Lenore stared at the ship in awe. A real pirate ship...they really could be pirates now!
"Oh, Dei, Captain....it's wonderful." she said in reverent tones, clasping her hands together happily.
((I have to go - just pretend Len's staring at King all creepy-like and isn't talking >>; <<; Good night! ))

"Yes, and it's all yours." Rex said with a touch of pride, his chest slightly puffed.
"Do you like it?" Rex deflated and asked nervously. "There's a spell Uncle Gryff put on so you can place whatever you want inside, wherever." Well, Rex did not really know the interior layout of a pirate sloop, so... yeah. Let Deimos decide.

Deimos.. he didn't know quite what to say. "It's amazing.." He said, taking steps towards the ship. He gazed up at it as he stood next to it, and held a hand out touching the cool wood. His breath wavered again... So it was real..

Rex breathed a sigh of relieve, and followed after Deimos. "Well, she's all yours." The boy said, giving the wooden body a pat. "What would her name be?"
King yawned and shivered, feeling the cold getting to him despite being in a thick, woollen outfit. The t-rex huffed and looked down at Lenore, shivering even more. The girl's expression... 'twas scary.
"Rrruu..."

Deimos stiffened. A name.. He.. he needed to name it. He looked around for inspiration, something good, something snappy, but it was too dark to see much at all and dawn was nowhere to be seen. The horizon was black in the distance.. then it hit him..
"The Black Dawn.. Her name's the Black Dawn.." He whispered, his hand still stroking the wood on his ship.
"I have to go find the rest of the crew.." He whispered to himself. The ballroom, they were all there. 'I'll be right back!!" He exclaimed and set off to the ballroom.

Having been dragged by Deimos down to the lake side Reid finally managed to extract his hand from the vice grip the demon Mishap had had it in as as they approached the enormous ship. Deimos had been right, it was amazing in its own way. He'd only see things like this in the teev and even then they'd looked much smaller. This was huge! He had to crane his neck in order to see the top of the mast.
"Wow..." he murmured quietly with a flick of his wings.

Ike wrenched his arm out of Dei's grasp and stared up at the ship. He flicked his tail, his glare unwavering.
"Yeah. S'big," he turned and began walking slowly back to the ballroom.

Deimos shook his head at Ike. "Where are you going? Don't you want to go on. I haven't been on yet and I didn't want to do it without you guys." He said, his eyes darting to Ike and the ship. "I want my crew to see this. A pirate isn't anythign without his crew."

As mesmerizing as the ship was Reid found it easy to tear his eyes away and hurry after Ike, casting a short look and a shrug Deimos' way. He'd said he wasn't going to leave Ike so he wouldn't.

"Stop being a hass'l karliik," Clemmie sighed and grabbed Ike and Shammi and beginning to walk toward the ship.
"C'mon, Dei. I can't hold 'em forever."
Ike, defeated, went limp (aside from his grip on Shammi, of course). His ears folded back and swatted Clemmie repeatedly. He was not being a meanie head...

Deimos grinned at Clematis. 'Perfect, come on." He said, grabbing onto them and leading them closer to the ship. His eyes searched the side, finding the plank that lead up to it and strating up. It was.. amazing, even more amazing aboard.
"Welcome, crew... To the Balck Dawn!"

"Big." Shammi said, eyeing the boat. However, she quickly noticed what the boat rested on. Water. Lots and lots of big water. While Ike might have gone limp, Shammi clung tighter than ever, wrapping her tail around his middle.
"Wawa." The chamelion girl whimpered, burying her face in Ike's shirt again.

Rex, who had been watching Ike's behaviour ever since he arrived, shrank back-- or at least he tried to, being the highly conspicuous eight plus footer he was. What was wrong? He... he did not spoil the mood by dragging Deimos away in the first place, did he?
Well whatever it was, the boy went limp, and followed after the group onto the ship like a quiet shadow.
Even King went limp, sensing Rex's unhappiness. The only time the tyrannosaur made his presence known was when he saw the chameleon girl in Ike's arm, and rumbled curiously to her. His tone was strangely comforting though, as if to tell the girl not to be afraid.

The rumble made Shammi slowly turn from Ike, looking around for the source of the noise. It was a big, big, BIG brown person. She looked up at him, eyes crossing at the distance, but managed to make out something that kind of looked like a head. But it was big. "Meep." She meeped, eyes still crossed.

And then back to the ship. Reid followed along happily, glad that the back and forthness of it all seemed to have finally stopped. Still worried about Ike he followed on the Mishap's other side silently as they boarded the ship.
Glancing at shavi he pet the frightened girl's armm glowing warmly in an attempt to calm her down. As King rumbled he couldn't help but look up and over to notice the tall Mishap. The firefly mishap blinked, his wings flapping slightly as he was stalted by the tall boy's presence.
