He now had two options laid before him, and the sad fact was they both seemed awfully tempting. He could admit that he didn't and perhaps she would offer to teach him, or he could try to carry on the charade. He took so much time thinking that it must have been obvious what the truth was, but for some reason he still didn't know how to answer. After a while he finally said, somewhat quietly, "It shows that badly?"

"Well," Luna said, tilting her head the opposite way, "Comparing a woman to an old bat like Barenziah certainly does nothing for your appeal." She laughed. She unclasped his head and tweaked his nose, "Though your demeanor is natural, I'll give you that much." Luna leaned back, putting both her elbows behind her to rest on the bar. This (Purosefully) pushed her chest foreward and she crossed her legs, "You are welcome to try again in the future," she said, "And I would like to know your name. Then I can tell all I know about you, before you become famous through your daring adventures."

"Well, she was supposed to be one of the most beautiful women of her age," he said somewhat defensively, "more than good enough for a famous general, the emperor, and Jagar Tharn." And a score of other people besides that, but that wasn't worth mentioning right now. Of course, she still tweaked his nose, but the way she shifted was more than enough to make up for the little action.

He shifted so that he was facing her, and planted his elbow so that he could place a fist beneath his chin as he looked at her. "Well, what would you say if I thought you looked much better than that now that I can see you clearly," he said with a smile.

"And I am Irlave Axionel," he said with his cocky little grin. "And I am always at your service." He even winked as he said that last little part.

She shook her head in amusement and grinned. She turned to her mead and finished it off in a long draught, then answered, "Luna. And I will keep that in my mind, and hold you to it, should we meet again."
She lifted herself from the bar, draping the cloak around herself once again, "I assume a gentleman such as yourself, Irlave, would be willing to pick up the bill." She gave a sly smile then put her hood up before walking out of the door.
This will be so much more fun than I thought.

"I am definitely looking forward to that," he said with a grin. Then she began to get up, leaving him with the bill of course, but he found that he didn't mind. He was just about to undertake a fairly lucrative little adventure, which would give him a great deal of money from loot and from the imperial commission.

He could definitely afford to pay for a little bit of mead.

He placed some gold on the table and walked away, hoping that he didn't need to make to many other purchases for the lady. His purse wasn't infinite, or even that large, after all. "So you assume I'm a gentleman now?" he asked as he followed her out, "I thought I was an adventurer."

"What?" She responded in mock shock, "A man cannot be both? Well, then maybe I don't want anything to do with you if you are no gentleman." Luna stuck her nose up and waved her arm in an exagerated expression of rejection, "Good day sir!" She walked off with her hands on her hips.

"... and that'll be fifteen Septims for the food, five Septims for the supplies.... and another three-hundred thirty-seven Septims for the Amulet. And might I say it does look rather good on you, sir." said the humble Shopkeeper, Jensine.

With a kind demeanor and a smile, Reh'Zheel responded with a polite gesture. "Aye, thank you, Jensine. And might I say you're looking as beautiful as ever today. So the total will come to.... Three-Hundred fifty-seven Septims, yes?"

Fishing the gold coins out of his coinpurse, Reh'Zheel placed them on the counter of the kind woman's shop. Gathering his newly acquired items, the Argonian turned to leave, but not before saying one last pleasantry to the shopwoman.

"Blessings of Julianos upon you!"

Hmm... 30 minutes left. Might as well stop at the Best Defense and see what I can do about fixing my armor.

"A man could be both... With the proper tutoring," he said in reply, but it was to late. She was walking away with a very amusing exaggeration on her face, and he could do nothing more than... Wait a minute. She is joking about this entire thing! He probably should have realied that sooner, if only because of the nature of the conversation they were having.

Well, he was clueless with women, so it wasn't entirely his fault.

So he watched her walk off, before sighing and shaking his head as he looked at the ground. "Maybe in another life," he said wistfully. Hopefully just loud enough for her to hear. He had been having to much fun with that exchange...

With a sigh he looked down the streets around him, and began to fiddle with one of the straps on his leather armor. It was in good repair as always, and it fit his body as well as it always did... There really was nothing for him to do right now besides flirt with the girl.

He had at least another half hour left after all...

"Me not being a gentleman doesn't change the fact that I am always at your service," he called after her.

She grinned and turned, walking backwards. Her hands interlocked behind her head, "Actions speak louder than words, Irlave!" Luna called back and faced forward again, going through one of large doors that separate the districts. She was heading towards the stables.

Armor repaired... check. Weapons in good condition.... check. Spells? Won't need them. Arrows? Check. Supplies and potions? Check and check. Food? CHECK.

His mental checklist complete, Rah'Zheel found a dark alleyway in which to change clothes. Donning his Glass Helmet and Gloves, he decided to forego full armor for now and instead to just change his pants and shirt. He was now dressed in a nice Glass Helmet, a stunning Jeweled Amulet which gave him some minor Detect Life ability, a plain Shirt with Suspenders, a set of Burgundy Linen Pants, Glass Gloves, and matching Glass Boots. With bow and arrow attached to his back, Reh'Zheel made his way from the alley, through the Market, and to the Arena.

I figure I have about fifteen minutes left.

"YOU! Bookie! Give me 500 Septims on the Blue team!"

As he walked into the spectator's area, RehZheel had a good feeling about the forthcoming mission.

Wasting no time, Athalos immediately stood up, helmet under his arm, as he walked out of the inn. Rounding the market place he briskly walked down to the waterfront district back to a set of bushes were he picked up a bag full of the provisions he would need for the journey, slinging it around is shoulder he moved onward, feeling the cool winter breeze blow against his armor, which was unfortunately starting to get cold. The bits of sun that shown through the thick set of clouds reflected off his shiny gold painted Dwarven Armor. The Nord continued strolling down the streets and alleyways of the large Imperial City until finally he came to the gates. Moving outward he made his way across the bridge, hearing his boot stomp against each brick and making sure to simply stare forward as not to attract the attention of any of the large number of guards standing watch on the bridge. After all he didn't want them to take the time to stop and investigate the odd looking Nord dressed for combat and armed to the teeth. Athalos strolled off the bridge across the dirt road until he came across the stables. He would wait here, alone, until the others came to meet him. He took a seat at one of the wooden chairs on the porch of the cabin next to the horses' pen. The Imperial tending the horses eyed him for a moment but then went back to his buisness.
Knowing he would be here for a while, Athalos set down his helmet, slung his shield off his back, and unlatched his sheathed sword from his side and set it down, simply closing his eyes and listening to the animals, and the nature around him. Oh how he enjoyed the dirt, and the grass of the wild more than the walls and stone of the cities.

"HEH HA! ANOTHER THOUSAND SEPTIMS, ANOTHER DAY!" bellowed an excited Reh'Zheel as he exited the arena district. The fight had gone well- a Heavily-armored Orc with a Warhammer against a Lightly-armored Imperial with a sword and shield.

The Orc had won five minutes into the match by hitting the Imperial with a fireball from close proximity.

"Hmm... ten minutes. More than enough time."

Making his way to the Stables, Rah'Zheel was a tad surprised to find the Nord waiting there already.

Must not have had anything else to do, I guess. But where are the others?

Luna had made it across the bridge without a problem. At the stables there was already a muscular nord and an Argonian. She kept the cloak around her body, but pulled the hood down and waved, "Hello, I assume you two are also going on the mission?" she spoke naturally and stood next to the Argonian, waiting for either of them or both to answer.

"Who are you, and what do you know of our intent, Dunmer?" replied Reh'Zheel, eyes narrowing and mind working- how fast could he draw his dagger? Would it be fast enough? What if she knew a paralysis spell?

Luna gave a clean laugh, "Stand down, soldier boy. It just so happens I would like to join you, I don't see why not? From what I can see you could use an extra set of hands, even if it is just to carry a pack." She lulled her head to an angle and looked up at the Argonian. Something about the Lizardman gave her shivers, and she liked it.
