Marcus Natali
Marcus stifled a wince as the hot cloth touched the wound. Why couldn't treating a wound be a lot easier than this? His ears caught her murmuring, and he couldn't help but blush just a little. She always was worry about him when he got hurt. It was almost like she acted like his mother during those times. Even if she laughed at him while she took care of him, she always was there.

He was about to say something in response when she mentioned the needles. His eyes went wide with terror, and in a split second he was one the opposite side of the room, crouched on the counter top with a knife he had rifled out of the drawer. Marcus brandished it at her, daring her to come any closer.

" Ooooh nooo!"
He said in a panicked laugh," You are not coming anywhere near me with a needle and thread! Last time you almost made me bleed to death, and the resulting stitches looked like something a two year old scribbled on a piece of parchment! Nice try Night, but you'll have to kill me first! Id rather have my arm chopped off!"

The magician, ever since the incident, had been deathly afraid of needles of any sort. He was certainly NOT going to have a repeat of those events.

Sabine -o- Winters

((Sounds good to me. Maybe do a pattern? I usually do one on one battles, so having some other people there is going to be interesting! Lol))

Sabine looked at Iliad and shook her head. He'd get it later for that. She saw the Guard run at them and move to kick out her legs. She saw Iliad jump over him and she moved backwards in a reverse arch. She swung her legs up, her sword held in her hands, her one foot aimed at his face. She hoped that she would hit him and get him far enough away so that she could run with her blade. She waited for a minute on her hands and spun her legs around hoping to hit him again before bringing them down and standing, her blade in her hands again.

=|Echo Iselsi|=

User Image Echo let her kick get through but when her blade came at him, it stopped dead in its tracks. Echo had grabbed the blade with his claws and laughed. the kick kind of hurt though. "This is why Swords are terrible. Terrible weapons for terrible fighters.." He pulled back her blade taking her with it then pushed it forward hard smashing the hilt into her chest, letting go of her sword in the process. He an towards a wall jumped and clung to it with one arm readying himself for a lethal lunge technique.

[[yea so i believe both of you post then i post in response right?]]

Iliad looked as Sabine's sword was caught mid slash. Crap, this is going to take a bit of technique... He said pulling out a leaf and popping it into his mouth. The leaf, when chewed created a nice toxin that blinded for a short period of time. He looked up at Echo hanging on the side of the building and smiled. Two can play at that game, He thought, still chewing. Iliad ran up the side of the wall and jumped off of it, blades close to his chest just incase Echo lunged at him, but in perfect position for an upward slash.

Sabine -o- Winters

Sabine felt her sword hilt smash into her chest sending her flying. She gasped as she sucked in a breath that burned her chest. She would have a bruise there for sure. She saw Echo's claws coming up underneath her for a slash, and she groaned. She pulled her sword back from the claws that it was jammed in and pushed off, sending her back a bit more to avoid the claws. She landed on the ground however with a ooomph a crack echoing in the alley. She ended up on her back and winced, feeling a throbbing in her shoulder.

"Damnit..." She hissed, before using the sword to push herself up. She'd have to ignore the pain, but then again, what was a battle without it.

She looked up to see Iliad get into position for Echo to slice at him wtih his claw. She gave him a look that she hoped he would get before she started running at the Guard again. As she ran she started singing, hoping that it would slow him down.

"Take that you b*****d..." She said, running at him. She was slow though... the pain from her shoulder and her chest, as much as she wanted to ignore her, hindering her.

=|Echo Iselsi|=

User Image Echo watched Iliad running the wall at him. At the same time Sabine started singing again, he couldnt let that continue... or could he... he jumped down and and started walking backwards with his head low. His worse memory came to him again and with that... his state of mind during that time. "....You... will.....DIE!!!" Echo went into a last resort mode. The problem was it could kill because of his memory. He ran at Sabine Claws out and running extremely fast for someone in dire pain. when he reached her he made a huge slash at her with both claws

Night watched Marcus carefully, his facial expressions giving away that he had heard her. Sighing again, she tried to hide her own blush. He probably thought she was stupid for worrying about him. Before she knew what was going on though, her friend was on the other side of the room and pointing a knife at her.

Standing from her seat, she rolled her eyes. "Marcus, put the knife down." She was holding out her hands in a no violence kind of way as well as unarmed. Which she wasn't, but Marcus knew she would never go unarmed no matter what. "I wouldn't have brought it up of me doing it if I hadn't been shown how. I promise, I have had training and practice," she said, trying to keep her voice calm and sure.

Marcus Natali
Marcus stared at her suspiciously for a moment, trying to find any bit of deception in her features. Unfortunately, or fortunately, depending how you viewed the situation, he found none. So with a sigh he let the knife fall to the counter with a clatter.

" Fine.." He muttered at her, holding out his arm. " Go ahead.....Do your worst!" He said the last bit dramatically, placing his other hand on his forehead in a swooning position.

Iliad looked as Echo dropped, grabbed his head then went into a berserker's rage, heading straight for Sabine, NO!! Iliad was tired but he hoped atleast he could do this before he truly passed out. Iliad zig zagged from wall to wall and lunged at Echo who had both hands arcing in a slash. I've got him! Iliad thought thought as he seen his opening. Iliad jumped onto Echo's back, wrapping his legs around Echo's waist in a figure four, or putting one leg across Echos' body, locking his foot behind his other knee. Using his twin daggers he cought Echo's slashes mid air, before they could harm Sabine. Iliad then finished his assault. Grabbing Echo's helm, Iliad pulled back on it, jerking Echo's head back, forcing him to look sky high. Iliad put his face right above Echo's and spat out all the contents in his mouth through the eye slits in Echo's helm. The minty smelling mist would blind someone for a short period of time if it got into the eyes, and from so close Iliad would be shocked if he didn't atleast get enough drops in Echo's eyes to blind him.
Iliad let go of Echo and ran to Sabine, "Come on, lets go, that is only for a short time!" Iliad said grabbing Sabine and running out of the alley and into a large crowd. If he managed to get Echo's eyes he would have no way of seeing which way they went, Iliad and Sabine would get away.

Sabine -o- Winters

Sabine heard the angry call come from behind the helm. She skidded to a stop and saw him speeding toward her with his claw out and ready to attack. There was no way she could avoid it, so she brought her sword up to try and lessen the blow. Then Iliad leapt and gripped his body around Echo's. She watched as he did something to him before running at her and pulling her away. She re-sheathed her sword and turned before following after, her hand in his. They made it into the crowd and still rushed through, getting to the safe house as fast as possible. Once inside, Sabine collapsed, her hand moving to the centre of her chest as she tried to breathe deeply, and the other was against her shoulder.

She lay there for a while, before moving her one hand away from her chest. There was blood on her palm from her swords hilt. She didn't doubt it. She had made it so she could use either end in a fight if need be.

"Do you have any bandages?" She asked, hoping she could get them before either one of them passed out, Iliad more likely to before her.

Iliad looked around his safe house. The house had one big living room and three doors in the back, one led to a bed room, the other to a bathroom, the last to a closet, "I've never been happier to be here..." He thought out loud. Looking around he found his work table and placed his bag of goodies on it, he then reached into his multiple pockets and began pulling out a wide arangement of jewels and wallets. Finally, after he emptied his pockets he undid his sheath and placed it on the table. He sat down on his sofa and thought he would pass out right there but Sabine's voice brought him back. "Right, because one of us wasn't smart enough to not get hurt..." Iliad moaned and stood up. He walked over to a cabinet near the back of the room. He opened it and pulled out bandages and a bottle of a white cream. He tossed both to Sabine, "Don't ask what the cream is made out of, you don't want to know, but rub a small amount on the wound, it will keep it from scarring and prevent infection, then wrap it up with the bandages." Iliad then sat back down. Smiling wide, Iliad looked at the girl, "So, whats your name again?" He asked exausted, though it didn't stop him from chuckling.

Sabine -o- Winters

She nodded and winced pushing herself up off the ground to go the bathroom. Like hell if she was stripping in the middle of the living room. As she walked to go clean herself she heard him make another crack at her.

"It's a part of fighting. It's natural to get hurt. Usually I can fix these on my own, but I didn't expect my own sword hilt to send me flying." She said.

She walked into the bathroom and closed the door, not all the way, but enough that he couldn't see anything. She pulled the top of her warrior wear over her shoulders and let it slip down to her hips. She marvelled at the bloodied cut, the purple around it looking nastier then the wound. She winced and picked up the cream, letting out a hiss and a groan as she applied it to her skin. It burned in the beginning, but that meant it was working. She grabbed the bandage and wrapped it around herself, but halfway through wrapping she cried out in pain. Her body bent over as sharp pains flew through her left shoulder.

"Ahh... damn my shoulder." She moaned, before shaking her head and standing up straight again.

When Iliad asked her name, her eyes fell upon the mirror. She sighed and looked away, not wanting to see herself. She was weak.

"Sabine... Sabine Winters." She said as she finished her wrapping and pulled her shirt back up over her shoulders. She turned and walked from the bathroom, making sure that the light was off.

She stood in the doorway for a while, her eyes scanning his face. He had saved her... that was a good enough cause to tell him her name.

"What? You gonna laugh, make fun of me?" She said, before walking over to the couch and sitting on the other end.

Nyx watched Marcus drop the knife to the counter and she stepped forward. Taking his other arm, she led him back to the table and wandered off, avoiding windows and that, to find the needle and thread. She had just stopped a servant to ask for some thread and a needle when she heard the pounding on the door. "Royal Guard!" she heard yelled through the door, then a boot kicking it. They were going to come in either way

"Blaze!" she hollared as she ran back to the kitchen. "We have to go. Now." Taking Marcus' arm gently, she helped him stand, grabbing the whiskey. "They will be going to the back as well, is there another way out?" Nyx heart skipped a beat and she looked back to as the front door gave in to the extra strength she guessed that guard gained from his magic.

Iliad smirked, "Whatever you have to tell yourself, I'm just saying, I think I do pretty good at fighting but I'm not hurt..." He let out a yawn, "Kind of sleepy though." Iliad leaned back into the softness of the sofa and let out a long sigh. He could feel himself slipping into sleep but three words woke him up. He was so sure she would duck the question that getting a straight answer was shocking. He smiled as she walked back into the room and sat at the other side of the sofa. "You're name is beautiful, Sabine, I wouldn't think of making fun of it, like I said, I'm not trying to set the world on fire, I'm just trying to light a flame in your heart." Iliad said, looking at Sabine, no smirk, just looking. Smooth, real smooth, I'd ******** me if I was her.
Iliad, under any other circumstance would have made his move right then and there, but something told him not to. Instead he looked away and reached his hand to the back of his head, pulling off his ribbon that held his pony tail. His hair loose, Iliad ran his hands through it and sighed. Sleep threatened to envelope him again, he fought to stay awake but was finding it harder and harder.

She looked away when he said that her name was beautiful and went on with lighting a flame in her heart again.

"Like I said before... you don't want to." She replied, bringing her knees up on the couch, slipping her feet underneath her body.

She leaned her back against the arm of the couch, and her head against the back of it feeling her own eyes closing. She was tired, sore, and wanted to rest. She didn't expect Iliad to just stop where he was and look at her, but before long he had undid his hair and was sighing. After that running, he must have been exhausted.

"You... should get some sleep." She said quietly, her eyes not focusing on him anymore but the floor. "I stay up and keep watch. If anything does happen, or anyone comes by I'll wake you up."

Silence fell over the two again, but she felt a small smile coming to her face.

"Thank you..." She said looking back up at him. "For saving me. I appreciate it... but don't think that some of those comments you made are going to just be forgotten. I'll think up something clever about them later."
