I totally loved it, it's my only Rpg for the CC, but is was one of the best Rpg's I ever played. It's exaly one of the very few Rpg's I played out
Most of the time I stop right before the ending
Reasons? : 1. I don't wanna stop playing
2. I love the characters too much
3. The endbosses are just too though
I play Rpg's for the stories so in the end I went trough the game way too quikly and my charac were just too weak

I'm at a part I didn't even KNOW existed. =3
They have this level in a book, see, and it's 15...by what I read...and you lose this soul fire and you die while going 15 levels and some floors disable some of your abilties and such.
There are special character endings? oO?
I've gotten a few costumes. yaay!
and by what I read, it was also for PS2...which that has a few different things than the GC version. ^^ yeah, it is also for the PS2, but it's only in Japanese. So...unless you know Japanese, you'll have no idea what everyone is saying xd No, It never came out for the PS2, your thinking of Tales of Rebirth which was going to be released for the PS2 (has nothing in common with ToS storyline wise) but It was scrapped and canceled the came Namco shipped for the PS2 is Tales of Legendia, not as good as ToS in my opinon abit too childish cel graphics. Yes there are infact different endings, two of the most commons ones are one with Zelos, and one without (because you killed him after picking Kratos to talk to etc.) Theres tha ti've gotten when Sheena and Lloyd have the highest relationship between the characters which took me three times through the game to get it that high, can't remeber it but it was quite funny No, I've seen special Japanese versions of ToS and unique cutscenes. I even have the Japanese opening song for the game. It might not have been released for any of us though...it might only exist in Japan sweatdrop Yeah, I've gotten the relationship thingy with almost everyone xd It can be very amusing. Once I got it with Presea and I was like, "Woah eek This is......interesting......." Indeed, Tales of Legendia's graphics aren't as good as Tales of Symphonia's. In fact, I like the storyline in ToS MUCH more than the one in ToL (though ToL was a good game, I just didn't like it as much). One of the aspects I liked most in ToS was how well you got to know the characters. Many people can relate to the vast majority of the characters. Heck, I can relate to Mithos pretty well.

Iggy The Balrog I just completed it on GC and I absolutely loved it. It clocked me about 38 hours of gameplay, which is pretty sweet seeing how obsessively I played it. I'm quite mystified by the whole "alternate character endings" bit. How on earth do you access those? o_O Am I evil for thinking that Mithos is the most attractive one there? sweatdrop Zelos <3 I've clocked 20 hours! blaugh The first time I played it I clocked 54 hours though xd xd I don't think Mithos is the most "attractive" one there, but he IS SO DARN CUTE!!! blaugh blaugh *squeezes Mithos tightly* You're so cuuuute!!! whee Personally, I think Kratos is the most attractive male xd and Sheena is the most attractive female. Lloyd's okay looking, but he has a very nice personality. Regal---NO, not attractive at all, but he is pretty cool. Raine is pretty, Genis is cute, Presea is cute, and Zelos is....just too girly looking for me, lol. I understand some people think he's "uber hot", but I just think he's too girly sweatdrop

Not to spawn an arguement, there was not PS2 version of ToS, their weas indeed a Japanese GCN verison, (Same game completely on difference its in Japanese and the intro music is Stary Heaven, good song by the way but nothing else) But thats about it o.o; good game get the CD, don't be cheap and pirate it just buy it, i know its hard to find but the four CD set it awesome

really good game but was a bit short espicialy when my bros and I played together. we beat it in under 50 had almost every outfit and item
I liked it alot but probably wont play it again for a whyle

[I played as Lloyd the entire game, my sister played as Colette, since she can't do a damn thing on her own (I mean, how do you trip when you have wings?! AIR POCKET???!!!). I got the highest relationship between Lloyd and Colette. Their ending was soooo cute. heart ]

i absolutely loved this game. heart the beginning of the game didn't appeal to me much because i didn't like how it was all religious-like, but it definately grew on me. some people said the game was too predictable, and i agree that some parts are, but there were also a lot of plot twists that i wasn't expecting. the little character skits are funny and cute. i really enjoyed those parts because it was kind of like reading a comic. cool most of the characters are enjoyable like zelos, and the costumes was a fun side-quest. zelos's swimsuit costume was the best and lloyd's pirate one was cool. xd all in all, anyone who's bored this summer should pick this game up. the game has good replay value because all your choices affect the game somehow and you can't get everything in one run-through. 3nodding

i really want to play this game, but once again, im broke. stare crying why must this always happen? whatever, this game looks awesome and my friend (a guy) says that he is always stuck on part one. that'll show mister "i-can-beat-sly-at-any-game-with-just-one-hand". blaugh
