Mimi followed Tao silently, only speaking when he finally spoke. "What should we get to eat?" She looked around quickly, "I don't recognize any of these places... Maybe back to the Inn?"

Mimi walked over to the menu, and looked at it. "I don't... know what most of these things are..." She pointed to a burger on the menu, "That looks good, Bur-gar? I guess i'll have one of those... and the frinch fries"

While following Hei, Hiro got distracted by a newsstand and walked over to it. He thought the paper might give him a hint about what was going on. At first he just skimmed through the articles before finally looking at the date. What? This date... Its almost five years later... He was shocked and dumbfounded. He started sweating and shaking, as hundreds of ideas passed through his head. After about three minutes the newsman yelled at him "You gonna buy that? Hurry up, cus your scaring all my customers away!" Hiro blinked twice before putting down the paper and walking down the street. He checked his pockets and found that he had everything that he had that last day he could remember, only everything was aged. His clothes were in tatters, He had a pocket knife that was brand new, only now its rusted, his wallet was falling apart and held $22 plus 41 cents in his pocket, and a broken flashlight. "Whats going on? Everything has aged, except me..." he said to himself.

As he collected his thoughts he decided that some one in the town must know whats happening... He remembered the chase and decided to see if they knew anything. Looking around, he found the way he had been heading and began to follow it. He ended up lost next to a river, and gave up his search. I'm never gonna find them in this place... he thought as he sat down on a bench.

The little boy coughed and later on spat out blood due to the kick. The pain faded a bit, but he felt no significant difference from the time he met the kick. He was still curled up into a ball, shaking. He heard a random girl who seemed to be acquainted with the rest of the strangers ask about his condition, and with the little energy he had left, he was still able to reply. "Y-- You-- think?" He kept both of his hands near his stomach in which he was just hit by the stranger. "Why did he have to... What a weirdo!"

Lee watched everything that was going on a little warily noticing Hibiki's grave he frowned. 'What's going on?' Suddenly he wasn't to sure about everything especially considering Hibiki obviously didn't have a family and was dead. He wasn't a ghost like Lee and Elisia though so did that mean they weren't dead? Maybe the whole town was dead and they were alive? No that wouldn't have made any sense. Then a man kicked Hibiki followed by another boy running into the man and trying to hit him only to be kicked as well. Ignoring everyone else Lee glared at Hei feeling angry at him for kicking Hibiki then the other kid so ruthlessly. "Quit hitting them you big bully! If you don't I'll..I'll..I'll h-h-hit you!" Whether Hei could see him and Elisia or not meant very little at the time and he just wanted the stranger to leave them alone. He moved protectively between Hei and the other three though he wasn't too confident. Still he hated bullies. So instead of showing his initial reluctance he put on a determined look and curled his fists into a ball to show he wasn't afraid of the man. At least not very afraid.

Lee felt Hei touch his forehead and felt him self shiver at the touch though he didn't stand down. "Huh? What language are you speaking? You really need to learn modern day lingo. How do you expect to communicate? Through fighting?" Obviously the man didn't understand him so Lee did his best with gestures to show what he was talking about ending it with a punch or two in the air. Still the man hadn't hit him so Lee unclenched his fists though he didn't move out of the way at all. When the man spoke up again Lee looked at him confused wishing that he knew what the man was saying. Seeing the serious look on Hei's face however he back up a few steps but still stayed in front of the others.

"Yet another being who resorts to crude hand gestures to communicate." Hei smirked and looked at the others. There was nothing left for him here as it seemed everyone was more concerned with other things than proving themselves. Hei found this odd, and thus found hem boring. "We have grown bored. We take our leave now." Hei prodded Elisia's chest with his fingers, then walked off, back towards the city.
