"Thank you." With one final bow he watched her leave the room immediately going for another pouch on his belt placing it on the ground. He opened up the small leather pouch taking out a few seeds from the bundle. He placed it in the dirt next to the window with a quick chant the seed sprang from the ground the vines crawling up the glass then blooming into an array of colorful flowers. He did the same to the other side as the vines stopped any prying eyes from watching his work.
it only took him a few minutes to bring the green house to life with little sprouts budding from the pots. many of the plants were from the plains, but He also managed to save some of the old withered plants that had long since died. the most amazing success was a withered apple tree that had jolted back to life with a spell now bearing the blooms of flowers. however trent refused to just make everything grow instantly he found it to take the fun out of growing plants.

Evermore smiled once more at Akira and then dropped her arm just as Professor Rose was coming out of the office with that Trent kid. Evermore blushed in embarrassment at being caught at eavesdropping and nodded slightly in response to Professor Rose's words. It was very kind of her to say that, and Evermore did believe her, but she was still worried that the Headmistress would be disappointed in her.
But, she sighed, squared her shoulders, and walked into the Headmistress's office.

Arielle looked at the girls. "Sit down," she said, gesturing to the chairs in front of her desk. "Evermore, Akira, it's been a while since I've had the need to talk to you about your behaviour. I had rather hoped I would never need to again, but it appears that I must." She sighed. "Now, do you understand that what you did was not only morally wrong, but it was very impolite and completely unbecoming of a Bai Ching student?"
Yes, she was going easy. She was actually thinking of not giving them any punishment after her talk.

The Fury nodded... well... furiously, and her eyes were huge in apology. It wasn't very often that Evermore showed this side of herself, but she was truly sorry... for choosing to do it outside of the Headmistress's office. She should have known better! Yes, she still would probably spy with her best friend in the future, but just not be so stupid about it! And it had been her idea! Akira had no choice but to follow her.
But the weird thing was that Evermore just noticed was that there didn't seem to be any anger coming from the Headmistress. Disappointment she could see very clearly on her face, but no, Evermore sensed no anger in her. But, maybe she had learned how to keep that hidden after all these years. You didn't become the Headmistress for nothing. She was hella powerful. So it was best if Evermore just went on the assumption that the Headmistress was at least a little angered rather than get comfortable.
"Yes, Headmistress, we know that it was wrong. Believe me when I say that both Akira and I are so sorry for what we did. We should have... *I* should have known better than to listen outside of your door, M'aam. It really was all my idea. Akira simply followed to see where I was going and to make sure I didn't get into any trouble... which obviously didn't work well. So please Headmistress, punish me, not Akira."
She was sitting on her hands in the Headmistress's chair, practically bouncing nervously. Not many things made the Fury nervous, but the Headmistress did. And that was also probably one of the reasons why Evermore admired her so much.

Akira sat down, her dog ears a little lower then usually, and her tail no longer wagging, but practically lifeless. This was a physical sign that this hanyou was very sorry for what she did, not the spying of course, that was always fun! But spying right infront of the Headmistress's office had been a huge mistake.
the girl nodded along to what the Fury said- until she mentioned that all this was only her best friend's fault!!
"Wait, what?? Nononono! I didn't exactly stop you or complain ya know! I was the one that gladly listened in, Ever! But still, thanks" she smiled warmly to her best friend, the looked at the Headmistress, a serious look on her face.
"Headmistress, i'm at fault too, honest. If your going to punish Evermore, i won't let her take all the blame when it's my fault too, so please punish both of us."

Evermore laughed softly at her friend and shook her head slightly in gentle disagreement. "But I was the one who went first. I was following the anger that I felt, and I didn't stop to think of what exactly I was doing. It was very unbecoming of a Bai Ching student... of any mature young woman. I am truly sorry, Headmistress."

Finally. Good Lord, finally. After half an hour, Angel had finally deemed her acceptable with a pair of heels. Which was why Kenny, feeling righteous, was walking barefoot through the halls towards her dorm, torn skirt thrown over her shoulder with the heels, since she'd been wearing her gym shorts under them, anyway. As it was, she got some strange, condescending looks as she strode easily down the hall, barely dressed and covered in bruises and scrapes, already healing thanks to her sister.

Arielle just shook her head gently. Yes, the girls of Bai Ching definitely felt like her daughters, some more than others, and the two in front of her were grand examples. "Meine Töchter*," she said, "Worry not. I can see that you do understand your wrongdoings, and I respect that. Now, regarding your punishment, I want you to..." she glanced about her office "...come back here when your classes are over. I will have something for you to do. Do not be late, ja*?"

((My gosh I love your Headmistress character so much, Secret! biggrin ))
Evermore gasped and shot her head up to look at the Headmistress. There was hope in her eyes, and then a small smile started to spread on her face when she saw the sincerity in the Headmistress's eyes. Of course she was sincere! The Headmistress always was, and she was always fair. And she had still called them her daughters. She was afraid that the Headmistress might be so disappointed in both Evermore and Akira that she never would have called them that again.
Evermore was beaming at the Headmistress now, and she just couldn't contain her relief. She got up from the chair, walked quickly over to the Headmistress and hugged her. Yes, she hugged her. It wasn't very formal, but she had a pretty good idea that the Headmistress wouldn't mind it this time.
"Oh thank you, thank you, Headmistress Krause! Thank you so much. We'll be here right on time, we promise! C'mon, Akira! Let's hurry to class and let the Headmistress get back to her work!"
She gave the Headmistress one more quick hug and then quickly ran over to the office door to wait for Akira.

Akira's dog ears had twitched and a look of surprise had been directed at the headmistress, until the hanyou grinned brightly that is, her tail wagging once again.
"Thanks so much, Headmistress!! No worries, we won't be late!"
The half dog demon girl quickly jumped out of her seat, as Evermore went to hug the headmistress, and bowed, but a small thump sound was heard, as Akira was too excited, and had lightly smacked her forehead againts Arielle's desk.
"Ow!!! Err...I...ment to do that...Y-ya, let's go, Ever." She replied softly, rubbing her now sore forehead.

Evermore groaned softly when she saw Akira do something very typical. She simply shook her head and then chuckled as she held the door open for her friend. When she had gone through it, Evermore smiled once more at the Headmistress.
"Thank you again, Headmistress."
Evermore then closed the door and started racing down the stairs. "C'mon, Akira! We have to hurry or we'll be late for Professor Rose's class!"
She ran and ran and ran. She ran down to the 1st floor, flying out the double entrance doors, and raced to one of the greenhouses, only stopping when she finally entered on time. She looked beside her while breathing hard from running so long and so hard to see if Akira was with her.

Miriam tended to her garden, which ate into the rest of her morning time before class started. Just after she had finished trimming a branch from one of the many fruit trees she grew so it doesn't disrupt another's growing path, the bell rang, signifying that classes will begin soon. So, with a reluctant sigh, she put her pruning trimmers down and prepared herself for her first class of the day: Environmental Science. She decided to get the most tedious and boring class out of the way and enjoy her afternoons gardening with her students.
So, she went to the greenhouse-now-turned-science building via one of the many tunnels she and she alone could use. It was actually a bunch of roots that were easily shifted thanks to her powers, and she was able to slide right through these tunnels. It was much faster than walking for her, and also explained how she was able to sometimes poof right next to people. It almost looked like she was literally sinking then growing from the ground. She practically blooms when she rises from the earth again.
Once she was in the science building, which she remodeled from one of the many greenhouse buildings, she gathered her materials for class that day. Today they'd be examining the results of different types of pollution, so she had several various cases set on tables the night before with different pollutants and various other things. It was a bit boring sometimes teaching this course, but she just had to keep reminding herself what she was teaching it for, and she felt she could make it through the day. So she stood behind her desk and waited for the onslaught of students to come in.

To which Akira was, breathing a littler harder then usual, but not as bad as Evermore. Besides that, she was feeling completly fine. Demon speed was very helpful sometimes! Still, her forehead stung a little, but that was to be expected. Ugr, her own stupidness annoyed her sooo much sometimes...
Thankfully, Akira's things needed for Environmental Science were already in the classroom, so she had no need to return to her room. Sighing softly, the hanyou prepared herself for one of the most boring classes today.
Although, she did smile warmly at Rose, when she walked into the room with Evermore.

Kenny sighed, collapsing onto her bed in her dorm. She had the room to herself, since Angel already had a roommate and no one else wanted to bunk with the demon girl. Staring at the ceiling, she glanced a bit guiltily at the little burn marks on the white ceiling, an accidental loss of control that had earned her a week of scrubbing toilets...fun.
