Yes, some verification would be nice- this is internet, afterall, and rumors fly, especially about celebs and Gaku is a big celeb. Not picking on you or ganging up or anything, just saying for something as interesting as this fact, verification of the source would be needed.

Thank you for sharing ^^. You found out something interesting about Gackt and wanted to share it with the group, nothing wrong with that. And we're not saying you're wrong- that very well could be Gackt's real name, but the source is not a reliable one. Its a "could be right, could be wrong"; its on a fan's website/ shrine to Gackt. Its still just speculation- can not be disproven or proven.
Don't get me wrong, fan sites are great places to learn more about your favorite artists (though the info they contain may or may not be incorrect) but as far as "proving" something goes, the only way a fact can be proven to be true is from an official source, such as Gackt's own personal website/ blog or an interview, etc.

Not starting an argument or anything, but just because info is repeated in other places does not make it accurate/ official- again, the only way to prove something such as Gackt's real name is to hear it straight from the horse's mouth.

Yes, the fan site's creator even said that it is speculation. That "according to researchers his name might be Saturo Okabe".
Again, thank you, Ami, for the info. I will post that it is a distinct possibility that Saturo Okabe is his name. ^-^
