((can we stop talking about trains? I have no idea why one was even mentioned, and I doubt there will be a train in the story. At least for right now. And I see I didn't know it was happening elsewhere. Thats a shame.))

Tobais stopped and turned toward the person whispering to him. "Falcon? Oh, I think you do live a few doors down from me. Whats going on, do you have any idea," Tobais asked. He figured that she new as much as he did, but it never hurt to ask. Like Miss Jen always said, the only stupid questions are those left unspoken.

(I still live, just been busy. And I figured to wait a week or so for the whole forum spazzing problem to blow over.)
There was another ding of the elevator and this time Kev emerged from what was probably the fastest elevator ever. 'Never thought I'd see the day they fuel injected those things. Well looks like I'm late. Let's see....seen you before, and you. That's Hawk right? Eagle? Some bird name. And never seen that guy. Or the suit over there. Hm, never talked to myself this long before. Am I going crazy?'

The elevator ride to the top wasn't as long as Tobias had hoped. He had only just finished his question when the elevator doors had opened. A few other boys had already taken the elevator and were there when the doors had opened. Tobias was expecting to see yet another hall way but instead found himself in a circular room. Behind the few other boys in the room Tobais saw a man sitting behind a large cherrywood desk. Because this couldn't get any more menacing or ominous Tobais though to himself. Tobias stepped towards the other youths and looked around, trying to find a face more familiar than Falcon's. He had nothing against her he was just hoping to find someone he knew better to make this whole situation feel more comfortable.

Faolan looked at the man, puzzled. "Sir, why are we here?" He gestured towards the other people in the room. The man ignored him and addressed the room. "Children! I am glad to see you all here today. It seems as if we are missing one or two of you but that doesn't matter right now, although it will pose complications in the future...Andrew!" A man in the corner jumped. "Yes sir?" "Get these children something to drink." "Uh...yessir." Andrew practically ran out the door. He returned a few minutes later with a small tray, and handed the paper cups on them out to the children. Faolan sipped his carefully. It tasted like mint and honey. "Now, my children, you must be wondering why you are here." Faolan raised his hand "Um, yeah I just asked that." The man looked at him and shook his head. "Children must learn to not speak out of turn Faolan. Anyway, kids, you are here to save the Dome."

Tobais looked at the man puzzled. "What's wrong with the dome," he asked, "and why are we the ones to save it?"

Zak stayed quiet and near the back of the group. He avoided drinking the concoction that had been given to them, he was a little paranoid, especially here. Then, contrary to his previous thought he decided to speak up, "Is this about how cold it's getting out there?" he ask, raising his voice a little to be heard.

Falcon looked around as she sipped her drink and listened to the man talk, her drink tasted like lemonade with mint like her nurse made. when she heard that they were going to save the dome "we are just kids, how are we supposed to save this dome, i mean i know alot of us are smart like tobias or have athletic abilities or are able to solve stuff but were young and even if we save this dome our fate is the same, work, work, work, the rest of our lives"

((spelling and punctuation please.....and capitalize....))
The man smiled at them. "Children, all your questions will be anwsered if you would just be quiet and let me explain. Yes, Zak, it IS related to the falling temperature I suppose. The Dome is starting to fail. When the Dome's fail, the people on Mars are supposed to come back, and the world is supposedly habitable again. We can't let them come back. We need to save the Dome. It will be bad for us, and the Earth if they were removed. And little girl, how do you know what goes on in here? This is only the second time you've been here. The first time you were all here, you were too young to remeber anything. Please do not question my judgement and decisions again."
Faolan stood there, thinking. "This doesn't make sense. Why would you not want the people on Mars to come back?" the man looked at him. "Because Faolan, they will only destroy the Earth agian, and we, having lived in this community for several generations will not be able to tolerate the elements, of disease, and we will all die."

"How i know what goes on here is: I observe. Sometimes i stay up late and see tall figures walking about, too big to be one of us. I see them walk out threw the door from the work place and i sometimes see one looking at my window. I see 18 year old leave and never come back. That is how i know. Why would we want to save this dome? Maybe if the people from mars come back, we wont have to spend the rest of our lives after 18 working. We will be free, we will get to see our parents." by then her face was flushed from all the protesting. ((that better???))

Tobais stared at the man; looked him up and down. For some reason he couldn't figure him out, which was strange because he could usually figure people out fairly well, at least he thought he did. Setting his drink down and taking a seat in a nearby chair Tobais began to try and think of the correct questions to ask. "You said we were in here once before, but were too young to remember. Can you explain a little more? And please explain what we need to do to save the Dome," Tobais said. He looked over to Falcon. Her face slightly flushed from her out burst not too long ago. "Falcon, I understand what you're saying but think about it. This guy has a point. If they come back then we most likely would die. We've been caged up inside this bubble our whole lives that our immune systems wouldnt be able to handle anything too foreign." Tobais returned his gaze to the man and waited for a reply.
