Jager shifted to the left as the forces behind the shadows grabbed at it. Not just its legs this time, but everywhere. It hissed, snapping at either side, as if it could bite the shadows into pieces. A paw raised swiping at them briefly, but withdrawing before the leg could extend long enough to be grabbed.
Why do you not let me remember? The organoid replied at first, but his attention was quickly shifted to the more important, more critical statement She had made earlier.
What Judgement shall you pass? Edge, Primoris, spoke steadily, the oldness in his mental voice somehow more apparent when speaking to Her. Currently, he was debating. Jager was no longer in condition to move well, let alone fight. Kai would not survive if he drew this out longer, despite their bond which ran far deeper than the human yet realized.
Kai herself was in somewhat of a trance, stuck between her opened bond with Edge, the surrealism of her current situation, and the nightmarish memories that kept resurging to the surface of her conciousness.
This has been one heck of a day.

The organoid remained silent for a moment. In its silence the shadows begun to back away leaving the Jager to a circle of nothing. -The world will regret forgetting about MY presence.- The Executioner hissed.
The Jury stomped its feet and made another charge for the Jager with its head lowered. Impact seemed as though it would come from all sides again, but in a slight moment Edge would be able to sense Nick briefly to the right. The feeling would fade quickly, but it was unquestionable. -Get out of here now... Not the time yet...- Were the only words she managed to get through before the presence of the Executioner and Judge overpowered the soft spoken words.
Fire erupted all around the trio, blazing red hot fire came through the cracks of the ground as the ZOID approached. The ZOID would feel no injury of it, but the fog now seemed to have a stronger hold on the mind with her presence so close. To the mind the fire was real, and unbearably hot.

Jager continued to move backwards, tail swaying in frustration and irritation that his movements were so hindered. Edge pulled the zoid around to face the incoming Jury, twisting the Jager as the Jury and Executioner were just upon them so that the primary weight of the attack would run into the left side blade.
Edge had no doubt the blade would snap when there would be no give against the impossibly strong armor of the fragile-looking Jury, but it would provide some cushion- albeit not much- to the inevitable impact.
Time leaves the minds of humans and zoids alike blurry and forgetful. The black draconic organoid replied, though the fury in his voice was uncommonly dulled and withdrawn. It was as if Edge didn't want to be angry at the Executioner.
She held answers he wanted.
Kai gasped at the heat, her head throbbed, and her skin felt as if it would melt off her bones and muscles at any moment. But her mouth still muttered the same words Edge spoke, even though to what he was relpying she couldn't hear.

-They purposely forgot me child.- The Executioner hissed as the Jury slammed into the side blade of the Jager. Its bony arms and scythes reached around again to pin the ZOID to the ground.
This was not good for the pilot or the ZOID. The executioner was now done toying with the trio, her intentions were clear from what Edge could feel from the fog. Death, -she- wanted all three of them dead and her will for that wish was incredibly powerful.
Nick screamed as she too felt that intention. Her mind was still lost in that nightmare, yet mindlessly she again pulled back on the controls causing the Jury to hesitate in its motions. Nick's bloodcurdling scream echoed over the com-link and loudly through the fog. In the instant of the scream the illusion fire turned into ice and slowly begun to melt away.
The Jury reared again and begun to stomp about wildly. Its movements were unpredictable as it thrashed about. The Executioner's rage boiled over. Fire shot fourth from Jury's mouth as its head jerked about. If any a time to escape, now would be that window.

I did not purposefully forget you. I answered your call. Edge hissed in return, his mental voice snarling in response to the Executioner's intentions. The feeling of Her desires, Her decisions, were an impressive weight on his conciousness, and it inspired such a rage, it shook the Jager itself.
Jager's side blade snapped, and the zoid was spun slightly from impact and then slammed to the ground, quickly pinned by the bony arms and scythes. Upon the rampage, the armor dented and cracked. Mechanisms ruptured, Jager thrashed, all claws and fangs and lingering side blade glowing in golden laser light with that last fury of battle.
There was no escape. Not for Jager.
Kai was fully bound to Edge to maintain her sanity. Too many memories, too much stress, too many nightmares had enveloped her mind and senses, so she'd let go of herself. There was no defining between them, and each moved without a lull between the other. At the hesitation Nick forced upon the Jury, the Jager in its entirity glowed a brilliant white, and Edge released the zoid's core. The zoid erupted in a heavy cloud of black smoke, destroyed, but the white light shot from the Jager in that last moment, hurtling off into the distance somewhere in the uncharted lands.
You will not have us. Not yet. Primoris' voice came from a distance.
They were gone.

Nick sat there and watched with a grin as Kai and Edge had speed off. The Executioner roared with anger as her prey had gotten away. NO ONE gets away! Nick's eyes flashed with this rage as the executioner melded with her mind. Her 'iron' and grasped the controls tightly, her teeth clenched.
With another roar, this time in Nick's own roar cam in sync with the executioner's.
The scythes dung into the ground again as the Jury hunched over. All four palms begun to glow with the mouth. That deadly white and red orb growing much quicker than before. Within moments the beam was shot at the Jager, tearing the sands to glass and soon tearing into the Jager. Five energy beams left the ground with terrible scars, and left nothing but the mid section of the Jager.
What the Edge had not realized about the Executioner's call, it was not as much her desire for his presence, but rather his desire to accomplish his purpose in life that made the call so strong. Something Kagi and Saga had felt as well. The destruction of the abomination to the world, the Judge and the Executioner. That was their mission, that was why they were made so special.
Nick leaned back in the cockpit in a daze. Her head pounded with the furious voice of the Judge and another presence whom remained silent. The deal was brought up again, but Nick had little awareness to respond to what was being said.
Jury let out a loud banchi like screech before rampaging off deeper into the black fog. The fog behind it receded leaving no trace of the battle. No glass, no foot prints, nothing. Only the harsh feeling of the bare unknown dessert. This would be the beginning of something very terrible...
