{1/1 Water Manipulation}

Tara nodded her head, her azure blue eyes following Edward's hands as he went through the seals. Simply from the name, she understood what she needed to do. Tara's hands met together, smoothly forming the seals as she applied chakra, feeling the draw. Her face was focused, intent on her objective. Tara concentrated on the snow, 'grabbing' the moisture and raising it to the air. Small balls of water formed, collecting in the air. She changed their shape, from squares, to triangles, and odd figures. Then. Tara concentrated on forming the water into ice, snow, and then boiling it. Once she had her fun, Tara ended the jutsu, dropping the water back to the snow.

Tara turned once the Water Clone tapped her. Her eyes locked with Edwards as she raised an eyebrow. She was eager to learn, and eager to raise to the ranks of an Oinin. It had been her life long dream to become a Hunter.

{1/1 Water Clone}

Tara understood that he wanted her to perform the seals, but he had failed to explain what exactly would happen after the seals were formed. She waited for a moment, seeing if Edward was going to continue speaking. When he hadn't, she began to think; they didn't call her a Prodigy for nothing. *He wants me to find out for myself...a test perhaps...?* Tara's mind whirred as she looked at her options. She tried to recall what exactly were the basic jutsu for water she hadn't done yet. A kid-worthy jutsu, and the water clone technique. Tara didn't think a Kage would teach an aspiring student such a kiddy technique, and therefore took the latter. Just to be sure, Tara extended her mind, checking the chakra level of the clone. As she suspected, it was incredibly low compared to what the Kage's was when she first met him. Tara performed the seals flawlessly, and extended her chakra. Using the surrounding snow, she began to form a mass of water the same shape and height as she. Tara used her chakra to bring about the perfect skin tone, hair color, eyes, mouth, etc, and then began to work on the clothes. In a matter of moments, the water clone was complete, and was an exact copy of her. The entire thought process took a few moments, perhaps 2 minutes or so. She glanced around, turning to find the real Edward.

Tara watched intently, taking in everything as the Water Shuriken left the clone, and embedded itself in a tree. She focused on the seals, running her hands through them a few times to make sure she had a firm grasp on them. Tara then started the first half of the jutsu, collecting water from the snow around them. The cold weather was providing a powerful ally to her at the moment. 2 blobs of water rose from the snow, floating in the air.

{2/2 Water Shuriken}

Tara began to form the blobs into shuriken, using chakra to mold the substances into the proper shape. The shuriken launched themselves forth, slamming into a tree, leaving two clean cuts. Tara performed the seals once more, swiftly and perfectly. Instead of having to gather water ahead of time, which would indeed slow her down in the need of battle. The shuriken, this time, launched from the snow, without a warning at all. They slammed into the tree, leaving 3 cuts.

Tara turned to face Edward. her blue eyes looking light in the snow. "Offensive. I wish to become an Oinin in the near future, so tracking and attacking skills will become a necessity." Her voice was smooth, like honey. It was as if she would be able to coax an elephant to learn to fly.
