In a building some distance from everyone else in the RP, Dahry was finishing her last preparations for Christmas and the New Year. She hummed as she decorated her black tiled laboratory. Her 'pet', Teerce, was helping in this endeavor. She was giving presents to everyone(all the factions) and she had picked them out specifically for them. For the Descendents, she was giving them a new Jenovah clone, for Avalanche, she had a box of Mako cookies, for Shinra, she was firing Reno. She sighed with pleasure as she considered how thankful all the factions would be. She was honestly giving them presents that she felt they would appreciate. Of course, Firing Reno would be the best present for Shinra, maybe the Turks would finally live up to their potential with him gone. The Mako cookies would give Avalanche justa little more bite to go with their bark, and The Descendents could always use another groupie. Of course, she also had a present for #7, he was the most bitter Jenovah clone and maybe he would feel better in tune with the magic of Chrstmas after he had gotten his present. She was going to activate some of his potential, so he should be happy too. She would make sure that her gifts were recieved shortly. Of course her New Years gifts weren't ready yet, so she would just set them up so they could be finished in time.

"Oh my that is one hell of a gash you've got there" exclaimed Xuriel with surprise, he walked over to the 'Call Nurse' button and pressed it. "Haven't you ever been in a hospital before?" enquired Xuriel, "Oh and my name is Xuriel and your's is Valens am I right?" there was a silent pause, "I haven't stalked you this kid who found you told me, ok?" he added quickly.

furry1337otaku "What?... Why...should I be dead? What did I do? Please tell me what it is I can't remember!" She cried as well, the clear droplets welling up in her now brownish-green eyes and spilling down her cheeks. "Please, where am I from, where do I belong, who am I?"A small warm hand touched Vaizel's. "Please Nii-san, sis...she's lost...please help her...I tried to help find her place when she lived with me, but Gramps didn't like her...he said she didn't fit in with normal people...maybe she fits in with you?" The girl's large brown eyes shimmered hopefully. "Maybe you can find her, because no one else can..." Vaizel winced at both Sabel's and Connie's words, remaining silent for several long moments before he drew the strength to answer. "You....y-ou lived in Neibelheim.... I, .. don't know if you were born there, but that is.... where you lived. You were a waitress at the local Inn, and.... you were a very.... kind and innocent young girl. And your name was 'Kimberly Dawn Ahren'." Vaizel paused smiling sadly as he slowly lost himself in the memory. "You asked everyone to call you 'Dawn'. I think that place is where you found Kuroi.... He was tiny, and almost featherless, and you took him in,....even though he was the ugliest baby chocobo any of us had ever seen." He laughed a little at that, but there wasn't much happiness in it. "I ......knew a young man, who.....had really.....fallen in love with you...." Vai started to choke as he spoke, and could no longer look Sabel in the eyes, "We all thought you loved him back.... but,.... one night.....you both....made a mistake....he,...tried to stop some one he couldn't,....a fugitive...and.....he.........died......." Vaizel's eyes slowly raised, as he peered anxiously at the young woman before him, trying to gauge her reaction. "You,....were taken, by ....an insane scientist.....and he changed you....." Vai's pained eyes glanced over Sabel's hair and her eyes, the black cloak.... and he turned around with a forcefully stiffled sob. "Into what you are now.....you a sick because of what he did....." Vaizel turned completely away from Sabel at this point, staring in his pain and agony at Fenrir, as if daring the ex-turk to correct his omission.

Vaizel turned completely away from Sabel at this point, staring in his pain and agony at Fenrir, as if daring the ex-turk to correct his omission. Fenrir made a barely preceptable nod. His eyes closed slowly, Garm was able to see the sparkle at the corners. The ex- Turk said nothing as he quietly moved away from the door. It was enough. He quietly slipped past Vaizel and Zaber and knelt beside Sabel ignoring Dr. Amadeus hovering in the background, Kurio looking daggers at anyone who even moved wrong way. He picked up the weakened JENOVA clone, surprised at how light and frail she felt. He then started towards the hospital bed, intent on replacing her in it.
Garm watched from the dorway, he did speak. " Vaizel Teufel.... you were aptly named. There are those who are said to be haunted by inner demons. It seems Fenrir's demon is of a different kind," Garm's eyes were measuring and his voice thoughtful.

Sabel was quiet as she absorbed the information and Fenrir carried her back into the hospital bed. "Wh..who..." She paused contemplating her question in frustration. "Who were they? The one who loved me and the one who did...this to me?" As she spoke the second part of her question she scowled in disgust. "I think I remember the second...where is he?" Though she was weak and injured, it was clear she was now resolved to hunt down and ruthlessly slaughter the late professor Hojo. Fortunately for the mad scientist, he'd already been put down comparitvely painlessly by Avalanche two years before. "I will find him and kill him the moment I can walk under my own strength." Her eyes began to gleam more vibrantly as her anger began to solidify into a killing rage.
"Hey Niisan, waht about the boy who loved her? Was he cute?" Connie asked precociously.
The young girl's words snapped Sabel out of the Jenova-assisted rage, the Descendant blinked several times and shook her head in confusion, her eyes returning to the muddy brown color. "It's okay Connie really...it doesn't matter...." After all, best to let him rest in peace...no one would love what I've become... "Who killed him?" Sabel had decided she would devote the rest of her now-short life to slaying those who'd done these things in the name of Vengeance before she died, for already she felt the pain of her Geostigma returning.

((Thickening? It's practically Congealed!!!))
Vaizel turned at Sabel's questions, chuckling humorlessly, "The scientist, Hojo, is long dead. He was already killed for his crimes. ...... The man who killed your ....freind, was also killed. Already too much blood has been spilt on the vengeance....of ....you...." He shook his head as if mourning the loss. "Too much time wasted while you were thought dead. So many......so very many people were killed to avenge the both of you...." He trailed off in a whisper and then turned away as tears once again streamed down his face, His shoulders shook, but no sound escaped him. Many minutes passed before he had regained his composure, and when he turned back around his face dared anyone to comment on the moisture in his eyes. "The best you could do for his memory, is to live your life in happiness, and peace. As he would have wanted.... It was all he ever wanted for you...." Then he turned and walked away, whispering to a nearby doctor that Sabel should rest.

Zaber watched this scene unfold quietly, trying to no avail to hold back tears. This was just too farmiliar. He and Vaizel were more alike than he thought. They had both spent years greving and seeking revenge. And now, Vaizel was getting a part of his life back. But Zaber knew this would never happen to him. He knew Syrene was dead because he had to bury her himself. At this thought he turned away from the scene and walked away, afraid of having a mental breakdown in front of everyone.
He forgot all about Vincent as he walked back to 7th Heaven. Seeing the numerous hung Christmas decorations cheered him slightly, but nto very much.

OCC: Just to clarify with everyone, it's nighttime on December 22nd. Zaber lay asleep in the bed he'd found in one of the backrooms of 7th Heaven. He was tossing and turning, his wings bent at odd angles beneath his shifting body. He was having a dream. Or rather, a nightmare. Quote: Zaber and the three others were approaching the large ruin near the top of the foot of a mountain. The three with him we're DMM, Melody, and Syrene. They are all younger, by about two years. Zaber is dressed in the same outfit, but it is new, not torn and blood stained. DMM wears a bluish monk robe, and Melody, a black dress. The fourth person, Syrene, is an 18 year old girl with green hair wearing tomboyish clothes ((use your imagination)). "Come on you guys, we're nearly there." Zaber said as they approached. "Yeah, and what's so good about being there? We're going to be too tired to fight." Said Melody in a whiny voice. "Suck it up already! You're the one who wanted to come!" Shouted DMM. "Would you two stop it!" said Syrene. They got to the large ruin a minute later. Melody collapses to the ground, dramatically gasping for breath. Zaber runs his hand along smooth stone wall. "The Forgotten Capital... looks like that old man in Cosmo Canyon wasn't spouting bull after all." Zaber said. "What makes you think he'd come here anyway?" Said DMM. "Because we've been following him you twit!" Shouted Melody. Zaber walked into the deserted ruin, and the other three followed. Later, they reach a large room with a balcony looking down on a grand hall below. It was covered with water below, and the floor was composed of stepping stone like platforms. "Look there." Said Syrene. She pointed to a girl dressed in pink crouched, apparently praying. Just then, a black shadow fell towards the figure, and blood sprayed the air. "It's him!" Said Zaber excitedly, but not loud enough for the people below to here. A blonde man appeared for a short time, screaming as Sepiroth. Sepiroth set a monster on them, and lept up, landing on the balcony, his back to the four of them. Before Sepiroth could turn, Zaber was bearing down a slice from the Requiem at him. Sepiroth's Masamune flew from it's sheath to his hand as he blocked Zaber's attack without even turning. "Haven't you had enough yet, little boy?" "Not till your rotting in hell!" Zaber pulled back and went into a flurry of attacks against him, their fighting moving into mid-air until gravity eventually forced them downwards. They landed on opposite sides of the room from eachother, staring eachother down. Sepiroth glances to his side and sees Melody. "Hmph. You survived. How surprising." "You b*****d!" Melody pulls the iron short sword from the sheath at her side and runs at Sepiroth. "You'll pay for killing Audry!" Sepiroth blocks her sword with his index finger, a small trickle of blood running down the golved hand. Melody looks shocked. DMM lunged at Sepiroth, seemingly transforming into a half-man, half-dragon as he lunged, his fingers turned to sharp, thick white claws, and his skin was replaced by green scales. His attack strikes Sepiroth's arm, leaving a small line of puncture wounds. Sepiroth flicks his wrist casually, causing the Masamune to swing and strike both Melody and DMM at the same time, but Melody much harder. She fell to the ground with a huge cut across her arm. DMM was knocked to the ground, and Sepiroth drew back the Masamune and struck him as if he was swinging a golf club. DMM was knocked several feet and unconcious. "Melody!" Syrene ran to her side and pulled out her materia and frantically started casting cure spells. Zaber rushed forwards with the Requiem, launcing giant swings at Sepiroth. Some Sepiroth blocked, some he simply dodged. Sepiroth landed in front of Syrene and was getting ready to swing at Zaber when Zaber managed to grab his wrist, stopping the swing. Zaber struggled, and dislodged the Masamune, which flew spiraling several feet away. Sepiroth tried to move and take it back, but he couldn't move. DMM stood on all four's on the otherside of the room, casting Demi, drawing Sepiroth to the ground. "Zaber, do it now!!!" He shouted. Zaber swung a giant swing at him, but the blade passed right through him. Sepiroth dissapearred in a cloud of black smoke. But Zaber had swung with so much force, he couldn't stop it. The blade kept going until it struck Syrene. She screamed as she was struck, and collapssed to the ground. "Syrene!" Zaber threw the blade aside and rushed to her, but before he could reach her Sepiroth rematerialized, the Masamune in his hand, as he struck Syrene... Zaber awoke with a start. He pulled the Coin of the Ancients from the pocket inside his coat, it was glowing omniously. "Why... why are you making relive it? Why?!?!" He threw the coin at the wall in frustration as it bounced and rolled back towards the side of the bed. It stopped glowing. Zaber sighed and placed the coin in his pocket again. he tried to go back to sleep, but he knew the nightmares would simply return... OCC: Sorry about having to cut it off in the middle before. I had to do leave, I'd typed most of it, and I had to post it or lose it.

OOC: Yeah, it's all gooooey *pokes the thick plot* eewwww! It's sticking to my finger!!!!
Sabel was again quiet as she considered Vaizel's words. She didn't know what to do...After so long, searching for her past, she had finally discovered it...yet it changed absolutely nothing. She may as well have died two years before, for all the good it would do her now. Bemused she allowed herself merely to rest in the bed, mulling over these new facts, and wondering if she would ever find a true purpose for her life. Everyone hoped the ones they loved would live happily, but no one ever did, and Sabel hadn't the slightest clue how to go about doing such a thing to begin with. What made her happy? Playing with Connie and Kuma is sometimes fun...but I still feel empty inside...how will this go away? She watched Vaizel leave, and wondered for a moment who the man himself was, he'd never spoken the name of her 'lost love' or himself. Now that she thought about it, he had seemed rather unstrung about the subject. Well, at least that's something to do, figure out who he's suppossed to be... She sighed and resigned herself to the dull fate of recuperating.
Connie nodded at Vaizel's parting words. "'Kay Neechan, I'm gonna go and let you sleep, it's the best way to get better when you're sick! Kuma will stay with you and keep you company if you feel lonely, he needs to rest too." The girl instructed her elder seriously. Then with a giggle the girl bounced out after Vaizel with Kuroi following in tow, as the bird was reluctant to remain so comparitviely still. He wanted to run now that he knew his rider was safe. "Hey Niisan wait up!" The girl called in a friendly manner, skipping up to the man's side. "How do you know Neechan?"

((Just don't EAT the plot and you should be fine..... stare ))
Vaizel paused in his own reminiscing to glance at the exuberant young girl "I.... I was freinds with the man who loved her.... we were all freinds...." He smiled sadly and then trudged off again, this was very hard for him, finding Dawn after all those years, suddenly life didn't seem to have meaning! He had LIVED for Vengeance, he had existed to right the wrong which had been done....but now, he discovered that injustice was never completely commited! Sure Dawn had been changed, she was no longer the same, but Vaizel could no longer offer her anything. He might as well be dead as he had claimed to her. He definetally could never tell her,....that the man she had once loved was now a freakish inhuman monster. Vaizel reached the steps outside the hospital and slumped down, sinking his head into his hands. What was he supposed to do now?

OOC: Are you sure I can't eat the plot? It looks like molasses, and that's supposed to taste good isn't it? Like brown sugary honey?
Connie watched the man's expression and knew he was feeling bad. How do I make him feel better...Oh! I know! "hey Niisan, lets get you some rest too! I know a great place and the nice man in the santa hat will let you eat all the cookies you want!" With that the girl jumped up and grabbed Vaizel's hand tugging him toward the 7th Heaven. "Neechan will be fine! She was WAY worse when I first met her." She added.

((I'm not sure it would taste good,...might give you indigestion....))
Vaizel blinked several times in surprise at Connie, he had practically forgotten she was there..."Cookies?" He asked numbly as he let him self be dragged along by the little girl, nearly bending double to maintain ahold of her tiny hand as she ran. Way worse? He thought blindly, why hadn't he been there for her? He should have tried harder to find her! "I'm such a failure..." He whispered to himself, as he once again retreated into his own misery.

Hmmm do you think the plot has boiled to long? Maybe we should ad more milk..... I hate it when I misplace the Better Homes and Gardens Plotbook. Fenrir felt waves of relief, this interview had gone better then he had dared dream possible. He quickly snatched up some of the least battered of the roses. Handing them to Sabel he stated in an apoligetic sort of tone, " I'm sorry they're a little beat up, but they still have the courage to smell nice. Rest up."
Stepping away from the bed he headed back towards Garm. Hearing Connie's suggestion Fenrir agreed, " I think that would be good Connie, but um.... what about your parents? Were are they? Won't they be worried about you?" and then more to himself, " Perhaps Garm and I ought to take her home.... but the snowstorm is so bad...." Garm leaned against the doorframe and said nothing, this was Fenrir's show. The wolves too sat quietly like two great lupine statues.
