Leaf Village|Sannin|Taijutsu|Lothar Clan Deil nodded, but did not look directly at Vincent. He did, however, give the kid a glance as he walked over. "I am Daichi Lothar, and as of a short while ago, I am the sensei of you, Hiniko, and Zin over there." He turned to Vincent, and used his peripheral vision to watch the fight. He gave Vincent a short bow before proceeding. "So, tell me, now that you are a genin, what is it you wish to do?" Daichi kept this question very open-ended on purpose, in order to judge the genin's character better.

Leaf Village|Genin|Katon User| Vincent took in the question and gave it careful thought. He was fairly certain that he was being tested on what kind of answer he would give but he had to be honest. "In a general sense, sensei," He began, "I'd like to become a better shinobi along with my friends and teammates. At a more specific level I'd like to continue in my training of Katon Jutsus." He gave his answer but he couldn't help but give glances back over his shoulder towards the fight between Zin and Haseo and hoping that Zin would win the fight despite how he told him not to get involved.

 Haseo Shimizu ||Genin||Swordsman||Nara||Manipulator of Flames|| xxxxxxHaseo's eyes widened as the boy's speed became even faster. This boy is getting faster and faster with every blow he thought to himself as he watched the ground explode once more. Looking for him, Haseo managed to see a faint image coming at him from his left..."No right!" he exclaimed as he quickly turned his blade to the side, striking down the sword that was to cut him down. He had barely done it, and the force of the impact sent him a step back. This was getting quite out of hand, and not only he felt the prescence of the Hokage upon them. He wouldn't be able to use his clan jutsus to stop his movements...he'd just have to rely on his sword. Haseo sheathed his sword, placing his right leg in front of his left. Turning his body sideways, he placed his left hand on the sheath right below the guard of the blade, his thumb pressing on it in order to launch it upwards. His right hand hovered over the hilt of the sword as he kept his eyes at all times on Zin. "Heh heh heh...friends are merely something that cowards hide behind. Using your friends as your scapegoat? You will never grow stronger by relying on them, because I assure you...there will come a day when both will be gone," he threatened with a devilish smile, though he wouldn't be able to see it.

Leaf Village|Sannin|Taijutsu|Lothar Clan Deil took the answer, and turned it over in his mind. Well, that he is willing to help teammates is good, but I think he misinterpreted. "Well, I guess a better question would be, 'what do you want to become?' Learning to use katon a good thing, but its not really a goal. Come on, set the bar higher." He smiled a little, thinking that the genin may not have thought everything out that far.

"Are you asking if I want to become a Jounin or a Kage?" He asked wondering where the sensei's question was leading.

What I mean by 'what do you want to become' is this: What do you want to be a beacon for? What morals, what...principals, what things meaningful do you want to represent? When people hear your name, what should they automatically know about your character? And don't say the village, I mean something more personal." Daichi figured that a little guidance would help the genin figure it out.

Leaf Village|Genin|Katon User| Vincent smiled as that part became crystal clear to him, "A beacon? I want to become a beacon of hope. My morals? That we may kill but our job is to save lives. What meaningful things do I represent?" He looked to Zin who was still fighting and to Hiniko whom he had grown quite attached to in such a very short time. Given that short time and how close they've gotten it was like a fire had started within him. A fire? That was when he had another answer. "I want to represent the same thing as my fire chakra: the energy and drive to keep going even in the face of adversity. To be the light in the darkest of times."

 Zin wasn't expecting him to break through the style that Haseo had as he seemed to have trained on it much more than him;especially since Zin was manipulating his style in the mist of a fight. The boy jumped back again as he panted a bit hard while light beads of sweat dripped from his lengthy blade hair. Zin's eyes remained on Haseo as those slits looked fiersomely thin showing that he was anything but what that 'innocent' smile was demostrating. The boy was so tempted to bite Haseo as his fangs lightly protruded from his tiny mouth as he resemled what a snake would do when aggitated. But he knew better than to bite with the Hokage watching them as he knew all to well about Zin's venom and it wouldn't be in his best interest to use an attack on a leaf ninja;even if the guy was rather a douche. Zin stood up straight,putting the sword onto his shoulder as he narrowed his eyes,"You really don't get it.....My friend's always make me stronger. They will push me to become greater and my sensei will push me beyond that. Your lone wolf routine will only get you killed one day....and your death will be a requriem of silence as no one will cry over you remains. Hehe,but why listen to a child right?"Zin said with a sinster,more fanged smile followed by the devilish giggle as he opened his mouth and put the hilt of the blade into his mouth. The way the sword felt it reached it's limit and Zin knew this would most likely be the final attack for his sword and he would give it his all. Putting his sleeve hidden hands back together Zin went back into perfect execution of jutsu form,"Bushin no jutsu!"He said softly as another clone came out. Zin was going to go all out with this last attack and he knew he wanted to make an impression on not only the onlookers but mostly Haseo;no one.....will look down at him ever again. Zin,just like Haseo re-sheathed his blade,sliding it inbetween the thumb and index finger as if whipping blood from the metal before putting it back into it's ragged sheath. His right toe began to bounce as did his clone as he started to push all of his remaining chakra into his feet;after this fight Zin would probably use plain Taijutsu will little Ninjutsu unless the fighter is like Haseo;Battojutsu took alot out of him or at least his version of Battojutsu did."Let me tell you the style that you have been fighting......It is called Shukuchi......and right now...I am three steps under Shukuchi."Zin said as he bounced his foot faster,adding more and more chakra into his feet as his clone continued to mimic him,"And it is the style,"His feet started to make a small hole into the ground he stood on,"that will make me...,"Light vibrations from the ground would be heard at this time,"become stronger than you......hehe....don't get beat by a kid!"Zin said flicking out his tounge before feinting from the spot. This time two pairs of feet,paralleling each other charged at Haseo. One of the pair was Zin,who was moving his feet faster to make up for the sound of the clone who was as before a distraction. Since neither showed emotion Zin hoped his technique would work this time as he launched himself in the bodiless blur.Haseo,and any onlooker would see,that during the final attack Zin made him and his charging clone run in a single file at one moment of the barrage. This was to throw off,hopefully,Haseo from the whereabouts of the true Zin as they split off at the last second each striking at Haseo's sides. One would be attacking with the blade blunted,while the other,who was Zin,attacked with the bladed part. If my blade...is going to break....let it at least be for good cause!(( Three Steps under Shukuchi 4/4 Complete))

[A regular Bunshin is basically nothing but colored water vapor. It cannot actually attack. It lacks substance. Also, just so you realize that using only chakra to move that fast, without any real speed training, will most likely tear so many of your leg muscles that you won't be walking for at least a week. I don't think that a genin with relatively no chakra-related taijutsu training nor speed training should be able to move that fast.] Daichi Lothar

You can change it or leave it, but I think this would make a better one.] Deil watched Zin pump a large amount of chakra through his body, and Daichi knew chakra augmentation when he saw it. As the chakra built up, Daichi reached down and pulled the weights off his legs, and placed them on the ground.

(( Oh I know it can't attack. ^^ I just am using it as distraction,which is why I had Zin make extra moves to ensure his distraction would succeed. And I do realize the 'dangers' of doing such a technique without true training but if you look at all the jutsu's Zin had used during the fight he didn't really have that much chakra left. If anything,he'll come out with a sprained ankle or a....very severe cramp. X3))

[Name of Technique:Three steps below Shukuchi
Type of Technique:Battojutsu
Technique Descritpion: The user feints. The only thing seen is their feet running at them. The attack will usually only come from one or two directions: Right or left. The move is initiated by tapping their running foot on the ground; the foot will noticably speed up until the user wishes to initiate the technique. A shinobi with equal speed or a lesser doujutsu will be able to keep up with the attacker.
Range: From the user to the attacker.
Meaning that you are faster, but not THAT fast. I'm thinking like the "fang over fang" type speed. To vanish is simply impossible using that move.]

(( Correct ^^ It's a blur. The only thing seen is the direction that the feet are going. Zin simply feinted again. ^^))

Panthers7 Zin said flicking out his tounge before vanishing from the spot. [Right there you said you vanished, like a Rock Lee type speed. You're not that fast, only Fang over Fang fast.]

(Deil, it clearly says that a shinobi of equal speed can keep up, meaning that you can see him as clear as day, but for someone like me, who's a genin, has trouble with it. The technique gives him a slight edge over people of the same rank. Now if you please, I'm trying to finish this fight. He's not godmoding, nor does he plan to ever...so how bout it...wanna let me finish my fight?)
