the direction they were headed. "Thatta way."

"Your just jealous of my massive muscles." Khalidah tossed her head up confidently into the air after trotting off after Tzeitel. She clipped along proudly with her horse shoes clipping on the occasional stones.
"So Aaron, what kind of skills do you have? Are you a fighter or a strategist?" After all, she needed to know what cards she had in her hand before making a play.

Tzeitel walked ahead, silently leading the way. Maybe she could rush ahead- what could she do with only a couple minutes though? Nothing. She picked at her nail, quickening her pace. The sooner she got there, the sooner they could leave.
Aaron had to laugh. "Well, you are rather muscular for a lady your age." He said, being perfectly honest. "Must be from the smithy work, yes?" He tilted his head at her question. "Well, I suppose I can fight if I have to, but I usually don't." He gave her a quirky grin. "Most taur seem to like me."

"I hope you mean that in a good way." Khalidah waggled her finger. "But, ya, I guess. Most of it's from my sword training. See, when I was supposed to be working, I would ditch Raiden and practice."
She rolled her eyes at him, blowing some of her bangs away with an upward puff. "We'll mark that on the list. " Looking ahead, she realized she'd forgotten about her other companion. Her ears flipped back, and she decided to call out, "Hey Tzeitel! Everything alright?"

Aaron held his hands out with a flourish and playful grin. "I mean that in the most complimentary manner of any man who has said anything to you." "Ah! There's a list?* He cocked his head, smirking mischievously. "And what do you add to that list besides smithy skill and a bold mouth?"
Tzeitel looked back when her name was called, grinning and sticking up her thumb. "Fine! We're just about there." It was just a bit later that she rounded a bend and then turned into the woods, following a half-hidden path. This lead to a clearing, a one room log hut tucked along an edge. The doorway was covered by an old heavy rug. A small garden grew healthy veggies and herbs. "Home sweet home." She said bashfully, hurrying to the house and vanishing inside.

Khali giggled and shook her head, slapping his arm lightly. "Goof. Save that kind of talk for a damsel in distress, will ya?" She rolled her shoulders and stood up proudly, prancing with her shoed hooves clip-clopping on stones. "I happen to be a swordswoman. " -she patted the sword on her hip. "Mom's old friend taught me how."
She kept up her self-important strut all the way to Tzeitel's house, where she only stopped because she bumped into the woman. Khalidah was too busy looking arond to notice her disappearance, but when she did, she turned to Aaron," Is it customary to ditch your company as soon as you show them your house?"

"A swordswoman. Very important on trips like these." Aaron said with a nod, chuckling to himself. "I'm more used to handling farm equipment than swords." He looked at the girl and shrugged. "That should come in handy at some point." He watched Tzeitel scurry into her house and frowned, shaking his head at Khali. "No, it's not. She's just not one to want to show off what her house contains. Really... not much in there to show even if she wanted to." He patted Khali's shoulder. "Don't take offense. She probably thought you'd like to look around out here. Maybe to look at those ducklings in the tree. She'll be back out before you know it."

"Ya, if we need to steal someones potatoes." Khali teased.
She made a slow trot around Tzeitel's house. "I wasn't going to judge her and she can't keep being ashamed of what she has if she wants to be my squire." Honestly. The property didn't look that bad....Alright, so she was lying, big deal?
The teen placed a finger up to her mouth and 'shhed' Aaron before leaning her ear against the side of the house. She listened for maybe a minute before calling out, "C'mon! I want to get somewhere before we're sprouting gray hair."

"Hey." Aaron pouted. "Potatoes, indeed." He shrugged. "Well, it's not hers anymore, since she is going with you." He still wasn't quite sure why Tzeitel was going with this random girl. He put a hand up to his chin as he watched Khali sneak up on the door. What could possibly have drawn Tzeitel into this situation? Whatever it was, he'd be there to look out for them both.
The moment after Khali yelled at the door, it opened up and Tzeitel bopped the near-adult on her head with a ball of yarn. "What are you worrying about gray hairs for?" She asked in a playful scold, putting the ball into the small sack tied around her hips. "Besides, if anyone gives you gray hairs, it'll be Aaron."

Khalidah rolled her eyes. She hadn't thought about how much her lackies would have to give up, but it didn't matter. Once they were rolling in gold, they could buy better houses anyway!
The teen raised her hands with a yelp. "Hey!" She shuffled to the side to fix her hair and stuck her tongue out. "Why him? Your both just as bad as the other! Are you sure your not mated?" She teased.

Aaron smirked, rubbing the back of his neck bashfully. "Naw. We're more like siblings than anything else." He said with an affectionate smile. "Not sure we would survive living together. Besides, I don't want her turning my golden locks gray any earlier than they have to be turned."
Tzeitel stuck her nose in the air. "I am hardly as bad as him." She said haughtily before grabbing Aaron in one arm and rubbing a noogie on his head like she had once in a while with her own siblings back home, fully ignoring the male's objections and walking away from the now vacant building as she made the male submit playfully. Aaron could have easily shoved her off, but that wasn't as fun.

"You've got the sibling part down pat." She laughed and leaned up against the porch railing to ponder. What was Raiden up to? Surely by now he had tattled on her and received some kind of award for best child of the year. Even if she came back now her reputation would be ruined. A dark skinned Jezebel.
She pushed off and trotted down to the yard while pulling out a compass. Khali stuck her tongue out the side and waited, and waited, and waited before pointing. "There! I think we should go South to start. It's warmer that way."
