I can't believe we've gone this long without one! This isn'T even a suggestion, its a priority! We need a theme song! Everything great has one! Even Pepto-Bismal has one! And believe me, this guild is great! We need a theme song! Any songwriters here? I stink at rhyming...

Tyran Brandywine oh i know. I intend to organize them (if i'm not around then Vorty, Shock, or Shaolin will help out), but I just like halloween a whole lot..... and i just want it to be october already crying The next event will be an edit jam/contest. It'll be for the home page banner(contest portion) and guild uniforms (edit jam portion). I'll start it after the toga party is closed. ooh... uniforms... *rubs hands together*

Potto The Magnificent I think I speak for everyone when I say that Tyran Brandywine's Toga Party was a great success! Thats why I thought of making a list of potential party ideas for the future. Post your ideas here, and I'll add it to the list. The ones in read are ones already done. SPECIAL DAYS PARTIES Thanksgiving Christmas Halloween Pottoween (which is not, I repeat IS NOT a false holiday I invented to get more candy off the people on my block ninja ) April Fools Friday the 13th (Superticious party) Valentine's day New Year's eve/Chinese New year's Eve St-Patrick's day Easter Victoria Day (Dress like Kings/Queen) Guild's Birthday Other Ideas Toga PartyNerdy Sci-fi convention party Opposite Day Pyjama day Pirate Day Note: These are only ideas, so that if someone were to really like it, they can start the party! I'm not saying that any of these are mandatory. We need one for Winter-een-mas

Perhaps we can make a Guild History thread? We can use it as an archive of sorts to keep our events alive in our memories~ ^_^ For example, we can start it off with a post listing the "birthday" of the guild and its first banner, and in the next post, display a collage of all the Toga Party edits.
I love that Japanese holiday idea (of course~ XD)...perhaps we can do a cherry blossom festival edit jam? A Renaissance Faire or Medieval Times edit jam would be fun, unless it's too redundant with Victoria's Day already on the list. ^^;
And I'm sorry I haven't been here very much. Life is so busy! ;_; I will try to be more active.

A Guild History thread sounds nice, but we'll probably only need one later one when we have more events 3nodding Japanese idea seems cool too. We can always have different country themes too. I was also thinking we can do something relating to the Gaia NPC's.
NPC relatives (Gino's more successful older sister Gambi)
NPC's wearing different clothes (Punk Rock Ian)
NPC's that didn't make the cut (Jack the Barton bum)
Some kind of contest to make those would be fun 3nodding

~about the NPC thing....lol...funny thing is...there's one about to start elsewhere on gaia I am helping out with lol. The gal who runs the NPC FAQ in extended feedback is going to hold a contest for avvy edits of NPCs who dont yet have official sprites and related things like that. It has prizes involved if anyone here is interested in submitting avvy edits and participating in it..... other than that I dont really want to make much of a formal announcement about it cuz, one its not up yet, and two, one of the avvy editors i spoke to already about it felt that such a contest was rude to the admins and their creative team........

okie..the guild banner uniform contest/jam is going slowly, and i know i havent even had a chance to submit yet cuz it is still early in the month......and that's probably the case with others.... but it still worries me cuz it's not as popular as the Toga party...... sweatdrop
but it has recently come to my attention that there's a large need for halloween themed edits by the Gaian Photo project.
I was wondering if we should start the halloween jam early because I have a feeling that one will be a great deal more popular......and we can let it run to the end of october.......and keep the banner/uniform one still going because its important for the homepage.....
what does everyone else think?
