Well, I could lie and tell you that I heard about My Chemical Romance from my friends, or I could tell you the absolute truth. i think I'll tell the truth. Ok, so let's go back two years or so. It's around December. Everyone was getting hooked on Twilight. I was annoyed with the series's fame. Finally I read it and enjoyed the saga very much. I decided to go to Stephenie Meyer's website (the website of the author of the Twilight Saga), and check it out. There, I found playlists for each of the books. I don't think she has her playlists up like she did back in '08. Anyway, she had those playlists up back then. I was listening to random songs, when I came across a My Chemical Romance one. I thought they were really cool, but new my family and friends would never approve, so I kept quiet about them. About three months or so ago, I came across one of my favorite songs from "The Black Parade" that was on Stephenie Meyer's website. I recognized it instantly and wondered why I'd ever forgotten about them anyway. So I began listening to them again, and ended up with "The Black Parade" and "Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys" on my iPod. I've never been happier.

You discovered something magical out of something...um well, *makes gagging sound* stupid. I'm sorry you have to worry about approval, I've been in that position too. Maybe MCR will help you worry for that no longer? The bands I found helped me. Your siggy makes me sad, you should be able to be yourself and look how you wnat.

I don't really remember what it the reason was, but I feel like when I was introduced to MCR, it was because I was depressed about something. Or talking to Jikanu about music, and he wound up telling me to check out Teenagers. I just fell in love. Jikanu was like my big brother when I played Fiesta, an online mmorpg. It's a really good game, but nowadays, I have no one to play it with. Lv. 67 cleric ftw o; .... Uhhh, ok. Uhmm.. And there you go. That was how I got hooked on MCR. :3 So boring, Alice. >>

I actually found them while reading The Chronicles of Vladimir Todd. In the book, he mention Teenagers by My Chemical Romance, and I decided to check them out. Now, I'm soo glad I picked that book up :3 and to be honest, I used to be afraid of them when I was little xD

Well... A friend of mine's computer broke, so i was syncing some songs onto her iPod for her, and she gave me a bunch of CD's, one of which was Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, and of course I was curious so I put it on my iPod too, and I loved them...

I found out about them I think in 2007. I was in my room listening to my cd player, and my sister was going through her cds and giving a few to me. After awhile, I decided to go into her room and saw, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge and grabbed it and started listening to it. I fell in love with "Helena". But not to long after, I stopped listening to the band until about late November of this year. I found them again when I was listening to MTV and "Sing" came on and I recognized the band name and got back into them. I'm so glad MTV played Sing x3

Mtv, unfortunately. They played the Helena vid on the countdown and I became a fan right then and there. Bullets was the first album I actually got because the store I went to was out of Revenge, and I pretty much listened to it nonstop. It all grew from there wink

When I was a freshmen in high school there was this one guy that would tell me every time when I walked to art class there there is a song by My Chemical Romance called Helena. They guy told me this every day because my name is Helena.
After him telling me this every day for about a week, and asked my mom about the band, and she gave me there Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge CD, and I've loved them every since.

Well this guy who I completely looked up to had an MCR shirt on and I thought I should look them up. I watched the music video to "The Ghost of You" and then got "The Black Parade" from the library and I was completely hooked. Now I have every single song by them on my ipod... I'm kind of a My Chem junkie XD
