Pomme was tired but she obeyed and stepped in, closing the door behind her. She carefully put the smoking drink on the bed side table. She then stayed silent and waited as her ruler looked out the window wondering what Lilith wanted to discuss.

Probably the fact that you dragged her earlier in that room without asking permission first... she bitterly thought.

However the nature of Lilith's speech was of a quite different tone. Pomme blinked once wondering if she was so tired that she was dreaming standing, but she realized that no, that was really happening, the Princess was apologizing.

Pomme was taken off guard. She did not know what to say. She did not hate the Princess or anything but they were definitely not in friendly terms. But with such an intervention from Lilith's side, it was difficult for Pomme not to appreciate the gesture and swallow the resentment which was growing in her heart. The more Lilith had spoken and the wider Pomme's eyes and mouth were opened. She looked like a silly fish.

She cleared her throat slightly.
"I thank you your Majesty for your kind words." the woman was searching for words, not wanted to lose the small part of good opinion which she seemed to have earned.
"I am the one who should apologize for my behavior. You see...I am no Senerice." she paused and looked down. "I shall try my best not to disappoint you and to serve you well Princess." After that she bowed. She was wearing pants so she made a masculine deep bow but she hoped that Lilith would understand it as a mark of respect.

"I bid you good night your Majesty." said Pomme as she stepped back towards the door and opened softly. On the red hair woman's lips was a little shy smile as she looked at her ruler. Maybe after all that young woman would become the greatest ruler she had ever had.

As she closed the door, the smile widened and she headed for the common room with a bright smile across her face. All she wanted was to be accepted for what she was. She looked at the tall good looking man. She was partially back to her all chatty self.
"So Mister Lycan, how long have you been looking for us?" she asked as a casual way to interact with the cold man. She wanted to know a little more from the man before going for bed. She brought her own cup of herbal tea to her lips, waiting for an answer.

Destiny where do I find you?
Destiny where can I look for you?
Destiny where are you hiding?
Why are you hiding from me?
Destiny what do you have for me?

She sighed inwardly at Serenice's words. She really did need to clean up, but the moment she thought about standing up to get out of the chair, all her fatigue hit at once. Her eyes drooped dangerously and it was all she could do to keep them open. She had just enough mind to lay her staff down beside the chair before her eyes slipped closed and she was in her people Jhal os Paes, or Land of Dreams. In the Land of Dreams, her people could contact one another over long distances. Tonight though, no other dreams entered hers, as they had when she was bellow ground with her people. Since she had entered the World Above Ground she had no way of contacting her family outside of magic, and she resorted to that very seldom for she did not know if her power could diminish over time.

Destiny what are my options?
Destiny which door is open for me?
Destiny do you have anything for me that I might want?
Destiny can I get any satisfaction from you?
Destiny are you my friend?

One of Kaine's men utters a long sigh of relief as they enter the small cave the 5 have resided in since they escaped from the throne room.

"What is it Blair?" Kaine asks as he sits on his bunk, taking off the hated armor of the enemy.

"Nothing Captain, just that...will rescuing Falconer really help us drive the enemy out?" Blair asks as he stares at the ceiling on his bunk.

"Its a step in the right direction at the bare minimum, and the odds of us being able to find Serenice or the Princess before the execution are massively low in comparison of rescuing Falconer THEN finding Serenice or the Princess." Kaine replies, reading a small novel he carries around with him.

"I hope we can pull this off..." a third soldier says as he gets out a piece of salt cured pork.

"Have faith Rem, have faith." Kaine says, putting a hand on the man's shoulder and grabbing a piece of salt cured pork also "May the gods be in our favor." he says as a side-note before they extinguish the torches and go to bed.

Do you know what your fate is?

If Lilith weren't Lilith she probably would've laughed at Pomme's open-mouthed expression. She honestly looked like a fish. However, the princess wasn't about to laugh. She was too focused on what she was doing at that exact moment.

Once Pomme collected herself the older woman's attitude changed completely. Lilith simply watched her with an unclear expression before barely bowing her head. She didn't reply to what Pomme said and merely watched as she left the room, quietly closing the door behind her.

'Well I am glad that that is over with,' she thought to herself as she rose out of her chair and stretched. Her muscles were both delighted and rather unhappy about the decision. She stretched her arms over her head and held it for a few seconds before moving the chair back to facing the desk. She sat back down and scooted forward, picking up the cup of tea Pomme had prepared for her. She blew on it, sending curls of smoke away from the cup as she cooled it. Then she took a careful test sip, eyes locked back down on the maps and papers in front of her.

She drank a bit more of the tea before setting it back down. Her fingers unwound around the handle and she picked her pen back up. She dipped it back into the ink, out, and then resumed writing. The feather pen scratched softly against the paper, as if the talon of the bird that the feather had once belonged to were brushing against it. 'Such a long night this will be...' she thought to herself before the clouds in her thoughts dispersed as she focused.

{{I'll have to make an unsuper special awesome post format for him lateeeeerrr.}}

"Alright then, alright then! First things first..." Gidel sighed loudly as he scratched his chin, crystal blue eyes flickering up and down the large map that was spread over the table. He had to give Erion some credit- it'd taken his men ages to find this map and even this one wasn't all that detailed. It was better compared to the maps that they'd been using before, however.

"So we have searched here, here, and here... and..." he moved his hands across the map, making mental notes here and there as his frow burrowed. "I am honestly confused. We have searched every single inch of the areas that Princess Lilith could have reached and there has not been a single sign of her."

"Sire, maybe she used... magic?"

"It was always said that she was surrounded by mysterious beings." He replied as he ran his hands through his hair. "But we've already gone through that subject multiple times. There are no traces of transportation magic anywhere near the throne room. We know that the Ovet princess was in there but somehow she managed the elude us. Tell me, how many days has it been since we have started our search?"

One of the generals who was in the room with him opened his mouth and replied slowly, "we are nearing four days."

"Yes. Do you know what it's like having the king breathing down your neck, let alone the entire nation? If we do not-"

"PRINCE GIDEL!"

"Come in. What is it?"

A young man sporting a messenger's uniform came into the room, bowing profusely before saying: "Prince Gidel, there are rumors about soldiers trying to free Erion prisoners."

"And?" Gidel asked crossly as he tapped a finger against the wooden table in a display of clear irritation. "There are always rumors. Half of the men on my team were once spouting that one of Lilith's guard was a demon who's skin was as clear as, I quote, 'the veil of a spider's web.' Ah, and eyes as black as a still sea, or something around that manner."

"U-u-um, y-yes, but, sire, some of your sorcerers are insisting that you do something. With some of the soldiers inside of the capital still missing and, and..."

"Alright, alright, calm yourself boy." Gidel scratched the side of his head before waving at his generals. "All of you, leave. You, boy," he turned and looked down at the boy who was shaking in his boots. "Tell my brother Prince Hidoi to come see me as soon as possible."

"Prince Gidel, isn't he away looking for-?"

"Hell if I know! Go and find out." With those words he motioned for the boy to leave and the boy scampered off. His generals were already out of the room and now he was left alone with his pages. He sat down, sighing again, and rubbed his chin with his knuckles. 'Ah, damn you, Lilith. You must always make everything absolutely impossible, hm? Bloody woman.'

(The events of this post would be roughly 4 in rp hours after my last one)

A soldier bursts into the cave after unlocking the door "Captain!"

Kaine jumps off his bunk, grabbing his lance and pointing it at the man who just rushed in. "What is it?"

"Sir, we think we might've found...Serenice...." the soldier says, putting his hands on his knees and panting.

"Where, how, what evidence." Kaine says as more of a statement then a question, laying his lance on the wall and putting his armor on, nudging each of the other 4 awake.

"You remmeber Bert of the Fat Pig Tavern?" the soldier asks, standing to his full height.

"Aye, I remeber her daughter well to..." Rem almost takes that as an insult, since Lizzie was an old friend who he was going to propose to before the city was stormed.

"Well, shes dead, and, before you start yelling, sadly it wasn't the Mei'Q." the soldier says, taking a drink before continuing "She was beaten and stabbed, but their was no blood on the wounds."

The color drains from all their faces, they all knew no blood means a vampire, and the only vampire they all know is Serenice.

"Alright, we got work to do." Kaine says, finishes dawning his armor, kissing his lance and grabbing the sword he carries around as a Mei'Q soldier.

The rest of them suit up, and the band of 6 march through the tunnels, coming up near the Fat Pig Tavern...

Destiny where do I find you?
Destiny where can I look for you?
Destiny where are you hiding?
Why are you hiding from me?

As she slept, Samhailien's dreams were fraught with worry. The main focus of her dreams was the young Prince. She hoped she had done right in sending him with who she did. She hoped he was safe, and comfortable; he had many illness issues and she hoped he wasn't being tested to his limits. She also was berating herself for waiting to teach him how to access the Jhal os Paes. She had decided to wait another year, until he was old enough to control it, that he wouldn't always enter into her dreams. Samhailien dreamt of the night she had taken him away, after his parents had fled and while Lilith had a strong hold on the situation.

She was in her avian form, snow white feathers almost glowing in the moonlight. The child was in a makeshift sling across her chest, her feathers protecting him from the worst of the cold. Yet despite this fact, his small frame was still wracked with coughs. Samhailien faltered then, dropping a few feet as her wings stalled. She quickly regained her balance though and soared higher. That was where reality and the dream world collapsed for her. In the dream, they were attacked by a large eagle. It dropped down from the sky, landing on her back, beak and claws slashing and tearing.

She woke then, in a dead sweat. She put a hand to her forehead, cool fingers tracing a sigil of peace. The small spell took effect immediately, and she stood grabbing her bag that she had layed next to her. She quickly shed the clothes she wore and replaced them with her black robe she had worn while at the side of Lilith and her parent's before the young Princess, well Queen now. She had no other clothes with her, but she decided that the robe would not be so noticed out in public, so long as she created a fitting disguise for herself. She sighed quietly as she double checked the door, making sure it was locked. As an added caution she worked a small spell of protection on the door. It would keep out anyone with an intent to harm any of the occupants and would alert her should anyone enter.

((I am confused Silith, your character feel asleep on a chair in the courtyard where the hot bathes are...how can you check if the door is locked? There are no door. o.O))

Serenice noticed that the elf dozed off and did not go on the discussion any further. If the vampire was annoyed, now she was even more annoyed. She spent some more minutes thinking about her plan to free Falconer. She was running out of time. Tomorrow evening she would talk to the guard who was use to drink at the Fat Pig Tavern. Today she needed to do some shopping. But first she needed to rest a little. The vampire stepped out of the hot water and dried herself quickly. Wrapped in the towel, she headed for the room Mark had put to her disposition. As she passed the elf to head in the house, she assured herself that the woman was sleeping. Serenice smirked half expecting Sam to start snoring. As silent as a shadow, Serenice reached her room. She let herself fell onto the bed...it had been a while since she had slept in a comfy place. In no time, she was asleep.

Pomme yawned. It did not seem that Lycan was in the mood for discussion and neither was she after all. She stood up and wished him good night. After all if Lilith trusted him, so be it. She reached her bedroom and let herself fell on her bed fully dressed. She soon was sound asleep.

Mark was preparing breakfast when he felt someone behind him. He turned his head and jumped at the sight of Serenice wrapped in a towel.
"You scared me." he said annoyed.

"I am sorry. Would you have spare clothes I could borrow?" asked the vampire without further introduction.

"The closet in your room, help yourself." aswered Mark.

"Thank you." Serenice dropped a coin on the table and headed up. She found some brownish pants and a dark green shirt. She attached her hair with a green matching ribbon at the fashion of men. She put her boots back on. With her masculine features and those clothes which were not her usual beloved black, she looked very different. She even found a brown hat with some tiny feathers. She raised an eyebrow at herself in the mirror and went back to the kitchen.

Even Mark raised an eyebrow at the sight of the vampire. "You look like a man." he commented without joy.
"Breakfast is ready." he paused.
"Is that your friend in the courtyard?" he asked.

'Friend' might not have been the proper word but Serenice nodded. "I am not hungry." she lied. She needed more blood, but for the moment, she would do without.
"I need to do some shopping." she informed the man as she noticed that the coin was not on the table anymore.

Mark shrugged and started his breakfast.

Pomme woke up refreshed. She cleaned herself quickly and changed some of her garments. Once in the kitchen, she cleaned her dirty clothes and put them to dry. Then she prepared breakfast. The sun was rising nicely. Today would be gorgeous and the red hair woman found herself singing to herself an old folk song.
'If the sun is shinning...
Then your heart will be smiling...
'

Lilith Ishtar Daciana Valdis Gwenevere Ovet

Do you know what your fate is?
And are you trying to shake it?
You're doing your best and
Your best look
You're praying that you make it

The cup that sat on the side of Lilith's table steamed quietly for about five minutes. She took another sip of it and then set it back down. The water inside became cooler and cooler until it simply became cold tea instead of warm. Lilith hardly noticed, eyes too focused on the papers in front of her as she worked well into the night.

When Lilith woke up it was with an ache that had twisted and wound itself like a mis-shaped iron rod. She sat up, slowly, and groaned in annoyance as she pulled off a paper that had been glued to the side of her face. She yawned, rubbed her shoulder and then looked down at the desk that had unintentionally become her bed.
'I must have ink all over my face,' she thought to herself as she rubbed her eyes and then stood out from the chair.

When Lilith came out into the kitchen she'd washed herself (and gotten the ink off of her face), combed her hair, put it up and dressed herself. Pomme was in the kitchen singing a song that Lilith was sure she'd heard before. After a moment of thought she remembered that she'd heard soldiers and women singing it during the times she'd been out in the streets. It was an old song and one of many... yet hearing it somehow caused her to feel a little bit calmer.

She sat down quietly, hands on her lap as she glanced at the closed windows and then to Pomme. She was cooking something, that much Lilith could tell.

"Pomme," Lilith began as soon as the woman ended the old folk song. "We will be moving out of this house this evening. Despite the fact that it is a good and comfortable location it will only be a matter of time before the Mei'q Valuk army will want to know what is inside. You and I will be traveling underneath the alias that we are sisters," the princess paused in her speech to point out their crimson locks and fair skin. "You are my older sister. My name is Charlotte and our last name is Evak. We grew up in northern Erion but the fever that struck that area ten years ago came and took our family. We moved farther down south to be adopted by a farmer's family. Unfortunately when the war came the land was taken by order of Princess Lilith. We are traveling north now so that we can see if some of our family is in Farlestown. This is our cover story. We will actually be heading for the Maskves Mountains." Lilith stroked the side of her neck and waited a moment to let Pomme take in the information. Anyone born and raised in Erion would know of the Maskves Mountains. The mountains were infamous- simply on the fact that they were known for being magically twisted, taking the lives of almost anyone who dared to try and travel through it. "The Maskves Mountains are certainly not the safest places to be... but we will know the land better than Mei'q Valukian soldiers. While the danger is high for us death is certain for them. It is the only place that we can go and know for certain that we will not followed. And in the chance that we make it through we could see if there is any way to make a stronghold out of it. If we can find a way to protect ourselves from the cold and strong winds we might be able to set up a base there and regather some of the troops. It is the best place to hide and plan."

It really was not one of her best ideas- it was near suicidal, actually. However Lilith had spent the entire night trying to think of the best way to avoid the Mei'q Valuk and the Maskves Mountains was the only place she could think of. While there was little chance she and Pomme would live there was still a chance- some people had gone in and out of the mountains and survived. If anyone knew about the mountain it was Lilith. She'd spent plenty of time reading on the few documents that were left behind about them. It left the two of them with a chance of living. The Mei'q Valuk had nothing. They knew nothing about the mountains. It would be like sending a baby lamb into a den of starving wolves.

"I would like to pick people up on our trip there. If we can get there in a group and survive it could be a powerful stronghold on our side. Once we have enough forces we could push back. For now we must remain hidden, however. We must strike quickly before Mei'q Valuk can completely secure Erion but first I must be sure I have the proper force behind me."

((Things that are Striked are Mira's thoughts, but not clearly. Know what I mean?XD The post isn't perfect and short, but it'll have to do till I get rid of this dang headache. I think I'm getting something.~_~))

Mira stumbled into a tree. Hunger, bloodloss and a dizziness made it hard for her to walk. Sliding to the ground, she let her head rest on the trunk behind her. It had been days since she last ate a good meal. Her wound was getting infected to the point Mira was fearing the loss of her arm. Images played around in the air. She had been seeing more of them than before and they were still unclear to her. Though, one image appeared to Mira very frequently. Edging on the border of clarity. She was looking for it. She was sure of that, but unsure of where to start.

Irritation engulfed her. Those damn, greedy, and barbaric Mei'q Valuk. None of this would have happened to her if they had not attacked her village. She already lost everything. Maybe her arm. Did they also take the Kingdom? Mira strayed away from the thought. She had no idea what was going on around her. Even if they had taken the Kingdom, she was in no shape to do anything about it. After all, she was only a fourteen year old peasant girl.

Grunting, she stood from the tree and continued forward. She had to find it, whatever "it" was. The small group of trees cleared ahead of her. She vaguely wondered where the trees had started. The moment she cleared the trees, she stopped. There was a mansion silhouetted by the morning horizon. Or was it her mind playing tricks? Mira shook her head and nearly fell over. That was a bad idea. She waited until her vision cleared before she put one foot before the other. Only one way to tell if a building was an illusion or not. And she would not be able to find out if she did not make it to where it was.

Mira made slow progress across the grassy field. It seemed to her that there was a slight incline as she trudged forward. Vaguely, the young girl thought about turning back to the woods to grab a walking stick. Glancing back, she let the thought go as she was already half to what she believed was the building. The sun peeked up over the borderland to shine upon the land. Mira let out a hiss of air as the light reached her eyes. She lifted her left arm to cover her eyes from the light.

Relief washed over the red haired girl when she entered into shade. So the mansion was real. Tentatively, she touched the brick, 'or was it wood?', and used it to steady her weight. The world swirled around her head in sudden bright colors. The images that were usually blurry and just out of reach became crystal clear. The one she was searching for was a young woman. Older than Mira, but not by much. The woman had long auburn hair, deep piercing black eyes, and an aura that screamed authority. Behind her other images flickered. There was a man with a black bag over his head in a town, 'was that a city?' center near a fountain. That image faded to marching Mei'Q soldiers overlooked by a blue eyed imposing figure. More scenes flickered in and out of Mira's vision. They were too much for her battered mind and body to take in. Taking in a huge breath as if it was her last, she stumbled backwards and fell to the ground unconscious.

So put your faith in more than steel
Don't store your treasures up, with moth and rust
Where thieves break in and steal
Pull the fangs from out your heel
We live in but a shadow of the real
Step out from time, see the dust of nations

(The events of his post are about 2 minutes)

Kaine and co. gave their condolences to Bert and left, everyone was asleep...

Kaine barely notices the sound of the door being opened, he lays still, his hand on his dagger...

He hears muffled whispers, no one whispers when they're friendly in this base, Kaine sits up very quietly, working his way to the sound of the whispers...

He muffles the owner of the voice and stabs them in the throat for good measure, then his comrades to the left and right in turn...

He lights a torch, and is greeted by 3 Mei'Q soldiers, now lying in pools of blood, his eyes widen, then he wakes his comrades with a shout "EVERYONE, MOVE, THEY'RE COMING!" his 4 men jump out of bed, grabbing armor, weapons, food, packing up the entire base and grabbing pouches of dust and spreading them all over the room after Kaine moves the bodies into the main tunnel, everyone quickly and quietly heads down the tunnel, heading for the outskirts, then they hear clomping boots, at least two dozen Mei'Q soldiers, and everyone but Kaine and his second in command, Keegan, break out run, after so many silent kills the idea of open combat has them running...

As Kaine and Keegan hide in the shadows, waiting for the Mei'Q to pass, they see half a dozen spears go flying down the tunnel, accompanied by a dozen arrows, striking down Rem, Blair, and Ken...

The soldiers pass, and Kaine and Keegan are running for a side-tunnel when two soldiers look back and yell "TWO MORE!" Kaine and Keegan run, making it out of the tunnel...

They turn and see Blair, Rem, and Ken, they open their mouths to question it, then Blair shakes his head, and Kaine and Keegan continue their run, Keegan breaks off, heading for the Resistance HQ, Kaine is heading for the Mysterious Maskves Mountains, where a few dozen troops are hidden amongst its suspicion and magic...

For the second time in 24 hours, the poor Pomme found herself with mouth wide-opened, staring at Lilith.
She repeated "The Maskves Mountains?" The red hair agreed that they had to move, especially after the ease with which the messenger Lycan had found them and disappeared. However, walking towards death was not what she had in mind.

As she served breakfast in silence, listening to the Princess, she was trying to find other options. Going to the main city was another option and Pomme was thankful that Lilith did not retain it. The woman remained silent and sat.
"Eat Charlotte." she paused. "My name is Annick."
Pomme poured the first spoon of food in her mouth thinking that the Mountains were indeed the best place, to her dismay. The place was actually close to the City, enough to do raids towards the different grounds were the soldiers were kept prisoners. Mei'q Valuk was gathering Erion's men in the plains between the city and the Mountains, knowing that nothing would come from the north.
Pomme looked at the Princess and smiled. She would be a good ruler.

Their breakfast was interrupted by a thump noise under their windows. Pomme was on her feet at once and looked at Lilith with imploring eyes that she would not move. The red hair moved cautiously and silently and disappeared in the room next to the kitchen. That room was creating a L shape with the rest of the house and from the window she could see the kitchen window.

Pomme was surprised to see a young unconscious girl. She looked around, searching for signs of foes or danger. But the birds were singing without seeming disturbed. Pomme frowned and went back in the kitchen without a word. Then she opened the front door and disappeared for a moment. When she came back in, she was carrying a bleeding girl which she laid on the sofa before locking the door. Pomme carrying a body was a unique sight as she was so little.

Pomme decided to pour some clean water in a bucket to clean the wound, but she was at lost for she did not possess any healing abilities.

((okay, I'm uninspired and totally stuck. and so for easiness, I will just not do my normal posting structure. Instead, it will just be plain text, I may go back later and format it but probably not. Please excuse the suckiness of this post))

Samhailien had fallen asleep in a chair in Mark's front room after making sure the doors were locked and barred. Soon after Serenice left, she stirred. Samhailien slowly made her way to kitchen where Mark still sat. He had not seen her true form the previous night, and she hadn't bothered to replace her illusion. Her staff lay in her hand limply, her eyes still clouded with sleep. She stood in the doorway uncertainly, the man had his back to her and she wasn't certain how she should introduce herself.

Sure, many had heard about her, she was the only one of her kind on the surface world as far as she knew. But few knew her name. In fact, it was mostly those in the royal family, and guard that knew her. Mark was a common man, though her appearance enough should be enough to give away who she was. She bit her lip gently, not quite certain whether she should resurrect her illusion or stay as is. She opted for the latter, deciding that Serenice trusted him enough, then so should she. Samhailien knew she could pull it up at a moments notice should someone enter without warning, though that didn't seem to be too much of a threat.

((EDITED: Sorry, I just had to get something down first. I came back to it and found I could do a lot more. Sorry... again.))

"I'd better get supplies first I suppose..." its a massively long trek to the Mountains, and he has a small sleeping bag, 2 pounds of salt cured pork, one liter of water, and a small coil of rope.

He checks his pouch, enough gold to sustain himself for the trip, maybe get a horse, he puts a small sack over his lance and takes off his helmet, he walks into town, looking for a general store to ascertain supplies.

He takes to the side-alleys and small groups, stopping whenever enemy soldiers pass by, he works his way back to the Fat Pig Tavern, hoping to get some more sleep before he goes on his trek.

He enters the tavern, goes up to the bartender(can't remember name, sorry.)"Do you have a room I could stay for the night, oh also, I'm looking for a man named Mark, if you'd be willing to tell me."
