she let go instantly after saying 'don't break it, my grandmother gave it to me before she died' however rather than jumping back she blocked both with a very unexpected move.
"chakra no mesu, chakra scalple. if enough chakra is put into it, and if the user has enough controle, you can turn them almost into swords, and like all medical nin, my controle is to an exact point. i can maintain both scalples for a record of three hours. so yes, know thy enemy, but aside from that, expect, the unexpected. trust me, this will be a fight you won't soon forget." inside though she was thinking something else. ~I've already used five of my moves i have to wrap this up quickly. i do not wish to loose a battle. however i can use being at such a close range to my advantage. however i'll have to act fast.~

Respect gets you a lot in this world... Edward grinned, he was enjoying himself in this fight like he had not in a long time! The inky darkness that had spilled from his collar formed into the armored figure of a woman, her arms holding the staff casually, spinning it to become accustomed to the heft of the weapon. Edward activated another jutsu, this time creating a shield of lightning over his left arm as he swung the Soul Shortsword in his other hand.
"I'm of the Spirit Partner clan. This is a useful ability of mine, the Soul Shortsword. It's similiar to your Chakra Scalpels, in that it is compressed chakra, honed with fine control. And this, is Gantoy, my Spirit Partner. You're the first person to have seen her manifest in a long time young lass, truly an accomplishment. Now then, shall we move on to the next phase?" He grinned at her, his muscles tensing inside his clothing, anticipating another attack. Are you worthy of it?

she glared from behind her mask at Gantoy.
"just don't break that. it's a very important item to me." and that was all she really had to say. she was of no particular clan, just a medic that worked harder than anyone to be better than everyone. nothing really all that special about her. so usually she avoided all of that clan stuff it got to complicated to track who hated who, and what clan claimed to be what. too messy for her, she just really never felt like messing with it. she jumped back a bit, breaking the connection between the scalples and the swords. "clans are so... messy so tidious. so i try to avoid them. to think you're up against a shinobi that hails from no clan, with absolutly nothing different about her. just your normal medic that worked her a** of to be better than all the others. long hours training, late nights practicing, early mornings trying to maintain controle, with nothing but determanation, and stubborn stupidity to not back down. this is the first time i've had a full on fight with someone in over five years, and the first time i've used my chakra in three years, my stores of chakra are far higher than your average ANBU, so watch your back with me, i am not one to be underestemated."
it was all true too. for her, she was very rusty with her fighting style, but had she not said a word, no one would have noticed. she was fierce and direct, and now she had stalled just long enough to gain full controle of her body again.
"and you just helped me buy enough time for my body to compleatly recover from the nervous shock you gave me. thank you for that." she smirked her sly smirk behind her mask. this time around, things would be getting fun.

Edward grinned wider under his mask.
"Good, good! I haven't fought in several years young lass. And as for Gantoy here, she.... members of my clan slowly go insane throughout their youth. It's only once we achieve the stablizing effect of our Spirit Partners that we regain that sanity. Gantoy saved me, and while I don't normally fight with her, she told me that you intrigue her. And that, is rather hard to do. But, you say that you've recovered from your shock? Well then, good! I can't very well give you time to heal from the physical damage. And so you know: I respect those who earn their strength far more than clan jockeys like myself." With that, the man sprung forward incredibly fast, the blade coming in to sweep at her feet even as Gantoy hung back, the staff ready to defend.
Are you worthy of it? ((Ahh hell, I've got to log. Kami forsaken storms are screwing with my internet connection. This fight is FUN!))

Deza smiled from behind her mask. she had been awaiting an attack. she swiftly jumped, pushing herself forward, and using the momentem to use his shoulders to spring her over his head and avoid the attack. she did not make a move to attack him back, simply dodged the attack he threw at her. as was standard Deza behavior. By most standards she was a pasifist, however even now she was finding herself getting into the swing of things once more. she had always looked at fighting as more of a dance. each move conured to that of her opponent, one step forward was one step to the side, back or forward in return, one wrong move, and it could be over.

((^_^ glad I had this arranged. You both are doing well and Silver your rp skills are very good from what I am seeing. Ronnel I hope you wouldn't mind becoming a member of anbu or something like that. But silver again good job. I expect many things from you two ^_^. Good night))

Respect gets you a lot in this world... As the girl flipped over Edward's shoulders, he realized she had forgotten the fact that she was fighting two people not just one.
Gantoy struck at Deza using the staff as she flipped psat, not a serious blow, but considering she was already in motion over Edward's body, it was unlikely she would be able to dodge. The strike would hit her knee, shoving it just enough out of place that if she tried any fast movements, she would throw it out of place.
Edward rolled forward after he felt Gantoy swing. He came up on his feet, spinning around to face the first foe he had fought in years who truly had him enjoying the fight.
"Whatever else comes of this, I shall not regret it!" He cried out with a grin as he faced her.
((Uh, not a problem except for the fact that ANBU would be a downgrade. And I don't know the rules on reducing an RPC's power.... ooo! Could I be a Sannin ANBU? Hehe.)) Are you worthy of it?

Ez took the hit, landing painfully on her leg. She let out a small yelp as she landed.
"nandeo! That hurt!" she would have to be more careful now. She formed swift hand seals and forced another water encampment wall only to form more hand seals and focus her chakra to her hand. Mistic hand technique was important for ALL medics. However it would be a bit till she could use full function not to mention the extra time it would take from her also maintaining her defencive wall.

Respect gets you a lot in this world... Edward grinned and formed a Water Reflection clone, and had it form a Mizu Yaiba. He pulled Gantoy back inside his shirt, then henge'd the staff to be a random piece of debris on the ground. Then he formed his own Mizu Yaiba. He grinned again at his clone, then the two took off around the opposite ends of the Suijinheki, coming at Deza from two different sides. She would have no way of knowing which one was the real one, or if the second was more than just a normal Bunshin created while he was holding a Water sword. Running at her left side, Edward smiled in his mind at the sheer thrill of a good fight. Are you worthy of it?

she couldn't finish her healing jutsu, she didn't have the time. She growled as she dropped her wall and changed the ballence in her hands to change her healing jutsu to scalples. She boosted the chakra and attacked........ The wrong one. However at this point it would be too late seeing as she had her back to the REAL opponent. She had lost.

Respect gets you a lot in this world... Edward tackled her from behind, the water reflection clone knocking her hand with chakra scalpels away. His hand snaked up and pulled her mask off, remembering the agreement they had. Then he realized where he was and hastily scrambled off of her, muttering an apology.
He held her mask in his hand as he looked down at her, ready to offer a hand up knowing that her leg was still damaged. Are you worthy of it?

she squeaked in suprise as she was tackled, and as her loved mask was taken from her her hair unfortunately was free to fall in her face. she sighed in defete. she shook her head to get some of her hair out of her eyes. she then turned her signature sweet healers smile on him.
"iie no don't worry about it it was a good fight. I had fun with it." she replied cheerfully. She formed hand seals and began fixing her leg again. Even once done it would be a while till fully healed. She let him help her up."and please, call me Ez."

Respect gets you a lot in this world... He carefully pushed her hair out of the way and slid the mask back into place as he smiled slightly.
"Interesting. And you can call me Ed. I must say, that was the best fight I've had in quite a while Miss Ez. Look forward to a rematch, though next time... don't hold back." He grinned lightly as he stepped back. "And since I believe in fairness..." one hand reached up and tugged the half mask down, letting her see the smile on his face. " Then it's only right that you see what I keep hidden as well." That said, he slipped the mask back up into place and winked at her. Are you worthy of it?
