"Bah...okay," Ike followed quickly behind Jabir. Why did they have to move? The only difference was the river. Ah well. He watched the older Mishap climb the tree and smirked.
"Cool," he murmured before leaping up the tree himself. After his growth, climbing had become quite a bit easier. When he reached the tree house, he ducked in and sat cross-legged on the floor.
"Whaddya need to talk about, then?"

Jabir sat down as well. Even then he'd had to be careful not to bump his head on the ceilling
"You. Maggie told me your eyes are quite different than they used to be... too much for such a short time. What happened?"

Oh no.
One of Ike's long hands fluttered to his face for a moment before dropping back down to his lap.
"Some guy attacked me...but...Liam saved me," he shrugged, trying to be as nonchalant as possible, "It's nothing."
Mummy had told him many times to not bother anyone with what had happened. It was better to keep to yourself things that had done no real harm, she'd said...and nobody had really been harmed aside from William and Julian, right?

"It sounds a bit more than nothing to me. I know something is not right, I can tell by your reaction"
He sighted and lowered his neck in a worried manner
"Look, it's my job to make sure everyone's safe. But I'm alone and I can't deal with everything at once" he put his hand on Ike's shoulder "Please, just tell me what happened"

"Everybody's safe, I promise," Ike wanted to stop there, but he couldn't. At the moment, Jabir was a bit of an idol to him, "Erm...'kay. There's this guy William 'n he was in my mum's friend's head for a long time. He...killed him and went off, but then the friend woke up...so...William got mad. He came after Liam 'n Julian 'n Mummy 'n then he took us all...err...me, Reid, Miss Jizzy, Miss Crow, Miss Chao, Liam, my mum, and Julian...to this dream place. We were only there for a few seconds, my mum said, but he tried to posess me. He got in a little, but Liam stopped him."
He was again going to stop, but felt compelled to ramble further.
"Really, the only people in trouble were Julian 'n Liam but William brought us all over because everyone was in my room, so I guess he just wanted to...'n if we told you then he'd come after you 'n everyone else so...am I in trouble?"

Jabir's tail was thumping violently with anger against the wooden floor. But it wasn't because of Ike, but himself
How did I let this happen!!! Aurgh, I'm so stupid sometimes!!!!
"No, you're not. It wasn't your fault" he took a deep breath before continuing
"Keep on. My own safety means little to me and by no means I'll let him harm anyone" his voice has nearly a roar at this point

Ike's eyes grew wide, and he scooted back a bit, but it was more out of nervousness than fear.
"Uhm...that's...that's all," the boy squirmed a bit, and his accent again went inexplicably British, "That's all you get to know, anyway, you bloody monster."
Ike clapped his hands over his mouth as his ears folded back, now truly frightened.
Wasn't me, he thought, although he was afraid to speak, Wasn't me!
He just shook his head.

Jabir's eyes were now slits and his expression hardened as he heard the sudden change

Ike shoved himself quickly against the wall. It wouldn't do to be torn to shreds. After all, William was apparently inside him...
"I'm sorry," Ike mumbled through his fingers, his accent back to normal, "He does that sometimes, though not usually when people are around."
You're weak. It's easy to gain control.
"Shut up..." Ike murmured as he buried his head in his knees.

"For what? For him to be too much of a coward to face me. Or he's just to much of a wimp to take over?" he had a large mockery grin stamped on the face
"I though so" he pretended to take Ike's head burying as a sign of defeat

Ike went completely still for a moment before his back arched. He gave an angry huff and looked up, his eyes now completely blue.
"Are you calling me a coward?"
The voice that escaped his lips was no longer his, but William's. Or Liam's. Either way.

"You have no..." William was obviously getting quite angry, "I destroyed entire cities in my lifetime. I burned them to the ground with the men and children still inside. I had no armies, mind you. Just me." For some reason, he felt as if he had to prove himself to the big blue...giraffe. If he couldn't make him believe his power, though, he could always go the alternate route.
"You couldn't protect your own little leigon of mutants from me. How does that make you feel?"
