Amidst the chaos, Tasius merely grinned, his body curved as he got ready to leap at Kunii's throat if he needed to.
"I won't bring her back... and even if the box is retrieved, it will not open. Fable will never have a Fable... or one of her own that she can call hers, and hers alone." He began to rhyme, and did a backflip, now crouching in the dirt and curving his fingers into the earth.
"You're a pretty boy, Kunii, but not very smart." Giving a chuckle, he turned and fled, his grin etched on his face.

Kiarna looked for guidance to Sciz, Jay, and Io. "Nyuu~? Am I supposed to kill him~nyu?" she questioned, pointing to the fleeing figure of Tasius. She whirled her dice inquisitively. She seemed very casual about this entire thing, actually calm for once.

Io wasn't about to wait for Sciz's reply now. "One of you see if you can get the box back!" she called to the others. "I'm going after our meddling little dragon here myself!" And with that, she took off after him.
Even with the heavy scythe weighing her down, she was fast. Probably not as fast as Tasius was - he was a fit young male, after all, and she didn't exactly run track - but all she needed right now was to catch up just enough.
At least if she was getting in over her head it'd be far from the first time...

"Awwwwrrr~nyu," Kiarna whined. "But I want to kill him~nyu!" She didn't stop to argue any more, however; understanding the dire-ness of the situation, Kiarna shoved her dice at Jay to hold, then dived neatly off the cliff.
Several moments passed, before she resurfaced, gasping for breath. Shaking her head sadly, Kiarna called: "Sorry~nyu! Too deep~nyu! I'll need some sort of submarine, or at the very least scuba equipment~nyu to get at it~nyu!"

Jay was amazed to suddenly see Io dash off chasing after the dargon boy and then found dice being shoved in her hands and gasped as Kiarna dove off the edge of a cliff after the box. She rushed over as best she could with teh dice that felt like they were made out of cement and she promptly dropped them onto the ground and kneeled looking over the edge. She held her breath a long time until finally Kiarna resurfaced.
It was at this point that Jayoku wished she wasn't some plain and ordinary girl, if only she could control the elements she might be of some help. Looking down the edge of the cliff she swung a leg over and found a foot hold. Well the least she could do is find a safe way back up the cliff for Kiarna.
It took several slow minutes for he rto pick the safest way down the cliff and she found one little rock that she was able to balance on at the bottom. She was lucky this far her grace wasn't ....very good at times. "Kiarna you better get outof the water before you catch a chill or get a cramp in your leg." the thought of even going into the water seemed to paralyze her legs, she had a subconcious fear of deep open water. ANYTHING. just anything could be lurking in those depths.

Kiarna waved Jay's worries off. "Don't worry 'bout me~nyu!" she called back, swimming to shore toward Jay. "I'm like a little kid - cold doesn't bother me~nyu!" She put on her best 'little kid' face, trying to reassure Jay.
By then she had hauled herself back onto land - or at least a rock, next to Jay. "Okay~nyu, I guess we'd better get back up~nyu..." she said regretfully, casting one last glance at the watery depths before beginning the climb up.

Jayoku tried to nt show her nervousness and offered a hand to Kiarna. " you better get out quick." she cautioned again. THen to reassure the girl she also included a smile. "you tried your best though, I am sure we will figure out some way to get that box out of the water."

Taking the hand, Kiarna hoisted herself up the cliff. "A lot harder to get up than to get down~nyu, neh~nyu?" Kiarna attempted.
"I hope we can actually even find the box~nyu. It's sunk so far down, and maybe the current carried it somewhere, anywhere~nyu! It could be anywhere on the bottom of the ocean by now~nyu! Fable could be eaten by a shark~nyu, even~nyu!" Kiarna said worriedly; a drastic change from the usual happy-go-lucky personality of Kiarna.

Jayoku's smile didn't wilt at the situation that Kiarna described, it was still a gentle a reassuring one. "There is no point worrying about something we have no control over. I am sure that something good will happen, perhaps we just need to find someone who is more suitable for the task to come help us." she nodded her head and looked back up the cliff her smile crossing into a frown breifly.

(*laughs* Okay, I can't resist joining in any more, no matter how little time I've got.)
"What in the hell - " A voice came from the top of the cliff as a new figure happened on the scene, green eyes wide behind blue-framed glasses as she stared at chaos. Dark blue hair tucked back in a ponytail and a pale, almost elfish face fit well with her slender, short figure. Around her neck, she wore an amulet similar to the rune inscribed on Fable's piece of paper, and she carried what looked like a genuine sword belt around her waist, though at the moment it held a few daggers and what looked like a cross between a whip and a blade.
Rune blinked, confused beyond her usual 'what did I run into now' puzzlement. She'd gotten a bit lost on her way to find Kanth and Hamlen again, and so now was completely late. She recognized the boy, Tasius, as he vanished into the trees - she'd only met him once, but it was hard to forget the sarcastic little dragon. Though why there was a girl chasing him with a scythe, she had no idea. There were a pair of other young boys there, too, and they reminded her of a snake and a - well, a bear, maybe? Another guy with a thermos, fuzzy dice on the ground, and two different female voices down the cliff face.
Oooooooh boy.

Jayoku looked up as she heard a new voice enter the scene. Spotting Rune she gave a small wave before she then started finding the foot holds that helped her down the cliff. Up was a different story but she was slowly getting back up there. She dared not look down knowing full well she would fall if she did so. "Be careful Kiarna." she said loudly talkingt to the rock face in front of her. Finally she felt her fingers ouch ledge and she inched ever slowly over the edge and finally managed to pull her body up and onto the solid ground.

Rune blinked and hurried forward to help Jayoku away from the edge, looking doubtfully down the stone face. "Eeeek, you could have fallen and broken your neck." She shook her head. "Kiarna, was it? Let me help."
Holding out her left arm, she flicked her wrist, fingers moving in a quick series of gestures. A small burst of blue energy appeared just beneath Kiarna, lifting the other girl carefully to the grass of the clifftop. That done, Rune folded her arms, eyeing the assembly with a puzzled frown. "Um, hi. Anybody know what's going on?"

"But Jaaaaaaaay - " Kiarna began to whine, to protest her case. But then a new person spoke. She didn't even have time to add '~nyu' at the end. Ohh, the horror.
"Oh, I s'fine~nyu! Don't worry about me~nyu," Kiarna protested, as the strange blue substance seemed to lift her up as if nothing. The very second she was up, however, she fell to her knees and kissed the floor. Although she had acted brave and tough...she was in reality afraid of - no, terrified of heights. Not a good thing when you're climbing a mammoth cliff with no rock-climbing gear.
The second thing she did, was grab the fuzzy dice and wind it back into its rightful place in her hair. Swinging her head back and forth, the dice whizzed through the air, accidentally bopping Rune and Jay. She seemed satisfied.
And the third and last thing she did was: "Nope~nyu," she replied casually to the strange new woman who could make shiny things appear out of nowhere and lift people up cliffs. "I'm afraid I don't~nyu. This world has, in the last, dunno, hour at the most, suddenly gone jabberwocky in its entirety~nyu."

((Neh, Rune, I love the 'cross between a whip and a blade' part of your character~nyu heart It reminds me of Ivy from Soulcalibur~nyu...))

Jayoku was amazed to see this happen as blue light had brought Kiarna safely back up the cliff's side. Hapyp to see the girl safe she herself was sitting on the ground still pondering what the next step should be.
"Well...so far all we can tell you is that a woman named Fable was sucked into a box, in which that box was thrown over the cliff and into the ocean. Kiarna was trying to retrieve it but found the water too deep. She could not find it anywhere." She nodded her head confirming what she said in her own mind.
