Hyuuga Atsureki

Atsureki followed quickly behind Sai, the trip starting to take its toll on him as they left the chakra forest. As they came across the creek Atsureki just managed to jump over it when he heard Sai's warning. With wide eyes Atsureki looked back at the creek, he would have to remember that.

As they finally reached the true entrance to the base, Atsureki stared up in wonder as the wall split open to reveal the inside of the base. Heeding Sai's warning Atsureki followed quickly behind, getting smashed by a rock did not sound like a fun way to go. As the entrance closed once more Atsureki looked up at Sai and asked, "So what happens next?"

A spray of mist appeared in front of the mountainside as the fine particles of the water began to swirl and coalesce into a figure. within a few seconds, Sai could be seen, standing in front of the mountainside before scanning his ring and entering the base, walking inside as the walls shut behind him with a crash. Sai had already read the majority of the Hyuuga scrolls and thanks to the absorbed memories of the master, he understood them all with great detail, especially in how to instruct others in the techniques.

Having a great knowledge of the Byakugan's ability and the unique Hyuuga jutsu made Sai somewhat jealous of the abilities himself, but at the very least, Atsureki would learn them and as his student and newest recruit, Sai would effectively have access to the abilities. With that thought, Sai immediately made his way to the Training Cavern, where he assumed Atsureki would be, hopefully working on his jutsu training and putting his time to good use.

Akio exited the Akatsuki complex, and as the rumbling stone shifted back into place, he was off. Easily dodging the traps that lay in wait around the base he sped his way off to his first destination; the village of Mist.

He did not bear the Akatsuki robes or his headband as to not give away his identity.

Akio approached the base, having been in stealth for quite a while now; he didn't want to be followed by anyone. He didn't think they could afford to lose the base even if they could then retreat to Kirigakure for refuge; it held too many important things.

As he got closer he spotted a boy by the entrance, and upon getting even closer he spotted an Akatsuki ring in the boy's possession.

A new recruit I hope

In a flash Akio sped up behind the boy, silently, still cloaked in wind and shadows and grabbed the boy's hands lifting them above his head, and nesting his chin on the youth's right shoulder.

"We have a new member!" said Akio as he melted into view from nothingness, with a twisted grin on face, and a demonic look in his eyes.

"Or perhaps, an intruder-der-der, heehee!"

"Akio." Sai stated plainly as he showed up on the scene, attempting to diffuse the situation before one could occur. He was the only one of any of them who was wearing the Akatsuki garb, but it seemed to give him a more commanding presence at the scene. He had made haste to arrive to the scene on time, so Zenko arrived shortly after him jsut as he began speaking..."Akio, this is Atsureki... he's a new recruit, a former Sand-nin and member of the Hyuuga Clan."

"And she is Zenko." Another new recruit, whom I have just recruited... "She and I share many qualities." Sai gave the words a few moments to linger, allowing everyone at least a few seconds to take a look at and size each other up before continuing on... "It's time we had a meeting... Atsureki, open the entrance."

Akio untangled himself from the Hyuuga, and gave him and the new girl a quick look over before winking at Sai.

"A meeting will be good, I have some information to discuss, then maybe I'll finally get a chance to rest; even birds get tired of flying" said Akio as he stretched out his arms and and yawned, cracking his shoulders in the process.

"Oh, and Astureki-boy, everyone can be killed, and anyone can loot a corpse for a ring"

Not wanting to waste any time with warnings or descriptions, Sai gently took Zenko's arm as he led her to the entrance way and into the dark corridor behind Atsureki, not wanting to dawdle for too long due to the speed which with the door would close behind them. gentle guiding her to walk in front of him, Sai released her arm, as they walked forward into the corridor, Atsureki leading the way to the Meeting Room as he navigated the now familiar passageways with ease.

"You will receive a ring just like ours in a bit Zenko, and it will allow you access to the base as you have just seen. Be careful with the entrance though... it closes after only about 15 seconds of being open, which is why I so quickly guided you inside. The meeting room is just up ahead. Since we are all here, it is the opportune time to sit down and discuss our next move." continuing the rest of the way in silence, Sai watched Zenko turn the familiar left corner, following Atsureki closely as they began to come up on the meeting room.
