Vicktor came up to Mabel and tapped her shoulder, "you're still new, it won't be happening to you until next week" again he laughed. Not about to give up the prospect of a raise he looked at Anoel over his shoulder, "can i bribe you with a date?" little did anybody know he really was desperate for a raise.

She took Demetri's hand and got up to brush herself off a bit."Thank you" She muttered and turned looked at Vicktor with a look of anxiety. Her hands were clenched tightly together. "You're not serious are you?"Mabel was not the type to handle jokes well and after hearing Vicktor's statement she impulsively knelt to the ground.
But before she could speak Mr. Vandorn had already spoken for her. She sighed with relief and slowly got herself together. What should she do now? The cafe wasn't open yet.

Thinking mostly to herself she blinked and watched the fiasco with Vicktor finally landing himself in Anoel's lap. And another first she found her face flushed when Demetri and Mabel's hands touched,she shook her head to clear it. Under no circumstance could she be anything but professional. she faced Mabel, "Vicktor? Serious? Oh don't worry dear he'll never be serious, in the meantime I'm just about to go through inventory, would you care to join me?"

Knowing that she could leave the room from Vicktor gave Mabel a sense of relief. At the moment she would do anything to avoid any further pranks he laid out in front of her.

she became somewhat startled as Mabel's arms slipped into hers, she really was a sweet girl. Showing her the way to the cabinets she started pulling down boxes of tea, "go ahead and pull down some of the boxes, if there is enough room in the new ones for what's left in the older box put them in, if not we can bag a few with those" she pointed to some adorable gift bags, "and sell them, 10 per bag"

Mabel nodded continuously as she listened to Ms. Burke's instruction."Yes, yes. mhmm...ok I think I got it."As she started taking the boxes down and repackaging each box. She couldn't help to keep her eyes off the adorable bags Ms. Burke had pointed to earlier. They were too cute, but she had to resist. Those bags were meant to sell and not for her to keep. She had to keep her act together she told herself.
Except she spoke too soon because she ended up knocking down a couple of boxes that she fumblely caught before falling to the ground. She immediately glanced over at Ms. Burke to see if she noticed and went straight back to repackaging the teas.
