I have it takes patiance my first game of Final Fantasy VII my characters sucked. I was only able to beat sephiroth once but i went through it again and i have ultimate characters. Although Ruby and Emerald can just kill them all in one attack thats why final attack materia comes in handy exept on Ruby he takes away 2 of your characters from the start..if Cloud ain't there restart!!! Knights of the round is pretty much the best thing to use against Ruby. But be sure you have master materia on summons so you can use it forever. Be sure to beat Emerald First so you get the master materia for summons...BEST GAME EVER!!! xd biggrin

sw33tmischi3f Lady Yazoo Dude...I'm too scared to even go underwater because of emerald. Due to the lighting of my tv he looks gray, and like a shark, and I'll get anhilated by him, I fear teh emerald. But i watched a guy beat sephiroth with only tifa at level 7 biggrin do you mean 70, b/c it's quite impossible for a character to be hat low in a level b/c as cloud's lvl go up, the people who are not in the currently main group will also go up a lvl like every other lvl that cloud go up........unless you keep him ko'd almost through out the game just for the purpose of .............something........ She would be dead if she was by her self. But did you know that if you have ultimate weapon for cloud then you use his Buster Sword on Sephiroth it does about the same amount?

Ortinbras Vincent. V Ex-~ Chris Silverwind Hes easy if your a low level Aishiko. Like under 90. I prefer fighting emerald weapon over ruby... x x Sephiroth is pretty easy at all levels. He only becomes difficult when you try fighting him with Cloud at level 99. His HP is tripled apparently, which means it'll be one b***h of a fight. xp
fighting ruby & emarald is the best.... shame you can only do it once per game. I know crying

lanceknightmare Cloud_Striff heres how u beat them easily use kotor with w-summon and the have the rest of your party mimc this could be like a half hour process You messed that up, it is Kotr + mp turbo + w-summon( in another slot). Caster barier and m-barier on your party( or just cloud if you are fighting Ruby. NOT JUST WALL wall gives a 1/3 attack def to both physical and magic attacks while barrier and m-barrier halves them. Stock up on alot of X-potions cause cure will be halved by your barrier. This will be 13 knights x 9999 damage x 2 = 259,974 damage per turn vs. either emerald or ruby. They don't do that much. maybe like rangeing to 4500 to 7500 useally sometimes you might get that 9999 in there. But thats on the "Weapons"

lanceknightmare crazymech How do you get another Mimic, I need it to kill ol'green pain in the a**. All materias will auto dupe themselves once you master them. Even KOTR sweatdrop But you have to master all of the materia of a certain kind to get a master materia.

I thought I was prepared the first time I went to fight Ruby, boy did I get schooled. But after that I found Knights of Round in master materia and used a mimic to copy it again and again. I also had regen, an equipped ribbon, magic hammer, and the best cures possible combined with materia that let me double cast.

this is a good tip for newbies. to get all your characters to have 9,999hp go to nanaki's world a.k.a. RedXIII and go to a store that sells materia. buy the materia that has hp plus on it i think, and buy a whole bunch! then equip the materia to your three characters you are playing with, and poof!!! you now have 9,999hp and you are also broke to from buying all that materia! lol

Best strategy ever: Cait Sith's Slots Limit (3 Cait Sith faces, auto-kill)
It'll take you a long time, but can you imagine killin Emerald in one shot like that? That's how I beat him XD

before you fight ruby i would suggest killing two of your own charictors (but not the one that has final attack+phoenix), then when you go in to the fight and ruby puts its hands in the ground revive them and thus you have your full party to fight it (also 3 ribbons are a must)

i agree with the killing off to characters exept the one with final attack+life
but then you want kotrt(mastered)with hp drain that way you go up to full health every round and he always responds with ultima which does about 8000 dmg you get this back from hp drain

I Have beaten both on numerous occasions and have even beaten ruby in a cloud only initial equipment no materia challenge. Took sooo long.
