He wanted to ask what JD thought he was doing.
Wanted to be allowed to wonder just how this situation was going to play out.
Hell, he even wanted to know why JD had picked him.
But his friend's lips were on his own again, and Neil really didn't know what to do.
He was too drunk to get into a fight over this, actually... probably too drunk to put up much of a fight if JD was rather adamant on kissing him.
Green eyes closed as he felt JD's chest press against his own. Neil didn't exactly kiss back, but he didn't push away either.
It was strange...
How soft JD's lips were.
Course... maybe it was just the alcohol?

Standing, Katagiri left the room for a moment and returned with a small arm brace and wrap. "I'll wrap it, then put this brace on to help you keep from moving it. I've got a dry sling in my closet so I'll grab that once we're done."
He was smiling slightly, taking Graham's hand into his own after sitting next to him at the table. "So, not your type, hmm?" he asked, carefully moving Graham's fingers just enough to get the bandage around his palm. "I don't see you exactly looking around for your type these days." the scientist commented, winding the bandage up the pilot's arm and back down again.

JD pulled back from the kiss and kind of just sat there on Neil's lap.
He didn't move, maybe doing this wasn't the best idea in the world.
Jensen probably just freaked the heck out of his friend, and probably confused him to all hell.
"Sorry.."
" I don't exactly have time to look around for my type these days. I just got promoted, don't have time to go the officers or enlisted club like I used to do when I was younger." he said hissing as Billy moved his hand around.

Eventually, Neil opened his eyes, his green gaze focusing on JD. "That..." he breathed out for a moment before grabbing the bottle of crown, pouring himself another drink, and downing most of it in one gulp. "That was... s**t, JD..."
He was confused, obviously...
And so he poured ANOTHER drink... downing this one in a few gulps before setting the glass down.
Okay, so at least JD was blurred now. Now he could at least look his friend in the eye.
"'tha hell 'as that for?" Neil asked, his words slurred a bit.

"Sorry..." Billy whispered, feeling bad for harming his injured fingers.
But it had to be done.
"After things have calmed down, don't worry... you'll get the chance to go out on the prowl again." the scientist replied with a teasing smirk, finishing the dressing and carefully fitting the brace over the hand and arm. "I'll even buy you a drink at the bar of your choice. Two guys like us... shouldn't be TOO hard."

JD raised an eyebrow at Neil. " You know drinking yourself so your dizzy, is not going to make me feel any better if I talk to you seriously about this. Because your just gonna forget tomorrow morning and your judgment is horribly impaired." He said moving off Neil's lap and sitting on the couch.
He crossed his arms stubbornly. "Unlike you, I'm sober enough to make good choices. And I'm not explain' myself to ya till your sober..."
" What if I'm pefectly happy being a single military man? What if I don't wanna go look?" he replied looking the way his hand was wrapped and smiling."Thanks, Billy."

Neil sighed, and closed his eyes, leaning his head back against the sofa. "Look, I'm.... I'm not so drunk as ta forget a converzation." he spoke carefully, trying not to slur his words. "Ya ********' kissed me!" Neil said, turning confused green eyes on JD. "Tha hell 'as I supposed ta think?"

Sighing, Billy shook his head. "You're just saying that because of what's happened." he replied, standing from the table and going to fetch the sling from his closet.
In truth, he wanted Graham to be happy... and happiness usually entailed marriage... family... kids..."
For the first time in a long while, the image of a beautiful brown haired and rather well busted woman popped into Katagiri's mind and it took him a few moments to chase the memory of Kujo away.
He grabbed the sling from his closet, trying not to upset a large pile of sheets on the top shelf near it.

Jensen pushed up his glasses. " Hmm.. perhaps that your best friend may like you more then a friend. Did that ever pop in the skull of yours? I'm surprised you couldn't tell I was gay in first place.. have you ever once in our friendship ever see me take anything other then a guy on a date? Its not like I was hiding it, I was sending out signals left and right."
" I haven't gone on a date in over four years.I thought of this way before the accident." he said standing from the chair and stretching. " Where can I get those clothes.. Its getting kind of chilly just sitting around in a towel."

That admission, gave the Irishman pause.
He HAD seen JD leave the occasional pub with another guy... but Neil had always chalked it up to his friend going bar hoping with another guy...
Chalked it up to Neil finding a nice girl to hook up with... and thus JD needed someone else as a drinking buddy.
Gay?
"s**t..." Neil whispered, his muddled drunken mind actually able to put two and two together in this situation.
Green eyes focused on JD. "So... why now?" he asked curiously. "Why didn't you tell me this sooner?"
After all... the kiss hadn't exactly been bad.
Hell, if Neil wanted to be honest... it was better than a kiss with most women. At least... there was more feeling there...

"Still," Billy spoke, coming back into the kitchen with the sling and helping Graham fit it properly over his arm. "Even if you've thought about it... you won't be a test pilot forever, Graham. What will you do when you get too old to take a joyride on the next mech that comes our way?"
He motioned for the pilot to follow him back into the bedroom, rummaging through a few drawers until he found a pair of grey thin sweatpants and a t-shirt.

Jensen kicked his legs back and forth.
" Couldn't tell ya. What kind of person would ya have thought I was if i suddenly admitted that I have a crush on you? I thought I could just keep it hidden. Plus you don't approve of me being in the IRA, after what happened to your family."
The short Irish man shrugged "Now just felt like the best time to tell you."
" I've already thought it out. I'll retire, and just fly groups of people into space. I couldn't not fly, its what I was born too do. Even if I have teach civilians to fly old planes." he said closing the door and changing, before coming out. "Your clothes.. are too tall for me.."

Sighing, the dark haired man closed his eyes and leaned forward, putting his head in his hands.
"Look..." he eventually spoke softly, "I... I don't exactly disapprove... of the IRA..." Neil said, obviously feeling a bit embarrassed about it. "I only disapprove when innocent civilians are involved, JD... not when those who deserve to die... die."
He straightened, his green gaze falling on his friend. "And I certainly don't disapprove of you being gay." at this he laughed softly. "It... actually puts a lot of things into better perspective, I suppose."
But the crush...
What in hell could he say to that?

Katagiri laughed, trying to hide the amusement at seeing Graham in a shirt that had sleeves obviously too long... and pants that bunched around his ankles. "Sorry..." Billy replied, composing himself. "You just looked like a little kid of a second there. I've got... well, I can get you some shorts if you'd rather wear those."
He returned to his bedroom, digging in another dresser drawer.
"But can you really be happy like that?" he asked absently. "Alone... well, obviously you'll have friends like me to make sure you keep out of trouble," the scientist smirked teasingly. "But seriously..."

Actually after all the years he'd known Neil.
He'd expected this sort of outcome.
Graham pouted and crossed your arms. " Short would be much better." he said. " You are too skinny, you should eat more."
" Are you saying I'd be unhappy and alone because I don't seek someone to love?"

Jensen turned his head looking at Neil with shocked bright green eyes.
" What the bloody hell is that suppose to mean?" he asked not sure how to respond to what Neil said to him. Because it sounded a lot like he liked the kiss because it felt good.
" Your figure is very feminine, more then most women I know." he said pulling off the pants and pulling on the short. " Much better, thank you."
" And why do you care so much about me finding someone to love.. I know your my best friend, but it seems like you care a little to much about who I'm dating.."

The man moved to stand up, but as the world spun, thought better of it.
"You kiss damn good, JD. I mean... you weren't even really tryin' I don't think but... half the women I've kissed aren't that good when they're at their best."

Billy had averted his eyes to Graham changing pants in front of him, pushing his glasses up on his nose a bit further. "Thin figure lets me get in and out of some odd angles when working with a FLAG."
'Oh god that sounded horrible...' he thought, and the mental image that accompanied it was even worse.
"It's not that I care WHO, Graham... I just want you to be happy. And to be honest, I can't imagine you alone when you're seventy-five and too old to fly."

" Then I will simply have to get a puppy or a kitty.. those show love." he said running his hands through his blond hair. " I guess that's why I have a different build then you. I was meant to fly, to labor on the FLAG's, though I could if I need too."

"I did explain it..." Neil replied, pouting a tad at the notion that he might actually have to REALLY fully explain it.
He sighed and looked to JD again. "Okay. Your a great kisser. I was shocked. You kiss better than most women. Hell, you might even kiss better than me. Satisfied?" the Irishman finished, blushing slightly.
And not from alcohol this time.
