 A yelp came from Haveni as the lightning sizzled near, confused as what she thought was a villain shielded her from it. The sudden confusion caused her to lose her grip upon the embers, which had been losing their light from the thick barrier, anyways. They dropped from the air like hail, making sizzling noises as they slid against the ice.
Indeed, she was no fire element, but if the embers were there, she could manipulate them, as she could any other not-too-large object; at a price, of course. Using that poltergeist element which was birthing inside her ate away at her own life to use it in such raw magnitude as she had earlier with the ice spears.
She listened to their words. Her own kind, the kind she had tried to protect, had said this was her fault. The ones who caused it said otherwise. Was she truly betrayed by her own kind?
"Poor little shadow," the voice in her mind said, soothingly. "My arms are open to you... Don't you want to be a whole person again?"
She ignored Ruin's voice inside her. Her breath was ragged, her body weakening from using that strange element so much. Yet, she pointed an accusing finger again at them. "You...leave." She placed her right hand over her right eye and forehead, wincing. She was in great pain inside, and now she knew why. She was possessed by the dead.

Rosel was already dodging downwards when Noctis stepped forward, and the bullets went harmlessly overhead. Not completely harmlessly, she heard a few mindless behind her fall heavily to the mud. "Manners...?" She growled, caught somewhere between confusion and outrage. Here they had come to maim, kill, and destroy, and Noctis dared to stop and lecture her on attacking a crying woman! No doubt he was attracted to the unstable woman; it was well-known men did ridiculously imbecilic things when faced with a prospective mate.
She was willing to set the fight aside for Seir; he seemed to have a larger plan that she was willing to go along with for the time being. But this Haveni, the result of the idiocy with Noctis, was now telling them to leave? Who was she to be giving orders? Rosel had to admit, if that inferno had been directed at her, she probably would have listened and left more than promptly. But as it was, she looked ready to pass out, and was certainly in no position to be giving orders.
Rosel stood up slowly, eyes on the pale form holding her head in pain. She chose her words carefully, keeping Noctis in her peripheral vision. No doubt she was about to receive another lecture and a few bullets for daring to contradict a woman in mental strife. "And just what if we don't want to leave just yet? We were having a grand time until you showed up." Ready to dodge again, lightning danced over her arms.

The little ones found refuge behind a tree and hoped to be out of danger.
"This is getting more and more confusing, don't you agree Sage?" Epona asked the little rabbit. The later nodded and frowned. He knew they could be easy targets and his sister was very absent-minded at times. He had to keep an eye out for the both of them.
"I feel so helpless...but I'm too little to help anyone." The phyrefly sighed. What could two children do in such a battle? Jade went back to figthing and it was clearly painful to her, the children could tell. "No, surely there is a way to stop all this."
Sage made a face. Here she was, being all idealistic and naive again. He knew there was no simple way to end the conflict but he also knew they weren't completly helpless. They just needed to know WHAT they could do.
As he looked around, he noticed rocks and big pebbles at their feet. He took one and showed it to Epona with a grin.
"Rocks? What? You want us to throw rocks at the enemy? I don't know..." she replied to him with a hint of worry in her voice. But the little bunny was already scanning the battlefield for its first victim....

Perhaps, Rhyme's words had more weight than she had previously thought. She had lashed out so boldly and hastily, but only after seeing the destruction around them. Haveni.. seemed.. sincerely agitated.. Obviously, Rhyme's words of pointing the blame was the cause of her agitation.
She struggled to stand up, noting sadly that her kimono was stained with too much with unidentifiable stains. Not that she wanted to identify them all anyways. It took much difficulty for her to approach the area near Haveni, a small distance away. She didnt even know if she could go closer. "H-Haveni..? " She timidly asked, her nervousness obvious. Ikuto stood not far behind her, ready to shield if Haveni's wrath turned against Rhyme.
((Gotta figure out Noctis's reaction ))

Frei was surprised that Haveni seemed to be on their side, at least for the moment anyway, which meant Ruin wasn't there. Or, unbeknownst to him, in control of Haveni's body. He had no idea how Haveni was struggling inside at that very moment.
He sent another water-based energy ball flying through a crowd of cursed that were in his way. Bodies already littered the field as more fell on top of them due to his attack.
He was about to run for Haveni when there was a sudden burst of energy. Fire met with ice. "So...powerful..." he muttered as the rush hit him, sending him flying backward. He landed, but not without taking a little damage. His legs were scraped up along with his hands and elbows from shielding the fall. Frei called upon the blue waters to rain over his wounds, cleaning them. He swirled his finger in the air and a little rain cloud appeared just above it where little sparks of lightening danced about. The water covered his bleed injuries, soothing momentarily.
In fear, he could only watch to see what would happen next. Who were these other powerful constellations? And why were they taking credit for the chaos? Only time would tell.

Though exhausted and losing more and more of her strength, Haveni's face flickered with a bloodchilling malice as she directed her attention towards Rosel.
Barefeet trudged on moist earth wet with melting ice and blood, past Noctis and those near her, past Rhyme and Ikuto, until she was very close to Rosel. A shoulder was slumped slightly, as she did her best to maintain herself. Strands of hair the color of starlight slid over her face, half-covering one eye.
"If you don't want to leave..." her voice was soft, polite yet laced with unfathomable violence. "I can show you what it's like to be possessed by the dead." For many spiritkind, it was the loss of your very existence to be in a state of possession. A body made tangible of ethereal spirits could not stand to be invaded by another dead soul, so full of anguish and spite. To be possessed by the dead was truly a terrible, disturbing thing for any spiritkind.
Haveni extended her hand towards Rosel. "Come, I will show you, then!"

And she let out an almost insane laugh, letting her ropes strangle and break bones. The tears began to fall freely, as Jadecrystal caused a circle of destruction, and the insane giggles began to rise in pitch...

Aeos pulled away from Seir to stagger up on to his own two feet. His wings were strewn with dirt with small debris stuck between the feathers. He shivered and tried to realign himself, a bit disoriented from the unwarranted transfer of power and energy back and forth. Lifting his gaze towards Haveni, as the girl demanded they leave, he wondered briefly if Seir would listen. However, since he knew of Seir’s pride, the ice Constellation knew the answer to the demand would undoubtedly be a negative.
He shook his head once more and leaned down to pick up his fallen blades from the ground. His surprise flickered briefly when he heard, not Seir, but Rosel answer the white Constellation. Gaze lifting towards the two women as Haveni neared Rosel, mild panic flared. Because he’d been under the onslaught of Haveni’s wrath for a round or two, Aeos knew that nothing the candle-maker, as she was now, brought would be a good thing.
“Don’t just stand there,” he snapped at Rosel, leaping up from the debris around him to speed towards the two women. His blades flashed, though Aeos wasn’t quite sure whether he wanted to kill Haveni or knock her away from Rosel.
Seir watched it all with mild interest. He had never truly understood Aeos’ personality—seemingly coldhearted, but still possessing some warmth and strived to do things for the sake of honor. Was he a knight or a fool?
As he had not been one of those who had seen firsthand how Ruin was unleashed, the thief could only wonder what was causing this disruption of his plans. Well, not too disrupting, he thought as he turned his attention towards his minions. Though some had fallen from Haveni’s power, there were still many who continued to fight and wreck the village. They would until he told them to stop.
His eyes fell on the strange jade Holy Beast galloping around like a stampeding piece of cattle, frightened and likely being more of a nuisance than doing any good. Seir rolled his eyes, letting a thin layer of water cool and brush off his wounds before his attention shifted back towards Rosel, Haveni, and Aeos. Was there time to play games?

Rosel knew a false temptation when she saw one. Granted she hadn't expected to see anything more out of the strange woman who only a moment ago appeared beaten and exhausted. Such a confusing creature...
Her hand lifted of its own, and almost took the offer out of mere curiosity before she stopped herself. Looking past the limp strands of hair into fathomless eyes, she was suddenly grateful for her own veil separating them in its own small way. She knew Aeos was coming soon to interrupt, she could hear his footsteps pounding through the mud and see him as a pale blue blur in her peripheral vision. But Haveni obviously had access to a massive amount of power, did this come from her supposed possession?
"Tell me," Rosel asked quietly, for Haveni's ears only, as she eyed the hand with suspicion. "Will it give me power?"

 "It tears your existence apart." she replied, her lips curling into a bit of a sordid smile. Without another word, she closed the distance between them, grabbing both hands onto Rosel's face.
Rosel would immediately feel it - the loss of control, the crushing weight upon the heart as everything inside is replaced by the most invasive feeling. Horrible laughter, murmurs of the dead inside the mind. Try to move and you'd find you can't, you're sinking...try to see, and everything becomes dark, try to hide, and you are blinded by a horrendous light. Oh, so many emotions, tearing and ripping at your existence. Heartache, as if you had watched your most precious one killed horribly, slowly, and they were crying out and reaching for you the entire time. Violence...the need to cause harm to anything around you, the unquenchable thirst for revenge, for bloodlust, constantly being countered by fear and self-repulsion.
But worst of all was the feeling of melding with the dead, as they slowly but surely consumed your very essence, your very existence, until you exist no more.
Haveni released Rosel. She had only touched her for a few short moments, but she knew it would be enough to give her that full effect of feeling, even though she could not actually pass any of the dead who possessed her into anyone else. She could only share with them the sensations, but she was sure it would be more than enough.

Not in time.
Aeos hissed, realizing he was too late to save Rosel from an experience she wouldn’t soon forget. She was like Noctis in a way, but swayed by the temptation of power rather than women. Pressing his wings more tightly against his back, he sped towards the two Constellations without pause. Even if it was too late, Haveni was a moonfolk that could not be spared for the sake of Seir’s plans. The white Constellation was too much of an unknown variable because of her unstable mind and powers.
Or rather, Aeos suddenly realized, she wasn’t quite that. Because of their invasion, the chance of Haveni coming to their side was slim to none. Yet, with the way she was acting now, the chance that she would docilely return to being the sweet candle-maker of the village was even slimmer. She had nowhere to go, except to wander around in search of… what? Aeos had no idea and didn’t want to, but he hadn’t wanted to involve himself in this mess in the first place.
Finally, Aeos was on them. The ice Constellation created a slim, knife-like layer of ice over his blades. They were practically invisible to the eye, but they would give him a longer reach and no one would know the difference. He landed before Haveni in a ready to spring crouch. Aeos’ own pale eyes regarded the milky white complexion of the other Constellation’s physical and mental state.
“You’re in pain, aren’t you?” he commented quietly, digging his feet into the ground. “Death will bring you none. Because, as you are now—unresolved and…” Aeos looked at her, recalled her words. “Possessed. You don’t belong anywhere else.” He launched at her, blades tight in his grip and angled to slash her down.

Epona watched with horror Rosel and Aeos attacking her. She couldn't take anymore of this. She ran toward them. "Stop!!! Stop fighting!! We shouldn't fight among ourselves!!" she screamed at them.
Sage blinked and turned around to see his sister run into trouble. He dropped his rock and ran after her.

((Wao I missed a lot! Woot!) Ro'ark found himself tossed to the side by the force of the blast, the two powerful elements, opposite in design colliding together in a huge burst of energy. Creating enough impact to separate the poor fire twilif from his companion frei, at least momentarily.
Covered in bits of dirt and scrapes a few hot drips of blood slipping free to splash across the ground leaving dark little burn marks and embers in their wake. Hissing softly as the fire that coursed through his veins healed the small wounds away leaving tiny glowing scratches to attest to the fact he'd been wounded. Frei had been right about her being powerful, yet he'd never imagined aeos to be strong enough to be able to survive such a strong attack..A second blurry glance cast upon where the icy constellation had been revealed the truth, seir..the cause of all this current trouble, taking advantage of the plague as well as his followers stood there seemingly unfazed, looking just as smug and happy as a cat with its cream.
"F-frei?" He muttered and glanced around spotting the ghost that hung off of the twilifs horn before he actually spotted frei. "There you are!" scrabbling to get to his feet ro'ark stumbled over to the still sitting male "Frei..you okay.." his new found companion seemed a bit shaken.
`````````````````````` Daskri gasped and coughed roughly, brushing ash away from his hair and his shoulders as he climbed free of the debris, the monsters around him he'd just been battling with either dead or injured a few survived from the shock wave blast of fire and ice and were slowly regaining their composure, starting once more to wreak more havoc.. Daskris saving grace had in fact been a collapsed building, the debris had caught and shielded him from harm where his paint had failed. "Ouch..Goodness they all play rough.." to believe that the maiden had been so powerful..to see seir move in at the last moment and save aeos, well had he really been saving aeos? Tsk the dark raincloud constellation seemed far to selfish to ever do anything that didn't serve his own evil purposes.
Shaking off his own soreness and the annoying headache that was slowly forming in the back of his skull, daskri pushed himself up and slipped free of the cluttered debris and fallen bodies. Nimbly stepping out into the mud like ash, smudges of the stuff covering him as he took a change to look over the chaos. Narrow green and blue eyes widening as he caught sight of aeos again, again he was after that woman! "Aeos have you no shame!" daskri shouted forlornly at the attacking constellation, though he doubted aeos heard him at all.Couldnt he just leave her alone? More importantly there was seir..daskri suddenly realized the cause of all this was standing there seemingly focused on the battle between his brother and the others, mayhaps this would be a good chance..
s**t. This lady wasn't a damsel in distress. She was lethal. Lethal but gorgeous, but what did that matter? Too much had happened in such a short time span, he stood dumbly there.
God, Noctis was an idiot. An idiot for not being able to make a choice. Defend his 'allies' or the lady?
"Whoa whoa--- Aeos, wait-- Isnt there something else you can do besides slicing the pretty lady into pieces?!" He asked the other, eyes widening. A loss of a pretty lady to the world was a disaster in Noctis's mind indeed. There was still time to convince Haveni over to their side..! .. Or not. But still.. Noctis couldnt see what was happening to Rosel, Haveni's back blocking his view.
He leaped up onto a rooftop, his lack of ability to fly had him attempting to jump onto Aeos. The manual way, of course. "Damnit, Aeos, I said wait, you idiot...!"
Tears slid down's Rosel's face. The sensation startled her and she lifted a muddy hand to her cheek. Looking belatedly down at her fingers, she couldn't tell if the tears were there or not. Her breath was shallow and irregular. It shook her body. Or was her body shaking her breath? A slow moan escaped.
Something was moving in front of her. It was something she knew, but it hurt to remember. Remembering. Remembering. Remembering the dead.
It was as though the feeling were there again, wrapping her existence in a death shroud, too tight to move. She wondered hysterically why she had so much sensation bombarding her before she realized her eyes were open. And people were talking.
She didn't want it, it was too much. Stumbling around backwards, she saw the shade of a tree, a burnt, dead tree, and moved towards it.
