Indrid grabbed her hand and led her to where he was. He let go quickly. "Er..sorry, its just important." When he got there, Sin was gone. "What the hell?" All he saw was mist. He looked up toward the base and barely saw Sin shoved a guard. He sighed, and motioned for Syd to follow. He climbed up the ladder, looking back ever so often to make sure she was alright.

J'valia stood up slowly. She never understood wy people ran.. they always ran... she had always dismpissed it as a persons nature. She wobled in place, and thent turned, looking for Indrid. She saw him, and muttered. "I'm feeling rediculously tired.... I'll be in my room if anyone needs me. She walked, and then flew to the entrance to the base. She walked through the corridors slowly, and finally made it to her room. She set the scythe down gently on the floor, and then wnet and curled up in her blankets. She was asleep after a few moments.

Before she even had a chance to rebuke Indrid for taking off without telling where they had gone, he grabbed her by the wrist. "Ack!" Syd cried out as Indrid began pulling her along. "Slow down, dammit! You don't have to pull on me!" she shouted. She had only just barely finished shouting at Indrid by the time they got to where Sin had been.
When they found Sin to be gone though, Sydney was about to complain when Indrid motioned for her to follow him back up to the base. "Good lord! I can't believe I'm being dragged around like this without knowing what the heck's going on!" she complained before sprouting her wings and lifting herself up past Indrid to land on the floor of the base to wait for the nephillim to catch up.

((Off for the night as well. Will post tomorrow.))
Sin stared up at his ceiling in shame. He completely abandoned his friends. He knew he could control his other side. He just lost control for a few moments. He felt bad for it though. He decided he'd apologize. But not now. He had too much on his mind. A few minutes past before he got back up. He sighed, and teleported to the roof of the base, where he perched and looked over the land. He sighed, spreading the clouds around to clear the sky so he could see the moon. It was full and beautiful. It was there, Sin sat and thought. He thought about the future. He thought about the past. And most of all, he thought about what had happened in Netherworld a few minutes ago.

Indrid used the remaining energy in his wings to fly up. "Dammit." he cursed. "He's not here!" he said and he looked up and saw a mist forming on top of the base. He looked better, so he would wait. "Want me to explain first or want to help him?" he said, practically out of breath.

When Indrid caught up, Sydney had her arms folded across her chest. She appeared, to all intents and purposes, really very annoyed and rather impatient for lack of better phrasing. "It would be nice to have an explanation as to why I'm running around on a wild goose chase after a Cambion who can teleport." Syd replied flatly in answer to Indrid's question. She could tell her was a little tired, perhaps from using too much of his energy recently. But Syd wasn't really in the mood to deal with that right now.

"Well we ran into the portal to The Netherworld because the halfbreed saw them massing so when we were in there Sin went in the base and saw something when he came out we got attacked and he lost control or something and we followed him here." He took a deep breath. That was a lot to say, and he did it quickly.

((Just going to let you know now: My internet will die in about 10 minutes (around 12:15am EST). So this might be my last post for the night.))
Sydney somehow managed to follow every step of Indrid's run-on sentence of an explanation. She didn't quite grasp how the nephilim managed it with how tired he seemed, but Syd wasn't about to ask any questions to make her sound stupid. "I see. It would have been nice to know where you were going BEFORE you guys left..." Syd replied with a small and annoyed sounding sigh.

"We assumed you were asleep. Besides, we already had a team. It was dangerous, and with your injury...well we didn't want to cause you another." he said, looking down at the floor, which was now become covered in snow. He looked up. The storm was coming back. "Are you cold?" he asked, heating his body up incase she said yes.
(good night in advance)

((thanks. sorry for any inconvenience this might cause in the future.))
"What?" Syd asked, giving Indrid a puzzled look at his question. "No. I'm fine." she replied finally. That question had distracted her enough to keep her from complaining about being kept out of the action. Sydney was one of those people that didn't get cold very easily. Even though she did get cold, it just took longer for her. However, even when she did eventually get cold, she hardly ever readily admitted it.

(Its fine, really. biggrin )
"If you are, let me know." he said, smiling softly. He looked at Sin. "I guess we should go help him." Indrid began climbing the stones to the top, to talk to Sin. "I hope he's alright." he said to Syd below. He certainly didn't look all right, and this worried him. He wasn't really social, and with this, he was afraid.

((Damn, I get back in WoW and it absorbs me...))
Coming out of the portal back in the world, he nearly collapses, still weak from the jump through the shadows he had to pull. He stumbled a few more paces, hoping to hide in the shadows as everyone tried to calm Sin before Indrid left for another to help. Melding into the nearest shadows, he rested and kept watch until the mists covered the area. Time passed. His breathing regulated with meditation, his strength slowly returning with rest. He payed little attention to what Sin said, but he had an idea of how to have him open up later...
..after all, Sin seemed like the type who could enjoy a game of chess...
As every began to leave, he hefted himself up. No demons followed them out the portal. He gave Syn a slight nod of acknowledgment, that is, if she acknowledged him, and walked back to the fortress where he could rest more. Not risking a jump through the shadow of the base to the shadow of the gateway, he simply climbed the ladder slowly, the last to climb up, and then just sat next to the doorway, hefting a heavy sigh.

Marcus came running up to Indrid. He'd been roaming in the building when the others had gotten back. Why did it always seem like he was never around when stuff was going on? "Indrid, what's going on?"

~*~*~*~*~*~α∂єℓℓιηє єяιѕ~*~*~*~*~*~ Adelline, better known as Eris, opened her eyes suddenly, feeling a tingle at her sides. Another nightmare obviously and plagued her dreams. Thorns had grown up from the floor and were now surrounding her. Calmly she willed the thorns back into the bedroom floor and sat up rubbing at her temple. "Why do I keep having the same dream over and over again?"
she wondered aloud. It was of a beautiful green world who killed whoever tread upon its lush patches. She yawned and stretched standing up and pulling on the clothes that she had set by her for the next morning. "Oh great and I'm late? What a morning..."
she said opening her door and rushing out into the hall. "I hope nothing too bad has happened while I was sleeping." she said walking quickly through a corridor trying to find someone. тнιѕ ѕσƒтєηє∂ нєαят ιѕ ℓιттєяє∂ ωιтн тнσяηѕ, ωнι¢н уσυ єιтнєя ρυѕн ιη σя ρυℓℓ συт

(( I hate my parents for putting the internet on a friggin' timer! sweatdrop ))
Tell Indrid if she got cold? Like that would ever happen. Syd thought this to herself as he suggested that they go help Sin, who was now seated up on the roof. Looking up at where they were headed now, Syd sighed in mild annoyance. Why was it that Sin had to choose the hardest places to reach in order to be alone?
She then started climbing up the rock after Indrid. "Once we talk to him, he better be fine." Sydney replied while climbing. If she wasn't so distracted by Indrid dragging her along to help Sin, Syd would acknowledge Alastar's presence as he climbed up the rope ladder to the fortress. But she was now climbing up the side of the building to get to where Sin was seated currently.
After a short bit of climbing, however, Sydney called up to Indrid. "Isn't there supposed to be a staircase or something to get us up there so we don't have to climb?" Sydney asked. She then turned her head up to try to call out to Sin if he could hear her. "Do you think that next time you could try to pick a place that's more accessible to the people who are worried about you, Sin!?"
