History:
The son of a poorer family Brishen learned from a young age to take care of himself. His father often traveled and left him and his brothers in the care of their sickly mother. In order to keep himself and everyone else alive he started working young and has always kept a meticulous hold on their money and supplies.
Then with their mother’s death and their father’s disappearance Brishen found himself in care of yet another family member, Camlo. Despite the first thought of abandoning the strange cervitaur who was apparently his half-brother, Brishen couldn’t leave his blood alone and took Camlo along with him as he left town and began to travel in order to find a better trade and a better life.
He was after all fond of a life with money. Because money didn’t cheat on you and was what most of the world wanted anyway. He understood it much better than relations.
Personality: Brishen is a very money minded cervitaur who focuses more on the logic of the world and trade rather than on the emotions of others. Camlo is the opposite of him as where his brother helps anyone with a smile, Brishen will help anyone with a smile for a fee. To him everything in life costs money and that is what keeps the world going round.
Often he can be found reading through records and other such articles in a shade by himself.

History:
The secret son of a wealthy family, Camlo’s fate was messed up the day that his blood father decided to betray his mate’s trust. The cervitaur that he had the stand with, however, came from a wealthy family which was dismayed to see that their daughter who they had hoped to engage with another family’s son was pregnant.
At first they took care of the child in secret, hiding him away from outside eyes. This time period Camlo remembers with love as his mother was a beautiful female full of light and love. Her sorrow at losing his father and at having to hide her own child, however, often marred her face. Eventually a new engagement was set and so in order to hide Camlo away they separated mother and son tossing him back to the streets at his poor father.
Since then Camlo was raised mostly by his oldest half-brother Brishen and has taken to being a traveler who lives on the mercy and kindness of others for his trade of being a mysterious gentleman who opens the way for his brothers to make pay.
Personality: He’s a very light hearted soul who despite his sorrowful past holds onto a bright smile. His charm for wooing the ladies is notorious and like his brothers he may be a bit of a rogue. Never really settling down has kept him alive with adventures and this gentleman is gifted in the art of story-telling. Because he had already lost that which tied him down he tends to be brave and very charismatic in any situation.

 History:
Ever since she was a child Miyuki was raised differently from the rest of her clan. Unlike her younger cousin Aura who was born as the clan leader’s daughter and possible heir Miyuki was cursed to have been born under a shadow moon on a day of winter. It was because of this that despite her high ranking blood in the clan that the cervitaur was set apart to become a winter warrior. Trained in solitude and taught to embrace ice she became an outcast of her own home.
The only one who braved to try and reach out to the isolated cervitaur was her cousin, Aura, who originally Miyuki despised with a passion due to the differences in their births and fates. Eventually Miyuki broke away in a protest of her fate and disappeared on an adventure away from her home. Still it was when war broke out and the clan was in danger that she rose to the challenge and fought for her family. With the help of a rugged foxtaur named Xennek who had become her friend somehow through her travels she came back to save her family. Taking Aura and their youngest cousin, Arian, she fled from the north and now has settled in the warmer forests of the isles with her two cousins.
Personality: A very work oriented cervitaur who is not afraid of showing her strength. As she was raised in the way of a warrior and without much company Miyuki tends to be more rough around the edges and has no “lady graces” like her cousin. Emotions are hard for her to express as well and she would rather just punch a fellow on the shoulder than cry or embrace anyone.
She doesn’t mind a brawl or hanging around the tavern for a pint or two.

 History:
Like her cousin Miyuki, Aura was born to a fate separate from that of most of her clan. As the daughter of the leader she was expected to become the next heir for the longest time and as such was raised to have the graces and knowledge of a leader. Even when Arian was born and as a male was expected to take over the role of heir she was raised as a lady to be married off to a neighboring clan. Like Miyuki she felt trapped in her role and was jealous to see that her older cousin could actually manage to be bold enough to leave the clan to seek out her own destiny.
Aura always wished that she had the courage to be like Miyuki back then…but instead she had held to loving her cousin and despite the bruises and the fights that each visit brought her the young lady was happy to be able to just see Miyuki’s face. When the neighboring clan tried to kidnap her and betray the trust of her home village war broke out and Aura was at a lost for what to do. For the first time she had to fight on her own with Yuki as the winter warrior had left them.
Fighting for the first time in her life, she had to kill a taur in order to save the life of her younger brother. It was through that shock that she was saved by Xennek and Miyuki that bloody night. Now she lives peacefully in the forest, content to live as she pleases rather than by the code of the clan. Never again will she ever look at a weapon either, as she chose to never shed another's blood again.
Personality: Aura is a very graceful lady who speaks quietly and is embarrassed easily. She has a kind heart, however, and a loving smile as if she radiates a light into the world. She is very tender hearted and always eager to help others out when they are in need. Unlike her two cousins she refuses to learn the fighting ways and would much rather pass time with crafts or baking.

History:
The second child of the clan leader, Arian was chosen to be the heir since his sister as a female was not always looked fondly on by tradition. While he took over her role of learning to be heir the young child was confused about why tradition played such a huge role. He would have much rather played with the other children his age and learned to fight more so than to lead. Secretly he often snuck out with his older sister on her trips to see their cousin until Miyuki chose to leave them.
Then he was the only one who stayed true to Aura’s side during the time of engagement and angering their father and the council refused to see the other clan with trust. Something that he wished he had pushed more as the truth came out and he found his sister nearly stolen by the other village. As war broke out he was just a young teen and found that he could not stand alone against the true warriors sent after him and his sister. Ever since having been saved by Aura and Miyuki, Arian swore that he would learn how to fight like his cousin so that he would never have to see his sister be traumatized by another’s blood on her hands again.
After leaving the north to travel the isles he found himself as an apprentice to his cousin Miyuki. Then as an adult he found love and now lives in the forest with his mate, Evi, and their children.
Personality: Arian started out as an arrogant teen that mellowed out with age. Still his temper does still flare when those he loves are in danger, but normally his childhood training to be a leader keeps the short temper on a leash. He is very quiet and thoughtful at times and can easily spend the evening away training in the fields. Hard physical labor is nothing to him and he would much rather have to chop wood underneath the hot sun than read maps and other works.
He can also be seen as very strong headed and determined.

History/Info: From a long line of hunters Kallan has stayed true to tradition and lives on the outskirts of the forest. Like his father before him he can disappear into the depths of the woods for days even weeks at a time and hasn't really bothered with anyone save himself. Ever since he lost his mother in a hunting accident the cervitaur has been wary of females wandering into the darker parts of the woods by themselves. Being a traditional masculine male he finds the woods a place of solace which females should not interrupt. Their presence in his life, especially in the woods, is too dangerous and disruptive.
Personality: He tries his hardest to appear as a stoic by separating himself from others, but in the end cannot resist helping someone in need. However, his complaints once saving someone will be nonstop the whole time. He is also very stubborn and competitive and especially, especially, hates to see females trying to do his work. (A bit of a sexist, really!)
Likes: The woods (being there relaxes him...that is when he is alone), hunting, training, knives, storms, and the sunrise.(Seeing the sunrise means he's lived to see another day.)
Dislikes: Ghost stories! (He tries his hardest to protest believing in such things, but becomes so jumpy in the darkest parts of the woods) Females in his way, busy bodies, crowds, having to stay still for long, and being stuck in small places.

 History:
A daughter of a loving pair Audrey has always known love and happiness. Despite her father's oddness about his own past and family she has learned to never ask questions about what happened in the north. While she prefers the arts she still learned the importance of always carrying a dagger on her and can defend herself if need be.
Personality: She’s a very sweet soul who is open to any stranger. Oddly enough she feels no fear in most situations and where some would expect her to be a lady she still turns out to be a bit of a tomboy at heart. Always trying to save things as well, even the tiniest of insects can catch her attention as she’ll push them out of danger and help flip even a beetle back on it’s feet.
Centipedes, however, freak her out and make her scurry away.

History:
Raised in an upper class family of nagas, Yuna was raised with the finer things of life and has always known the feel of silk on her skin. When she was a teen Yuna's memories went foggy, but the one thing she remembers is hiding around in a cave always looking out for the incoming tide with her family. After waking up with only the foggiest of memories she found herself alone in the forest. Since then the naga traveled about always looking for something interesting to do. (She hated when everything is plain and boring) Her love was for some of the darkest things, such as blood, fighting, and manipulation. Not that she still does the former....much since finding her beloved mate.
Now she lives in a forest area with Youma and is starting to see the world in a broader sense of pride.

History: A naga who hadn't really found her place amongst others, Harley tends to be unique dreamer. Her goal in life is one day go on an epic quest and maybe to even meet more of her kind. But not nagas like those from her family who kill for fun, including their own kind. Rather she hopes to meet other nagas who aren't twisted and have hearts unlike what the other species believe.
And right now since she isn't one to listen to others, but to make up her own thoughts...Harley doesn't know what to think about those who aren't a naga. Since she really hasn't meet any that is. But she believes that she'll make up her mind after any encounter.

 History:
In the dark parts of naga society poisons were valuable. Saniya comes from those shadows and as a young child was raised with the knowledge of how to best maim and contort the internal structures of others. For her creating a poison with no remedy is the best pleasure, especially if it works slow and long on the victim. Experimental and delighted by blood the naga ventured away from her family in order to have more freedom on the types of subjects that she could inflict with pain.
All that others know of her however is if you see the blood red naga then run. She lives in the shadows and feeds on the pain and misery of others…
Personality: A dark naga female who has a very twisted mind. The pain and suffering of others amuses her while the taste of blood is far better than any sweet. She will keep you alive, however, so that she can experiment on new poisons. The only remedy for most though is death.

He also hates being out in the open and loves slithering through trees where he can blend in better so he can be more alone. Kain is a syrin with the tendency to be a ladies man who comes from the far southern seas. His fellow syrins from that area tend to be craftsmen who can make any type of jewelry imaginable.
Kian used to be such a trouble maker and was often caught in fights with other male syrins for flirting with their gals. One day he met Damien and decided to follow him around. The two have hints that they might be cousins, but often ignore family love for favor of their endless arguments. Now that he has met Autumn, the syrin has been tempted to seriously settle down with her.

 History/Info: A love child of Kian and Autumn. Ashoun grew up in warmer waters in her father's southern ocean. Personality: A tomboy all the way. Ashoun doesn't really bother with her appearance and often has seaweed and other random flowers and things that latch onto her while she's swimming. A syrin that raised himself along with help from Willow and Xylia in the meadow. Damien is now a traveler of the seas, though for a time he actually did settle down. Sadly enough, the syrin that was his mate disappeared after a miscarriage.
Now he has come back from hiding and spends a lot of time with his cousin, Kian.
Personality: After all the sad events in his life the syrin has become distant. Lovable, but tinged in sorrow. Damien looks like a lost puppy at times when you catch him off guard. Usually he tries to remain cheery and light despite his serious nature.

History/Info: New to this area of sea, Samaki hasn't gotten out to meet that many yet. So far he knows a dolphin and about her daughter, Amari. He likes to swim around and sometimes even tries to act more manly around others. But those who know him know him as a sweet, caring, and a bit sensitive seahorse. Samaki loves to move about the undersea reefs and even lives right there in the reefs.
Physical Note: Samaki is smaller than your average syrin and is always clinging to something, preferably reefs or strong kelp. His voice is always soft and feminine as well.
Personality: A smart guy who tends to be more shy and reserved until you get to know him. Still he's sweet and lovable with a kind heart.
