Flicker gave Sage a sheepish look. "Aw, but talking sense is no fun! And anyway...hey, wait a sec...anyone else get the feeling we're being watched?"

Hearing the woman's words, he shifted his position so he was hidden behind a tree. the tree would have impaired a normal persons view of the clearing, but with his odd gift, he still had a full view of the people.
Content to wait and watch, he sat upon a root of the tree and waited for Pan's servents to show.

Flicker began to frown. "Uh, I don't know about you guys, but I'm getting a weird nagging feeling from the back of my head, like before that freakish sheperd blew up...we sure that statue is safe? I don't know what else it could be..."

Delilah quickly borrowed the head of a dog and was almost immediately overwhelmed by the smells around the grove. The statue stank of many repulsive smells (to a canine). There was a strange smell- not quite a stench or a whiff, but the strange smell of masculinity different to the smells that the rest of the group smelt of. "There's a man." she whispered, head turned toward the place that her nose told her where the man was.

"Well, crap. Can you tell if he's hostile or not?" Flicker quickly fitted an arrow into her bow, looking around gaurdedly.

Delilah smelt the air. Eeuch! The man smelt salty from sweat that was beaded on his skin. She could hear the quiet panting from the direction of the man, whatever he was, this man was tired. Motioning towards the group to be quieter than quiet, Delilah quietly snuck around the bush.

As he was watching the group, one of them changed suddenly...she was no longer human, but no other creature he'd ever seen before. He watched her sniff around, and then start sneaking to a bush near his hiding spot. Pretty soon she was near enough for him to hear, and he heard her snuffling around like a hound.
He sat still, waiting to see if she would find him.

Jasmine went still, reluctantly putting her hand on the hilt of her sword, watching Delilah sniff around for the unseen man. If it came to a fight, the man was outnumbered. Perhaps the man was a local, and would know the quickest way to the nearest city.

Just as the hound woman was about to find him, a Minotaur shuffled into the grove and bellowed a challenge at the intruders to Pan's sanctuary.
It stomped at the ground and got ready to charge.

Delilah's observations told her that the man was remarkably calm for someone that was about to be trampled by a Man with the head of a bull. Delilah growled at the creature than warned the others that there was a danger here. The Minotaur, for that was what Delilah learnt it was called later, bellowed at Delilah and charged. Thinking on her feet, Delilah decided to sidestep at the crucial moment between goring and escape.

Sage frowned slightly before she created a bow dropping the mirage on her hair. She aimed the bow waiting for word that Delilah might need help or when she got a shot.

The creature that Delilah had dived away from had caught her right arm as she passed it with its arms. Effectively, having been swatted away, Delilah made efforts to draw the minotaur away from the undefendable group. Delilah threw stones and sticks at the Minotaur, only succeeding in making it mad. "Oh my G..." she said as the angered minotaur charged at her and caught her on its lowered head.

Sage frowned when she saw the Minotaur catch Delilah. She was a good enough shot but she wasn't planning on shooting when that thing had Delilah. Sage wasn't going to take any chances. " Flicker Jasmine can either of you shoot that thing if I create a weapon you can use for it?"

The hound woman was in trouble. He wasnt going to lift a finger, not wanting to risk angering pan while he was walking through his forest. But something in the back of his mind urged him to save these humans, as if they were people he knew from a long time ago...
Making his decision, he stepped from behind the tree and hurled his spear into the back of the minotuar. It struck and sank into its spine, causing him to bellow in anger. Placing his helmet on his head, the warrior drew his sword and planted his feet behind his shield.
The minotuar dropped the woman roughly onto the ground, and charged at him. Just before it struck, the warrior tilted his shield into its stomach, and flipped it over his head. It didnt fly very far, but flopped onto its back.
When it tried to get up, the warrior brought his sword around and struck the creature in the eye, blinding it there. It lay on the ground, groaning in pain.
The warrior went over, and pulled the spear out of it, and kicked it in the nose to knock it unconscious. Using his spear, he guided himself over to the hound woman and her friends.

Delilah's first reaction was that of blind red pain. The minotaur had gored her left thigh deep. Slightly delirious with the pain, Delilah had clobbered the beast's head with her hand. The minoataur had yanked her off it's horn and flung Delilah onto the floor like a rag doll.
