Cody Turned to Kabri. "Yeah never been the Genjutsu type" he said as he smiled and got up "Well I will go to Konaha for fun and sicne tehre is nothing to do.' He then did a single hand sign and walked into a small flame that started and disappeared.

While waiting for his master to respond Fordon took of his cloak gloves and shirt. he was ready to start the next step of his training

Rukodo picked up another scroll with an earth symbol enscribed on it. He tossed it to Fordon, while simultaneouly staring off into the distance. He turned to address his apprentice,"These are all the way up to high gennin." Rukodo stated, taking a moment to recollect the order in his scroll collection. "Next is Suiton." Not only would Fordon need to work to learn the ninjutsu inside the scroll, the scroll itself was sealed with a riddle. What has Four legs in the morning, Two in the afternoon, and three in the evening. Some might recognize this as the sphinx's famous riddle.The seal required Fordon to answer the riddle first before the scroll could be opened.

[4 posts Each] The scroll rolled open and Read: Doton: Shuriken no Jutsu (Earth Release: Stone Shuriken Skill)
Description: Widely used in situations where the user runs out of projectiles. By picking up dirt from the ground and infusing it with chakra, it molds together and takes the form of a shuriken.
Doton: Shinjuu Zanshu no Jutsu (Earth Release: Inner Decapitation Skill)
Description: This earth jutsu allows the user to “dive” into the ground and move around in it as if it was water, or even thin air. This ability allows the user to get near an opponent without notice and when below him, pull down the opponent to ground, burying his body and leaving only the head above the ground. This particular jutsu isn’t an attack by itself, but it easily creates and opening for more deadly attacks.
Doton: Tamaishi Danmaku (Earth Release: Pebble barrage)
Description: Another basic technique. The user releases a surge of chakra that is capable of lifting small stones and pebbles off the ground and sending them flying towards the enemy. Only small stones up to the size of a grape can be sent flying, and objects too small such as sand will not be carried by the chakra. The force of this attack is not really damaging. It’s only something like having many pebbles thrown at you. It’s more of a distraction and annoyance than to actually damage. Yet, it’s pretty useful to distract an enemy while one makes an escape.
Doton: Rikujou Douyou no jutsu (Earth Release: Ground shaking technique)
Description: Using this technique, the user sends chakra into the ground to cause the ground to shake. The spot of the ground to affect can be controlled. The magnitude of shaking is rather minor though, only capable of probably slightly unbalancing the opponent. If done while the opponent is not on firm ground, it may cause him/her to fall. Usually used for distraction as well.
Doton: Jihibiki Kansei no Jutsu (Earth Release: Earth Tremor Sense Technique)
Description: By touching the ground, the user can sense tremors or vibrations in the ground. These tremors indicate movement, which the user can sense, although he doesn't know who exactly it is. The range is half a mile.
Ohitsuji Kashira (Ram head)
Description: A basic earth protection jutsu where a small, curved wall about the size of the creator is created. It can deflect shuriken and fire jutsu but is weakened by water jutsu. For every rank, the wall grows 5 feet by 5 feet.
Doton: Tsuka no Tsuchi Souzou (Earth Release: Earth Mound Creation)
Description: The earth is caused to rise up at least 10 feet and a steep sloped mound is made with the shinobi performing this jutsu at its peak. The mound soaks up water like a sponge making this an effective jutsu to perform when fighting any water using shinobi.
Geigeki No Doro (Mud Inteceptor)
Description: The performer of this jutsu causes small mud balls to shoot out of the ground, deflecting and countering any projectiles. This has no effect on a person other than soiling their clothes. Though it has been used by many a boy who wished to get into a mud fight.
Doton: Sekkai Koutetsuban (Earth Release: Stone Breast Plate)
Description: By taking earth and rubbing it on his/her chest and stomach, the earth is hardened into a stone breast plate that adds extra protection to the user. The breastplate is held intact through the chakra molded into it.

"ok lets get this start then" he said with a smile he read the first jutsu. "hmmm stone suriken... ok that should be a useful" he set the scroll down and picked up some dirt. he did some handsigns and said " Doton Shuriken no Jutsu!" but nothing happened the dirt just sat there. (1/4)

Fordon then though about the move. he had to channel his chakra into the dirt then form it. so he tried again. he felt his chakra going into this dirt still in his hand. he did a few hand signs said "Doton Shuriken no Jutsu" the dirt formed into a shuriken and and rotating on his right foot he released it from his left hand and sent it howling through the air. a moment later it crumbled and returned to dirt. (2/4)

Fordon picked up more dirt and did the jutsu again but this time he sent it soaring of into the heavens. for as long as he could tell it held together. seeing that result he smiled (3/4)
It was time to try it on something solid. He picked up more dirt and aiming at a tree he did the jutsu again. the shuriken screamed as it cut through the air and slammed into the trunk of the tree. cracking and splitting could be heard as the stone blade berried itself deep into the tree. "well that looks like it worked" Fordn said happy with the result. he walked back over to the scroll and heard a noise from above him. he caught the stone shuriken as it came down and threw it the tree as well. while it smashed into the tree he read the next jutsu from the scroll (4/4)

(1/4) "Doton: Shinjuu Zanshu no Jutsu?" he said to no one "wait this is a lot like a jutsu i already know" so with that in mind he began to practice. he did so hand signs and dove into the earth. he swam under a rock and tried to pull it under. it refused to move till he finally gave up and hopped back out of the ground gasping.
(2/4) Fordon did the hand signs again and dove back under the ground. he tried to pull the rock under and this time it move down alright.... right into Fordons face. once again Fordon came back up trying to catch his breath.
(3/4) Now frustrated he turned and dove back under. he pulled a new rock under and was carful not to hit his head as he moved. it seemed to work but it was too slow.
(4/4) Fordon decided to do it again only this time he moved as fast as he could. his dove into the ground snaked under a huge rock and pulled it down as far as he could. he came back up with a smile. he could imagine the terror people would have seeing nothing and being pulled under the ground and then having their heart ripped from their chest.
he moved back to the scroll to read the next move and as he did so he brushed off some of the dirt that still clung to him.

1/4 "Pebble barrage? well it is on the scroll so..." Fordon said getting into a ready position. he did a few hand signs and said "Doton: Tamaishi Danmaku". the pebbles shook on the ground but never left it.
2/4 "ok a little more effort" so once again he did the hand signs and and said "Doton: Tamaishi Danmaku" the pebbles rose off the ground to about his waist hight but the fell back down.
3/4 "still more effort" so once again he let lose his chakra with hand signs and words. the pebbles flew off the ground and started pelting Fordon. "ok so i got it but in the wrong direction" he muttered
4/4 "ok lets focus now. in the right direction. he did the handsigns and said the words. the pebbles once again left the ground and zoomed off froward.

1/4: "Ground shaking technique now that could be both fun and useful" Fordon said the after a few quick hand signs Fordon "Doton: Rikujou Douyou no jutsu" he waited for a moment but nothing happened. he looked around and saw that nothing had changed. he looked and the scroll and wondered what he had done wrong.
2/4: Fordon tried again but once more nothing happened. i triple checked his hand signs and triple checked the words. he thought he had done everything right so he had no idea what was wrong.
3/4: once more he tried and this time it worked. it was a tiny little shake so in combat it would have done nothing, but to him it should he was making progress.
4/4: Fordon did the hand signs and said "Doton: Rikujou Douyou no jutsu" soon as he did the ground all around him shook violently for a moment. "ok i got that one." he said then walked back over to the scroll.
1/4:"Earth Tremor Sense Technique..." Fordon muttered as he thought of how useful this jutsu could be. he pick up a stone and hurled it in to the air. his hands where a blurr as he did the hand signs and said "Doton: Jihibiki Kansei no Jutsu" and putt his hand to the ground and closed his eye. he waited fro the the rock to hit and tried to tell where it was using only that. he felt a soft thud a short distance from him. he opened his eyes and found the rock
2/4 he threw the rock out further and again did the jutsu at insane speed. with his eyes closed he once again found the rock. he opened his eyes and retrieved the rock.
3/4 throwing the rock even further out he once again found using the new jutsu. he jogged out and retrieved it.
4/4 he threw the rock as far as he could and with a blur of motion and words did the jutsu. he found the rock way far out. he opened his eyes and ran out to get the rock. he walked back with it in hand tossing it up and down. he walked back to the scroll and read the next jutsu.

1/4 "another wall jutsu huh?" Fordon said then walked away from the scroll. he did the and signs and said "Ohitsuji Kashira" and a wall appeared on his first try. the wall was however only the size of a quarter. "well that would not protect me"
2/4 fordon did the jutsu again and began watched as a wall about the hight of his knees was made. "well if i laid down behind it i guess it could work" he smile and knew he had to make it bigger.
3/4 He raised another wall with the jutsu but this one was at his waist level. "well at least i am getting somewhere."
4/4 once again he did the jutsu and at long last it was the same size as he was. "ahhhhh bout time." he said stretching and walking back over to the scroll.

1/4 Fordon looked at the scroll then walked a little distance away. he did the hand signs and muttered "Doton: Tsuka no Tsuchi Souzou" with his eyes closed he could feel himself rising. he got it on one try? it was unheard of. he opened his eyes and looked down. all that he saw was a small pile of mud. Fordon let out a sigh it was after all too good to be true.
2/4 Fordon tried again. it was much better this. he might have risen more the a few inches, maybe. he glared at the little mound he was standing on. he knew that he needed to do better. he let his emotion fuel his chakra.
3/4 he once again tried the jutsu. he rose a good distance really fast. he smiled. he had done really well this time. then he realized he was sinking. the mound of if mud. the mound would be no where close to being good enough to fight on.
4/4 For one more time he did the jutsu. "come on" he shouted as the mound formed. he looked at it and was glad it came out well.
walking back to the scroll to see what he was to do next.
1/4 "the mud interceptor" he said walking away from the scroll. he did the few hand signs and said "Geigeki No Doro" and two balls of mud went flying. "well at least it kinda worked the first time." he said
2/4 Fordon repeated the jutsu. this time it produced four balls of mud flew out.
3/4 He did the jutsu again but added a little more chakra to do it. this time instead of four mud balls it made eight.
4/4 using a lot more chakra he did the jutsu again. it sent out 16 balls of mud. he was impressed and even did a cartwheel back over to the scroll.
1/4 he looked at the scroll and saw that next was the stone breastplate. he walked a little ways away. he picked up some dirt and smeared it on his chest. he did the hand signs and murmured "Doton: Sekkai Koutetsuban" the only thing that happened was a big fat nothing.

(sorry this is taking so long)
2/4 Fordon tried again and this time the dirt harden a little. "ok thats not going to work" He said
3/4 Fordon collected himself and tried one more time. the breastplate formed and was very think and heavy. (it even made Fordon look like he had breast) it was so heavy it made him fall over
4/4 Fodon tried agai and created the perfect chest plate. hard but not too heavy.
"ok" he said walking back over to the scroll "what must i do next.
the last jutsu was mud wieghts
1/4 Fordon read the scrool and tried to get a handle on the jutsu. Fordon then focused his Chakra.
2/4 Fordon tied the jutsu but nothing happened.
3/4 aiming at the tree he had used before he tried again. the mud shot up and caused the tree to creak with the new weight but nothing more.
4/4 Fordon tried again and this time the new weight cause the tree to bend and snap with the tremendous amount of weight on it.
Fordon sighed wiped his forehead and walked back over to the scroll he rolled it up and gave it back to his master then went and got a drink. he walked back to his master and asked "master is it possible for us, provided we have enough control, to shoot our threads into an opponent and then control their body via the threads? "
