Arya looked up at Taylor, some of his tears falling on her forehead. She lifted a hand and wiped them away. "C'mon now, don't cry. Be a big boy for Miss Arya, ok?"
Amesha and Mimiko looked at Taylor, both with concerned looks on their faces.

Snowing Rainbows Arya looked up at Taylor, some of his tears falling on her forehead. She lifted a hand and wiped them away. "C'mon now, don't cry. Be a big boy for Miss Arya, ok?"
Amesha and Mimiko looked at Taylor, both with concerned looks on their faces. Nodding slightly, Taylor petted the tiny fox's head. "Mom....I miss my mommy...." He said, very childishly.

Covering a small smile and giggle with a thin and elegantly gloved hand, "Ryu my dear, all will become apparent in it's time. Be patient, and have a seat. I'm sure that your journey was a difficult and strange one." Fae motioned for the little boy to take the chair closest to the now brightly lit fireplace. Closing the door after Ryu and Flit with a small flick of her gloved hand, Fae continued the motion flawlessly to scoop Flit from the air, and set the happily glowing faerie on her bare shoulder. Flit was ecstatic, she could not contain herself, as her light radiated from the curtain of Fae's dark violet locks. Flit whispered into Fae's long, pointed ear, "He's just as handsome, and oh so brave as you had said he would be." Flit gushed breathlessly. "We have been bound, another vision correct Fae, it's kinda scary because I know the rest too....." Fae quickly turned her back to the fireplace and cupped Flit close to her cheek, "Not yet Flit, he's not ready for all of it yet. Slowly, I will tell him, I don't want him to be confused, we all need him as lucid and strong as possible. It may upset him and what we have to do in the process." Fae darted a glance over her shoulder to a large gilded birdhouse that looked like a replica of the store from outside, in the corner of the room. "He has to see others and know, but only after he is fed, rested and comfortable. Afterall, it's my maternal duty to see to those needs first." Fae swirled around with her face in a glowing smile, warm and hospitable. "Ryu, is there anything I can get for you? Are you hungry?" she asked as she sat at the chair across the table from where Ryu stood.

"Strange....yes....uncomfortable....sort of. It was..so exiting." he said, smiling to himself as he sat in the soft coushiny arm-chair. Ryu's body seemed to relax as Flit's glow brightened, her magiks once again resonating with his own.
"No thanks....me and Flit ate ten minutes ago." the boy explained, his eyes fluttering a bit. He wasn't tired. They had just eaten breakfast but a few minutes ago!

"Oh, well in that case, maybe I'll just make some tea...." Fae said as she rose from her chair quickly. Fae noticed Ryu's expression, he seemed tired, but it may just be he was getting used to Flit's magicks-share. She procured a small teapot and a votive candle stand which the pot rested on to brew. She lit the white candle with a match struck upon the table, then blew it out with a little puff. Turning back to the table and setting it down, "I have just the thing to energize you some, and help you deal with the new sensations from the magicks. They can be overwhelming, but yes, it's all so exciting isn't it?" Fae asked with a glimmer in her large green eyes. Eyes the same color as Flit's beautiful green self. Sparkling and a glittery glow in the depths of her dark pupils. Tucking a lock of long hair behind her right her she absent mindedly tugged at a strange pewter earring dangling from the tip of her long ear.

The blue-haired boy nodded, a smile coming over his face. "Yes...very exiting." He agreed, "And so....well its......its kinda like........"
The boy laughed to himself, before sitting forward in his char. "Its unexplainable. Atleast, not through words.........wait....Miss Fae? Are you bound to someone as well?" He asked, motioning for Flit to come join him. He liked having the little fairy nearby.

Flit sat entranced upon Fae's bare shoulder, the tiny pewter earring making a tinkling noise. A noise only magick creatures could hear. She didn't see Ryu motion for her, she felt it. And with a heavy blink, her eyes cleared and she floated across the table top to Ryu's waiting hand. Fae, let go of the earring as Flit moved from her shoulder. Straightening herself, she looked down and smooth her velvet skirt across her lap, "I was, once." she said sadly. "He was a human, just like you. My family did not approve, so we ran away together. He was handsome, a ranger who braved many dangers, he never feared elves like he should have......" Fae's voice drifted a bit, and she choked on the last word as tear sprung up and dropped from her cheek, leaving a single dark dot on the velvet of her skirt. "It was not long ago, and I miss him very much." Fae lifted her chin, her eyes shimmering with unshed tears. She cast a heartfelt look at Ryu, and then bowed her head again. "He would have liked you." she said softly and closed her eyes, willing the tears to end.

Placing the fairy on his shoulder, Ryu looked twords Fae with a look of pity. These new sensations flowing through him.......to have them suddenly taken away? He could see why she had started crying. But there was one very frighting part of her story....
"A person can become unbound? H...how? What happened?" He asked, a slight panic in his voice.
The boy had not heard the ringing. Although he probably could have had he been paying attention, (He was supposedly one with Flit after all!). But the earring was far too far away from him.

"He was killed. Died by the hands of my very own father." Fae said in a mean and harsh voice, which was surprising, even to her. "I-I'm sorry. You are so young, it's hard to make myself explain these things to you." she said hastily. "But you are bound to Flit, as I knew you would be, considering your lineage." she threw out quickly with a watching eye at Ryu. She had no time, she had to explain all of it. Ryu's panicked look confirmed it. He was growing a love for Flit, Fae could see it, and saw the tenderness forming on Flit's face as the faerie affectionately curled between the little boy's fingers. Ryu didn't know it, but Flit was the exact same age as him, so their binding seemed all too perfectly timed. Fae knew the legends, only the elves knew the prophecy that was wound within those legends. It had started, and it was all Fae's fault. She must fix it, and Ryu was the way things would be righted. But he had to know. "Ryu, I need you to listen to me." her eyes growing distant and controlled, Fae looked to Ryu, not at, but through him. Her eyes in a dead pan stare. "Ryu, who are your parents?"

((Awwww......that was supposed to be a weakness. One of their deaths would result in the other's. Balence is a key thing in RPing. 3nodding ))
"My parents...? I....I don't know." He admitted, looking down at the table infront of them. "I was adopted. The parents I live with don't know eiather," the boy said, sighing. "But what does that have to do with Flit? Or with you?"

(((Remember, Flit didn't know for sure......she's too young to know. Fae is MUCH older, older than she looks.....roll with it.))) Fae's eyes grew ever distant. Slowly, mechanically, her arms hovered above the table, and a bright ball of blue light appeared between her palms. A strange gold bracelet, not on her hand, but on her left palm, turned bright white, like it was hot and pulled from a forger's brazier. Fae began to chant slowly, "Star lights and heavens bright, I welcome your fathoms, ever your humble servant, I ask for your grace and your knowledge, with me, share." as she finished the ball of blue light manifested a glowing sphere of glass, and Fae lovingly wrapped her hands around it. She blinked, and her eyes became clearer as she finished summoning her soul magick. "Ryu, I do hope you trust me." she said as cast a tender look at Flit.
Flit had been contented with Ryu's warm hands the entire summoning, she had seen it before so she wasn't paying attention, until Fae looked at her with only a look her mother had given her. Flit didn't understand the expression upon Fae's face, but adored Fae's attention and was warmed by gaining it so sweetly. Flit quickly darted from Ryu's hand, leaving behind a glittering trail of greenish sparks in her wake. She flew to the bookcase nearby and poked inbetween books, looking for something. Fae's soul magick ran deep through the store. It enveloped everything it touched. But it was also a protection for them all, a cloak of pure power, hiding them from dark things that seek strong magicks. Flit came back from the bookcase her face somewhat solemn as she placed a gold box with dark rubies set into the lid in front of Fae. Flit sat on the box to open it, reaching between her knees to catch the clasp and tug it open. The lid sprang open to reveal a deck of cards with gold filigree scrolling on the backs. Flit grabbed the edge of the top card, and floated up in front of Fae so only she could see the other side.

"Tarrot Cards?" Ryu asked, looking on all that had transpired in awe, with the exception of the cards. The cards couldn't help but induce a certain degree of skepticism. Sure, he believed in magic, but the boy was keenly aware of magicians and illusionists who faked it, ruining the belief for countless children.
But Fae's sphere....the magic now lacing every corner of the building.....the enchantress would not have unleashed it for something fake. There was no way....
Nodding solemnly, the blue-crowned boy said, "Yes...I trust you, miss Fae."

Fae heaved a sigh of relief. Ryu trusting her was the first step. She could see the awe in his face as the magick spread through the room. "I don't do parlor tricks if that's what you're thinking" Fae giggled. Turning a serious face to her card, her relief was confirmed. She plucked the card gently from Flit, whom went back to sit with Ryu. Revolution. The card of changes and direction. A picture of shining silver knights astride white stallions in a row, a banner of the golden sun as their standard. Fae flipped the card around so Ryu could see it, and as she did, a symbol of glowing alchemy appeared in the air behind it, and one under Fae's palm with the bracelet, on the table. Fae placed the card on the symbol on the table and tried to think of how to explain even deeper to Ryu. "I am your mother" Fae blurted out. 'My soul-bound partner, was your father. His name was Maru. He was a ranger, part of the Silver Order." Fae looked at Ryu intently, gauging his reaction and hoping....

Ryu's cyan eyes widened, both his hands falling to the table with a resounding BANG. "M...my......how............Mom?" He asked, slowly moving his right hand to touch the tips of Fae's. Silver Order...? What is......I can worry about that later....
