Well I already posted this in the other Kill Team thread so might as well post it here. You all should try killzone sometime. It's a fan made rules set that expanded and worked out some kinks for Kill Team-ish gameplay. A few big tournaments use the system now. Download it on the left. It's basically killteam versus killteam, but they add a lot of custom wargear and rules that lets you really flesh out and customize your team.

My local GW is doing a 200pt Killteam campaign, so I thought 'Why not?'
So my killteam is a veteran squad of guard + autocannon team with an armoured sentinel + missle launcher.
So far I'm holding my own, the sentinel is a big help as most other players can't afford vehicles. xd

I think I might try and get my buddies together to do a small Killteam campaign before the end of the summer. Most of us have drifted away from 40k (tabletop, at least) and it'd be a good way to bring back some fun memories.
