Hans sighed, give a slight shake of his head as he watched Rael struggle on down the hall. He snaps up when he hears the few orders he issues, and promptly disappears, returning to Rael's side as he holds out the requested celestial rod without a word though he does give him a stern look out of the corner of his eye that clearly said 'you should not be going'.

Celestial Rod delivered he snaps a quick bow of respect before heading for the portal to get to the base, where he clearly should have been to begin with.

Rael pauses only for a moment to take the weapon from Hans. For a brief moment, he smiles again, taking it and setting the item where his old one belonged. Ignoring the look from Hans, the Celestial king keeps moving. His people are the only priority right now . . . he has no time for rest or argument. Still, seeing Hans does lift his spirits a bit. Hans is the closest thing to a perfect soldier that the Sarra has. Unwavering, unquestioning, and loyal to a fault. Just seeing him reassures the king that things will get done.

Degial followed Rael, head low in respect. "My Lord, if I may make a suggestion?" He knew Rael may not like it, but it was pragmatic and the most sensible thing to do.

"I beg for forgivness my lord but..." Rachdarmos looked at the Archangel in aghony. "I have betrayed you. I left the base. I went to the Garthora. They were attacked by demons. Many were dead but some were injured. I had to help them. I healed many of their wounds. Some I couldn't save. Please forgive me. If you cannot however. I am ready for any punishment you wish to give me." Rachdarmos waited for what he almost knew to be a torturous experience."

Despite the urgency of his shuffling, Rael does stop. With a heavy sigh, he turns to Degial. "You have my ear, as always . . . but hurry. I must know the fate of our people." His voice is improving, the energy of the Sarra healing him quickly. In his home environment, the king recovers rather quickly- the world healing it's leader in ways he won't enjoy in any other place. Still, as he waits for Degial to speak, he turns to Rachdarmos.

With another customary smile and a smoother voice than he had a few minutes ago, not fully normal, but less gravelly, he speaks.
"Forgiveness? For going against the demons? Nonsense. If this is the worst you have to confess, then your punishment is simple. I condemn you . . . to a warm smile and caution to be careful. The Garthora is home to no humans, is it? They are the ones that have begun this. Those miserable things have brought this upon their world, kind, and now us as well. You served the light by helping those in need. The cambions stay there, don't they?" Rael's leading question is left hanging in the air. Perhaps he is wrong- with his mind so muddled by worry and injury, but as long as Rach did not help humans, then he is of no worry.

"Yes sir there are Cambions there. But that is not the worst of what I have done. I have let slip of our plans. I acidently told them about the purge. They didn't seem to worried about it. They almost knew already i suppse. But they were angry that they would die. I dont suspect they would be willing to join us fully knowing that we would kill them all anyways. I apologize again. I should have held my tounge when it came to the matter of the purge. I thank you for the warm smile though. It is the first I have seen fall upon your face in a long time."

"The young Cambion that has entered Sarra, perhaps she can help us to form an alliance with Garthora." Degial's words were brief, spared of the elegance he usually used with diplomacy. "My brother and I can help persuade Garthora to an alliance, if you will." There was the need for an alliance, especially with beings who may have a better understanding of human technology. Degial's head remained bowed low but he chanced a fleeting glace at Hans and then Rael.

Mirina glared at the man. She didnt like the tone or the manner in which she was being addressed. "And just who do you think you are?!" Mirina said coldly, but calmly, "I have a right of my heritage to visit these lands. Lets see you walk in my shoes for as long as i have and see you deal with it! Now excuse me while i look into finding a place of refuge." Mirina stepped passed the man disregaurding any authority he may of held. Mirina was a bit tired from wondering around the past couple days and was done on earth. She knew, however, she wouldnt be welcomed with open arms. "Just the same as anywhere!" she thought

Roselia remained silent through all of the questions given to Lord Rael, which he hoarsely answered through a voice injured by his deep wounds and the force of the weapon that had demolished the Alpha base. Delicate ears recorded all of the information being exchanged, wondering how she would be able to help. Tend to the soldiers? Ask Rael, Sabidan, Degial of what use she may be? No, they had enough to think about. If her ability was going to be taken advantage of, she'd need a human hostage anyways. Although it may be beneficial to learn information on this new weapon, maybe its whereabouts and just how to destroy it. Still, the lack of a hostage made it impossible. When the cambion came into play, she immediately became curious, especially when Degial had spoken of an allegiance between the half breeds. Would this mean actually sparing more lives? Thought of tending to this newcomer crossed her mind with interest. Though she would have loved to take action, she awaited on the archangels' words, never knowing what they might ask of her.

Rael's frustrations begin to mount. Yes, he is the king, and yes- he must delegate authority . . . but dammit, the soldiers need him! Every time he turns around, another person gets in his way. Yet, his duty to them is no different than to those in the field. Passion makes the soldiers a priority, but his emotions are not what rule here. The Light must be served. As his wounds heal exponentially fast, Rael deals with the affairs of state.

Still facing Rach, Rael does pause for a moment. Not at him slipping information of the purge, but at the thought of the Cambions thinking they too would be among the vanquished. The Cambions . . . he thought long and hard about their actions. Rael considered his opinions of them, and their relation to the humans. A deep weight in his heart tells the king what must happen next. Not only to appease the generals, but what is right. A very heavy sigh escapes his lips as Rael stares out the window for a moment. He feels keenly the need to go- to determine for himself what happened. For now, that seems too far away. Pressing concerns in the Sarra need him, and will block him from going there. He mustn't fail his people.

Rael gently lays a hand on Rach's shoulder, and begins to walk at a more normal pace back towards the throne.
"The purge was inevitable. Anybody could have seen that now. Espically with the humans turning the very sky into their weapon. You gave no secrets just yet, friend. You should return to the Sarra more often. I smile for my people . . . you are no exception. As for the Cambions? Perhaps you were too hasty in your assumptions. Still, I'd rather go into detail with that to them. I ask a favor: find their voice. Be it the one here, or back in the Gargotha, find a person they respect to represent them. Invite them here. What I have to say is as the king of the Celestials, and proper respect demands that I treat them as an emissary. Bring them to my throne, and tell them they have my word, no harm will come to them."

That said, Rael turns to Degial, motioning him towards the throne to join them. "An alliance requires both parties to agree . . . but a starting point will be the resident Cambion. Find this one- and request they join me here. My beautiful champion of diplomacy, please give this one the choice. Ensure they know such is not an order, and should they decline respect that wish. I would meet with this halfing, but not as a lord over a prisoner."

Taking a seat in the throne, Rael feels tired. The passion to go ebbing, he looks around and puts his hand on the new weapon. Hans . . . where did he go? The closest the Sarra has to a perfect soldier always acts without question or hesitation. Perhaps he went to Earth? His stony visage would be difficult to see as help, but Rael has a feeling that is what happened. Should that be the case, the king can rest easy. Hans will not let him down. The survivors will be returned, and the unfortunate . . . oh, how he hopes there are none of those!

Degial nodded and spread out his wings luxuriously from his back. It shielded out the sun behind him, granting shade to him. "Immediately, My Lord." He replied in his soft voice. Reaching up towards his King, he planted a gentle kiss on his cheek, a sign of reverence and adoration. Degial's touch alone could beautify the soul. Its effect would not be lost on the King of the Celestials. Degial gave a small bow and lifted off into the sky to find the Cambion.

It didn't take Degial long, for her energy felt distinctly different from the rest. He landed some ways away from her, letting his wings stay out. Studying the situation, he assumed that Sabidan had been rather insulting to the visitor. His job was not going to be easy. Letting out a small sigh, he walked out towards Sabidan and the Cambion, a gentile and welcoming expression on his face. It wasn't at all false, Degial was genuinely interested in an alliance, or even a friendship between Garthora and Sarra.

Sabidan stepped in front of the cambion and held his hand in front of her, using his powers to influence her to stay where she was and listen. "I'm Sabidan. I'm the adviser to King Rael. If you think you can step pass me and do whatever you want, you are mistaken. You could have been dead by now. And no, you don't. We don't welcome you're kind here."

Degial put a hand on Sabidan's shoulder, squeezing it slightly. "Sabidan, Rael welcomes her. Please, let me talk to her." He sighed, stepping in front of Sabidan, "My lady." His smile was infectious.
