You recognise the holy symbol on the ground as that of Auril, an evil goddess whose cult is perpetually warring that of Iborighu.

The polar bear looks at the symbol for a bit, trying to remember where she had seen it before, "I recognize that!" She quickly explains it to Horthak, "do you know what this means by chance?" She looks at him questioningly.

Nivia takes a moment to look at them, then continues to look around and see if she can gain the scent of the assailants, wanting to be sure that these are the correct footprints to follow.

smeagol_lied you discern the attackers went west. The Polar Bear looks over at Horthak, "well then, it seems like we need to head to the setting sun this time." She waits for a reply, seeing if maybe Horthak knows a little more about the possible attackers, "what are these followers of Auril usually, or have you encountered them before?" She stands there her weapon at the ready, just in case the assailants are still about nearby.

The bear looked off to the west, "do you have any idea exactly what we might be getting ourselves into by going off after them?" She was asking this because there was a good chance that they would be in need of more people than just themselves if this was what it could be.

Horthak looked at her strangely, wolfchildren had no sense of 'safety in numbers' or overwhelming odds.

The polar Bear shrugged, "it was just a thought, don't worry about it." She looked off to the west and sighed, "let's get this show on the road." She then started heading off along the direction the killers had gone.
