{Kweh...[Oh my...]}

[Traverse Town: First District]

Up from his bow, Enyb gave the new human a quizzical look, head cocked slightly to the side. Why was this human scared? Enyb knew he was quite large compared to most humans, but for one to be scared of him was something quite new.

And interesting.

So...there are humans scared of chocobos? I never would've thought that, before. Maybe it WAS a good thing I got on that ship. Oh! Maybe he'll like that thingie I found before the ship.

So, as a show of good will and faith(and hopes to maybe figure out what it was), Enyb bent his neck and dug around in his travel pack, his beak grabbing onto the object(which, oddly enough, was a candlestick holder). With slow, easy movements, he placed it on the ground and pushed if forward with his foot, then took a few steps back.

"Wark. Warwarwark.[It's okay. You can have this neat thing.]"

[You aren't good enough for her... drop dead buddy]

[Traverse Town : First District]

With almost no chance to react to the male (Sory), Suzu had already answered everything that he threw at them. He was rather glad that he didn't have to talk, but at the same time he was rather sad. Kuu didn't trust any male that talked with Suzu because he thought every single one of them was trying to take her away. Although he wanted to drag his sister out of the situation another stranger showed up. It seemed that he was rather familiar with the first male, but the fire show put on by him surprised Kuu. He grabbed his sister by the wrist and pulled her behind him.

"To you good sir, I am Kuumaru Amemiya and the lady behind me is my sister, Suzuran Amemiya. We just happened to be visiting this town for answers. And now if you two will excuse us, we must be on our way..."

{You look like you fell down a tree and hit every possible branch on the way down.}

[Traverse Town :: First District]

Suzu had to suppress the urge to summon and douse Soryuju in water when she watched the flames sputter from his mouth. She was taken aback by it all, but overall their relationship reminded her of her relationship with her brother. She was about introduce themselves with a slight bow of her head when her brother spoke up... and she could've sworn she heard a little hint of resentment in his voice. Then she felt a yank at her hand and the feeling of being dragged.

"Kuuuuuma-chan! Stop! We might need their help! Don't you see? They're fighting the heartless too! Don't you want to make sure our home doesn't get attacked again?" Suzu said to her brother all the while trying to hop back to Hefin and Soryuju on one foot. "Please excuse my brother! Kuuumaaaa!"

"...The shadows beckon."

[Castle Oblivion::Fal'navi's Room > Kitchen]

"...Understood, Master Vereor. I'll take Zekvyr and begin the search immediately for this woman...Alice. And the world will be obliterated, just as you asked. Let us be off then...Zekvyr." The Alvi'kanei looked quietly over to the Drow, giving a quick clap of his hands as his gold and black robes transformed into his black Dragoon armor, including the infamous draconic helmet. The golden eyes seemed to glow with a resonance of death, and the Wrathful Dragon opened a dark portal with a quick wave of the hand.

"May the Onyx Dragon keep you safe."

"I'm leaving you all. I'm not going to put up with your bullshit and your rules anymore."

[[Traverse Town::First District

Nalo slowed his approach as he neared the chocobo. He'd never explicitly handled a chocobo before, although he's listened to his dad talk about them so many times at their dwelling. As he neared, he reached into his satchel and pulled out some gysahl greens, the last bit of 'forest' he had left. He approached the chocobo with greens in hand and offered it up to the bird. "Hey there big guy. You're a long way from home."

{Ooo goody.... What are we torturing today!}

[Castle Oblivion: Kitchen]

"Aw Aria your no fun........" she pouted like a little kid. Sometimes being in the Conclave was hard since no one wanted to play with her. She loved being in the Conclave however, because of all of the cool missions she had been on.

Ater she heard Vereor's list of missions... she found her name not listed. "I guess that means no one is gonna pair up with me eh?" she went over and got more tea and giggled in her high pitched voice. "Ah Vereor this isn't fun" she looked at him sadly. She automadically knew Aria would never pair up with her... and the others never really understood her and were all sad or with no emoution most of the time.

With that in mind she sat back with Aria and revealed inside of her box was just a game of chess. Anyone could play with her if they wanted but she started to play the game by herself.

Enyb jumped slightly as Nalo approached him. It was another human! Except with funny looking ears. But that didn't matter, cause he was offering sweet, blessed food!

Enyb bent to sniff the greens, recognizing the scent of the gyshal greens, and let out a happy noise in the sound of a "Kweh![Woohoo!]" Then he happily downed the greens and started rubbing his face and beak against the side of Nalo's head affectionately. Oh happy day, food!

"One day soon, I'm going to leave this place. I'll leave the safety of the wood."

[[Traverse Town::First District]]

Nalo smiled back at the chocobo, his ears brushing slightly against the chocobo's feathered face. Nalo let loose a weak grin and started chuckling. It tickled. "What's your name big guy? How did you make it this far from the safety of the wood?"

Nalo withdrew his hand and started to rub the soft down feathers on the big bird's underbelly for a moment before he sighed and gave it a big hug. It had been months since he last saw a familiar sight. Hopping from planet to planet on gummi ships was a terrible ordeal; not to mention the occasional heartless attack. Nalo never saw them, but he knew when they attacked, the ships shook when they went under fire.

"Tch... fine! Whatever you say Suzu, I'll listen to you. Besides you are probably right, these two seem like they might know more than what we do..." The boy calmed down a bit and slowly backed off and stood behind his sister.

"And why do you gotta call me Kuma in front of strangers!?" he whispered into his older sister's ear. "Big sister Suzu is being so unfair..." he whispered again and ended with a pout.

{Don't fear the dark... fear what's in it.}

[Castle Oblivion : Kitchen]

Keeping silent as others entered the kitchen, Zekvyr didn't move from his place by the door. In fact, as Aria walked in, all he could think about was how easy it would be to reach over and stab her lumbering form. Too relaxed, these people. This place was 'home' for them, an unusual concept that carried with it a false sense of security. Sure, Zekvyr had once called his world 'home,' but never had he made the mistake of feeling safe there.

That was why he was still alive.

"Come, Zekvyr, I've never met someone who disliked Paopu Tea. It relaxes the body and mind. Perhaps even the heart, not that I'd know."

Speaking as if reading his mind. Vereor had an uncanny way of doing that, although, he doubted actual mind reading was involved. His ever alert drow senses needed to relax about as much as he needed an arrow through his heart -an item he still possessed, and planned to keep, despite the lack thereof in his most of companions. Relax? In the company of these creatures, Vereor included? He must be joking.

"Relaxing is for the weak," he answered without hesitation, turning his head to look directly at the tea-obsessed Nobody. It was a subtle insult to nearly everyone in the room.

He watched the interactions of the others with a passive interest, saying nothing, but finding it all rather intriguing. There were fifty ways to die in this situation, and that's all his mind lingered around. Who could attack at any given time? Would they do it? If they won't do it, could he, perhaps, find a way to trigger it? Aria and Haruko's exchange looked promising... Perhaps the sleep-loving woman would finally snap, with the proper motivation. And then there was always Vereor; destroying the tea would be an instant solution to this chaos deprived scene.

The talk of missions had a distracting effect. The opportunity to be the cause of chaos on a massive scale was not to be passed up. He didn't feel slighted in the least when the mission was given to Fal'navi instead of him, just a bit disappointed he would miss out. That feeling was soon enough replaced. It seemed the fellow elf -if Zekvyr could truly call that creature an elf- had chosen him. Interesting...

As the dark portal opened, Zekvyr, senses alert as ever, stepped through. His heart would not be effected by the darkness of the portal. It never had been, and likely never would be. Darkness was as essential an element to him as water was to fish. He didn't fear the darkness. More fearful was the possible betrayal hiding inside of it, the creatures and monsters of the dark, stealthily killing... of which, he was one.

γζ & ΘяђɐʋϨ

[Currently Location: Traverse Town - Second District]

Life itself is just a curse before death.”

User ImageThe way those creatures manipulated the dark powers... the way they fought in harmony, surrounded, no, made of the darkness.
...It was beautiful
Though her castle had been overrun by those creatures, there was a sense of morbid curiosity that filled her mind, wondering just what they were, how they lived, and more importantly, why they plagued her castle and forced her, along with her companion Orpheus, to be driven out. It was a major setback, all of her work for over a century and a half had been within those castle walls, and now... it was all gone. Everything she worked so hard for had been destroyed by those damned creatures, and yet, even so, the girl could not shake off a growing urge to want to study them, to take one apart and see just what it was and just what made it tick.

The girl, was Ayla Verdandi; a young looking necromancer who lived on the world known as Tsuvryen, hidden away in what many believed to be the empty and haunted Verdandi estate. Of course, her existence in itself proved that it was in fact filled with at least one life form, but now, after the heartless had occupied her castle that her parents left to her, the girl knew she had no other option to but escape. And so, in a last ditch effort, she used a forbidden spell and scroll her father left behind, attempting to teleport to a safe location. Sadly, at the most crucial moments in casting the spell, those creatures of the darkness had discovered her location. And even with Orpheus fighting and fending them off for as long as possible, Ayla had been unsuccessful in completing the spell. That's not to say it didn't work, the two of them had in fact teleported, but they certainly ended up somewhere they didn't expect. Instead of going to a safe place on the world of Tsuvryen, they now ended up here.

The only question was... where exactly was 'here?'

"Maaaaaaster~? Have you seen my left arm? I think it fell off during the spell, eh-heh..." With an awkward laugh after calling out to the girl by the name of 'master', a larger man had stood beside Ayla. The two of them looking completely different from one another. Ayla, was a very petite girl, standing no more than four and a half feet at best, garbed in white, gothic-lolita clothing, frilled, and the skirt reaching at her knees. Her hair was a cyan blue, the bangs actually covering the middle of her face, right between her eyes, along with a white hair band over the top. There were a few things odd about the girl though, her skin was deathly pale, and her eye color was a strange, murky gray, almost like dark rain clouds, and even stranger was the old, dried stains of blood in her dress, and a small shortbow made of bleached white bone along her back.

The other man though who was asking for his arm of all things stood much taller, just over six feet, with long gray hair that reached his waist. He had a wrinkled old hat that coated the upper portion of his face in shadow, a Cheshire’s grin of only fangs, and a long, black, single button up coat with sleeves that covered his entire hand, shielding all of his appendages except his feet that looked like they were covered simply in white bandage wraps. Most unsettling of all though, was that his face had a few stitch marks along it, and he was in fact missing his left arm.

This man was clearly not normal, the blood from his missing arm hardly even producing as much as one would expect, most of the now empty long sleeve of his cloak soaking up the man's blood, as he casually looked left and right, even though his eyes were shaded from his hat. Beside him too was a large, black knapsack, which he used his right arm to grab, and sling over his shoulder, clearly having a bit of weight to it from the rattling inside, but showing no strain as he lifted it.

Suddenly, Ayla moved her lips a little, but nothing was actually heard or said, as if the wind had sucked away her voice. And then, she looked around, gathering the sites of exactly where they were. The two were actually on a rooftop, and as she looked over the edge, the small girl walking slowly, even casually to it, she gazed her gray eyes down to see a lit sign reading 'Hotel.' Looking around further, she saw numerous stores, one of them, known as 'Dress & Suit' with the logo of a crazed man in a top-hat had what looked to be an arm lying on it's rooftop. It was stitched from all sorts of different colored flesh, and at it's fingertips lied massive, black claws. She knew her own work, that was Orpheus's arm, they just had to go get it. Although... there was a church at the farther end of this district too, and she knew that would be a problem if they got too close. For now, they would keep away from there, and perhaps ask around. Of course, Orpheus would do all the asking...
User Image
"There? Ooooh, I see-I see! Thank you for letting me use your lovely little eyes master. I will go get it~" With another snarky little chuckle, Orpheus leapt down from the rooftop, his black, buttoned up coat fluttering from the wind, and he landed on his bandaged feet with grace, even holding up one arm with a little 'Tah-dah~!' and smiling more. He would then begin heading for the building, all the while having Ayla continue to stare at it. After all, she was, quite literally, his eyes. And if she wasn't looking at his destination, he would have a lot more trouble getting it.
“But Death itself is a new life entirely.”

[Fal'Navi]
"...The shadows beckon."

[Castle Oblivion > Wonderland]

Fal'navi stepped out of the portal with a loud clunk, his dragoon armor looking bleak against the colorful world of Wonderland. He could only shudder as he looked around at this strange world.

"...By the Dragon God, there's no way this world is real..." The Wrathful Dragon said in disgust, turning to his companion [who should hopefully have arrived by now.] "...I shall find Alice...You can go have fun with the inhabitants, hm? Also, make sure you leave some for the Heartless." He gave the order in a hushed tone, glaring at the drow with a hateful glance.

[[Vain]]
"Having second thoughts now..."

___[Traverse Town .:. First District]

Vain stopped for a moment, watching as Elde went on ahead. He looked down at his hand with a worried look on his face before sticking it in his pocket and following after. "So what is this place, anyways?"

Solaris
{Sorry, I'll be taking my leave now.}

[Traverse Town : First District]

When the creature backed up a bit, Sol stopped shaking as much and dropped his staff to his side. It seemed that the creature didn't want to hurt him. Glancing at the thing that the creature had produced, he realized that it was a candlestick holder. Why does it have this? Maybe it collects these things? Sol thought to himself as he bent down and picked it up.

As he straightened up, somebody (Nalo) ran up to them and began to talk to the creature. Stepping back quickly, Sol looked at the newcomer. He seemed to know what kind of a creature it was. Curious as Sol was, he wanted to know what the creature was called, instead of just calling it a creature or a thing. So, gathering up his courage, he looked at the man, then swiftly looked down again. "Excuse me," Sol mumbled, "Do you know what that creature is called?"

"Why does fortune...seem to strike the most kindhearted people? Is everything just pre-ordained?"

.:[Traverse Town: First District]:.

Elde walked with Vain and listened to him intently. “This place is where people end up when… their worlds are destroyed, but I wouldn’t talk to anyone about that. It would be a bit of a gamble.” Elde himself was even sort of down at the idea. He wasn’t sure what was more discouraging, not knowing where he came from or the fact that there was a good chance wherever that was was destroyed. This got him thinking of something he meant to ask Vain.

“So you said your from Poeres right? I’m assuming that means you remember stuff about it?” he knew it was an odd question but he was always wondering if there had ever been anyone in his situation before. They were now walking through the area where Sory and the others were visible, but Elde seemed distracted by his current conversation.
